We went to the Automall yesterday looking for a used car for my wife. We had no intention of buying yesterday, as we were simply looking. Three hours later, we drove away in a very fine used car that was within our budget. The staff at the Automall was friendly, professional, and explained everything that was happening throughout the process. You could a whole lot worse in your car buying experience, but I don't believe that you will find a better experience than the Automall.

I scheduled everything around this appointment that was 5 weeks out, and on the day of the appointment (July 21st 2026), I was told that the EV tech was not in untill possibly late afternoon. He asked if it would be ok to keep overnight. I said sure no problem. This conversation happened after I walked in and was completely ignored untill I finally said , hello.... i'm here to drop my car off for service. So afterwards, I waited the next day comes and goes. So i figured I would wait and see if they called after the weekend. Still no call. So , I reached out to the service center to ask about the progress of my car VIA text - the number they gave me so that I could text that number at any time to check the status of my car. They replied one time and said that the service tech still was not in. My car still was not even looked at after 6 days had come and gone! I waited again to see if anyone would reach out to me throughout the week. No one did. Thursday I finally called to check the status of my car, again. And again, they said the tech was not there and was still out of work for personal reasons. This is the same reason I was given on the first day I dropped my car off! I checked my email the next day, Friday, and they had sent me an estimate for $14,000. !!Just to give you some perspective , I had made the service appointment to replace my water pump, and to fix the driver side power window. I immediately declined the service and called again to ask to speak with the technician. Once again, I was told that he still hadn't returned to work, they would have him call me after the weekend (something along those lines). I never received a phone call from them so I had to reach out again and tell them again that I only want to be quoted to change the water pump and price to fix the power window. They said the tech was not in still and that they would let him know and have him call me as soon as he gets in. So I finally received a call on August 5th 2026 for the first time since dropping off the car. They said their tech was still not in , so i'm still unable to speak with him. He asked if I was going to be replacing my entire EV battery for $14,000 from the quote emailed to me. they said they came to this conclusion because the voltage was "within normal parameters, but on the low side of the range). I said no because i had only wanted the original 2 things fixed, I don't have that kind of money, especially to replace a battery that they're saying is in normal range... He immediately cut me off and said, okay well then we're not going to be able to do any work on your vehicle. He said i could come pick my car up in an hour. Every single time i had any interaction with this service center they were rude, and in person completely ignored my presence. And also, I'd like to know how their technician looked at my car to recommend anything at all, if he was out of work the entire time my car had been in their shop? I was told the entire time that he was the only one able to work on it. I feel that this shop is rude and dishonest. My family has purchased many cars from them in the past but after this experience, I will never return to IG Burton and would never recommend going there for any sales or services. That was 5 weeks waiting for the appointment and then a little more than 2 weeks of being in their shop, so 7+ weeks wasted. I tried to include as much detail as I could, to show the interaction as accurate as possible.

My son was looking for a somewhat unique vehicle, and we contacted McQueen Classics about a car…read morethat we were interested in following an auction in which the reserve was not met. After a brief conversation with Peter G., we agreed on a reasonable price (which was actually less that the reserve). I was sent a bill of sale, which I signed and returned, and I arranged to wire a payment the next day. It was actually somewhat startling to us how quickly all this happened. Because we were not local to Delaware, we arranged a pick up date for the vehicle. In the mean time, we went back and forth with Peter on "details" related to the transaction. Peter didn't always answer my e-mails or texts right away, which is understandable...he is a very busy man...but whenever I called him, he always had time to talk to me and always was able to get an answer to my question. When we picked up the vehicle, Peter took the time to show us around McQueen Classics and we really enjoyed talking to him about cars in general, and the car we had purchased in particular. It was obvious that Peter had a lot of pride in the business that he had worked very hard to establish! It turns out that Peter used to live in the same town that we currently do, and, for many years, had worked at a local car dealership where my parents had bought several of their cars from over the years. There were some other amazing connections that I had with Peter that I discovered while talking with him during our visit. Suffice it to say that it truly IS a small world! Anyway, the last thing left in our transaction, after we picked up the car and signed the "paperwork" was for Peter to send us the title signed by the original owner, so that we could register it in our state of residence. Because the vehicle was sold on consignment, Peter had to get a signature from the original owner; which he did the next week, and then sent us the title. As a final courtesy, Peter put us in touch with the previous owner of the vehicle and that helped us a great deal in terms of getting some history on how the car was maintained prior to our ownership. The former owner was extremely friendly and VERY helpful (and patient) with our many inquiries! I would say that this was about as good of a buying experience as one could wish to have with a car dealership and McQueen classics is TRULY a unique place! If you are interested in unique vehicles, this is the place to look!

Well they called me next day said they were waiting on the parts. While parts were in the car that I bought which they knew about. So they never looked at the car. A 3hr job took 3 days and price went up from 500 to 600 dollars. I really thought from reviews that they were good. I don't understand ripping people off. I would have went there for all my repairs and they would have had a steady customer making more money but I guess they were more interested in ripping me off and lying. I'm writing this to warn others. I believe karma will come back on them. Sad I had to write this instead of being a happy customer Rating is a minus 10
