They wanted to changed the battery. I told them I just replaced it last week. Would've cost me hundreds of bucks. They were recommending fluid replacements and cabin filter. I told them not to replace the cabin filter, since I replaced it recently as well. When I looked in the invoice they replaced it and charge me with it anyways. I called them out on it and only got the labor fee deleted. Still charge me with 60 bucks for the part. If you see that the cabin filter clean why bother changing it????!?! Lastly, they didn't properly tighten my rear passenger side wheel. Some of the bolts were loose and lost. I had to go to a Honda dealership to get it serviced again. I was told the lug nuts were loose and I could've lose a tire. Otherwise Staff were awesome and knowledgeable. Been going to this auto shop for years now, honestly I think I'll go somewhere else in the future.

My son and I looked under the car and saw there was exhaust pipe openings exposed and a joint piece had fallen off. That is exactly what I said when I went into Exhaust Works without an appointment. They only had a couple of cars before me, were able to inspect my car within 10 minutes, and within 20 minutes my car was fixed with a new pipe welded into my exhaust system. Otto was the man with whom I spoke, and not only did I walk in and get my car fixed within 30 minutes, but he also didn't treat me any different than a male customer. Unfortunately I have had negative experiences at different types of automotive shops because I am a woman. But Otto completely 100% respected what I said was wrong with my car, verified it quickly, and then fixed it. The price was right as well. Definitely go to Exhaust Works on Route 31/Lake Street, in Aurora when you need your exhaust or brakes repaired. ALSO: While there, the usual mechanic I go to came in to their shop to get parts.
