A friend recommended Bandys and they fixed her car quickly and (relatively) inexpensively. Then, a few weekends ago, my daughter was involved in a minor accident, sustaining damage to her tires and headlight. She had her car towed to Bandys to be repaired. When she called on Monday morning, they were very kind and sympathetic to her situation and let her know they would take a look and call her back with an estimate. They did so within hours. And although any car repair nowadays is expensive, their estimate was fair. With a small deposit on the needed parts, they got right to work and she had her car back within days. It is comforting to know that my daughter has a reliable place to take her car if she should ever need anything else done to it, but what's even more comforting is that they were honest in their estimate/work on the car of a struggling college student and their kindness to her in such a stressful situation has certainly earned great appreciation from this mom. I got you 129,000 miles, in my head gaskets went out. And the warranty company was not willing to help. Even though I was only 196 miles out of warranty. And it was gonna cost $4200 for them to do the head gaskets. At that's them with not replacing a cylinder head. Each cylinder head was $2000 from ford. And I have a baby on the way in four months. And I told him I could not do that and I have to give up my truck, The owner personally bought me a new engine with 40,000 miles less, and put it in my truck for free, I would I have to pay them a penny. And they said if I wanted to put parts on it why they had the motor out, that they would just charge me for the parts and no labor. Just the job of buying that motor and putting it in was easily $7000. But the owner was willing to do that for me. I did not have any reason to. I've never even met the guy. Because of him I'm going to be able to keep my truck, I have something safe for my baby to be in while I'm driving around. So I recommend anyone who is looking for a vehicle, to just stop by and talk to someone, they are willing to work with you, A lot of a lot of people don't understand is if you just have respect for people, they're willing to help you. Because the service manager understood how hard it was to have to buy a truck and not even me 200 miles out of warranty and my motor blow up. Because I just graduated college and I have a baby on the way and I could not afford that on my own. So thank you very much to the owner of Greg Chevrolet in camby Indiana. I would not recommend service from this dealer…read more I dropped my truck off for a few maintenance items (transmission, alignment, and two tire pressure sensors). I received my inspection report stating the battery was low on the other two tire sensors. I did not approve to replace these sensors at this time, only the ones that were already bad. I received a call stating the fronts were now showing as bad and needed replaced. the fronts were the ones I knew were bad which my original estimate shows. After back and forth with the tech, clerk, and manager of me stating I was not paying for a service I did not approve or need at that time and still wanted the ones I already agreed to pay to have done, I end up paying for both (more for each than the original estimate which I didn't even bother arguing over). terrible customer service. Even after proving I was right, I not only paid for service I did not approve And paid more for what I agreed to, the delayed work due the confusion left me without a vehicle for an unexpected day and had to rearrange work schedules and getting kids to school.

Yes it sometimes takes a long time for my car to get serviced but you can Uber to a nearby restaurant or just stay in the lobby and spread out to get some work done or watch tv. Dirty Dale's exceeded our expectations. While driving home from Alabama to Illinois with our three…read moreyellow labs, our 6.0L Ford Excursion Diesel died while we were going 70mph on I65. We coasted off to an exit and managed to get into a truck stop where we spent the night. Managed to get it started again but it barely ran and was spewing exhaust. I searched google and Facebook for local diesel shops and landed on Dale's place. I sent a frantic message at 1am as they were closed and to my surprise I had a reply before 6am! Dale himself was on the phone with my husband before the start of their business hours asking what was going on with the truck. We asked for a tow recommendation and got there right as they opened. The shop wasted no time and Dale's guess was correct - we had a bad injector that they diagnosed and replaced quickly, including replacing the seals on the other injectors to prevent another failure. The price was more than fair and everyone was so friendly. Even our old dog was comfortable and happy in the lobby while we waited. We got back on the road fast and give this shop the highest recommendation, thank you so much Dale and crew! We will never forget you!

I heard some noise coming home from work . brought it to Ralph's and they checked her over and noticed the shield plate dropped down from the high water I was forced to drive through.. they put it back together.. put the push pins in and said your vehicle is ready...they have been my go to place for everything the last 15 years.. I asked what's the cost? get this he replied "no charge ", I got it back in place for you... How about .... " you tell me folks", what you think about that..
