I messed up an electrical connection on one of my cars by accident doing some service on it. I could not fix it. My wife needed that car for work within a few days and my time was limited during that time to get it somewhere to get fixed. I called CLTmobile and got an appt booked right away. Mechanic came on time; he was super nice and very knowledgeable. He did a terrific job at a very affordable price! I will definitely be using them for all my automotive needs going forward that I can't fix myself. The communication was on point, he kept me updated with when he was available and never missed a beat when I needed him. He came by my apartment and found the issue in less than 10 min. He went and picked up the part, came back and extracted the old part and installed the new part without any problems. Very professional and consistently done. a minute ago New…read moreKevin came out to look at my mom's car that was having a coolant leak. Kevin charged $150 to diagnose the car and said that payment will be applied to the total fix the car. I was ok with that. He made his diagnosis then ordered parts from advanced auto parts. He calls me when he's picking up the part saying the store ordered and quoted him for the wrong part. At this point I'm completely understanding. He sends me a link to order the correct part. I ordered the part and then let him know it arrived. He came out to fix the car. I told him I was at work so my mom would be the primary contact and told him to reach out to her for anything. He comes out and starts working. I get a call from him at work. He didn't want to call my mom because he knew she was going to be livid. He couldn't do the job. He said there was a part that he needed that he didn't have. I'm irritated at this point but I appreciated him not doing a janky job just for the money. So I called around and eventually found a shop to tow the car to. Come to find out the part he had me order was the wrong part. So he was completely incompetent when it came to this job. Now I have to start completely over and I paid him $150 for him to give wrong information. I will not be calling him again and neither should you!

I stopped into their shop knowing that I was most likely not going to be able to get the service done that day but wanting to make an appt. for a future date. First the lady at the desk said that I could not make an appt. then the owner came out and said that I could in fact make an appt. but informed me that I would not be able to wait for my car... He informed me that my ONLY option was to drop the car off and they would get to it at some point during the day. I let him know that I did not have anyone to pick me up and then bring me back and I honestly don't want to spend $15 or $20 dollars on Uber just to go 2.5 miles. He again told me that ONLY option was to drop the car off and leave... I was clearly frustrated but never raised my voice, so I was shocked when the owner snapped and told me not to raise my voice at him... I told him that dropping the car and leaving was not an option for me and he told me to go somewhere else. When I tried to respond he told me to leave!!! I told him that I was going to call Discount Tire and tell them how I was treated, and he said go ahead, that won't stop them from sending him business... I know how a bad review can damage a business, so I thought long and hard about leaving this review but at the end of the day, if this man is comfortable treating a potential customer the way he treated me then he clearly does not care about his business.

My 2001, Dodge Durango had been in need of a its 3rd muffler and exhaust pipe. Salted roads from winters in Asheville and Charlotte had left me to literally Frankenstein the exhaust pipe together where it had separated from the muffler. Great DIY job, but definitely not a long term solution. I came across Romo when walking to downtown NoDo and read a handful of reviews. I stopped in to simply get a quote and he was able to immediately help me. Exhaust replacements in my experience often require welding which takes time and with more people holding onto their cars longer, muffler shops can often be backed up. Romo is a great guy when you meet him, seems to enjoy chatting with his customers and did a great job getting my muffler part quickly and welding it up. The Dodge sounds mean and throaty again, love it!
