Do not recommend, poor quality work, misrepresentation, and ongoing issues…read more We hired Angelis in late 2023 to renovate our basement and add a shower. He claimed to have a full team and promised timely, high-quality work. In reality, it was just two workers, and progress constantly stalled when he wasn't on-site. Over 12 weeks, our basement flooded twice, our sump pump was damaged and we were blamed, and our electrical panel was tripped by his equipment. His crew worked sporadically, sometimes not at all, and basic tasks like installing a toilet took months. He also pushed unnecessary upgrades, including replacing a functioning boiler and a kitchen window. The Pella window he recommended took months to install, arrived defective, and still isn't fixed. He verbally, and in his written contract, described a warranty that does not match Pella's written policy, and we've had an extremely difficult time getting support from them. Please see the attached pictures of the contract I signed with Mr. Angelis and the response from Pella windows regarding the warranty. Pella is quoting me $1619.38 for the repair, despite being promised a lifetime warranty by Mr. Angelis, which he promised was transferable and would include all mechanical and glazed parts. Mr. Angelis was paid $6,600 for this window. I posted a detailed review during the project outlining these issues. It appears that review and the name of the business was changed. I'm reposting this because nearly a year later, we are still dealing with the consequences of his work. Proceed with caution.

This is where I feel high quality carpenters are needed for a good install The team at Window Solution Plus, has great carpentry skills. The trim work both inside and outside look terrific. Spot on. The next stage was cleanup. It wasn't a 15 minute rush job. Instead, it was a well executed professional job, lasting over 1 hour. Vacuuming, dusting inside. Actually washing certain areas of the floor. Then the coup de grace, they go around the property near the outside of windows and pick-up debris by hand, then vacuum. When they leave , the inside and outside is perfect. Collin, the project manager was on point and came twice (!) ahead of time to assure measurements are legit. AND NOT A WORD FROM ANYONE.** I hired Reggie Villa / A&J Window and Glass to create custom window screens and a balcony screen solution for my apartment. Based on my recommendation, two neighbors also hired him and paid deposits as well. What followed was weeks of missed appointments, repeated promises to "check with the factory and call me back within the hour," long stretches of no communication, repeated promises that things would be ready "next week," and eventually requests for refunds that never materialized. As delays continued, Ilona Gumenyuk repeatedly communicated on the company's behalf regarding scheduling, refunds, and assurances that replacement materials and payments were forthcoming. When Reggie finally arrived to install my window screens, he showed up hours late with screens that were several inches too short and did not fit properly (see photo). Instead of acknowledging the issue, he attempted to explain the large visible gaps as intentional. One screen had to literally be hammered into place. Since then, the two neighbors I referred have filed complaints with the Office of the New York State Attorney General Consumer Frauds Bureau, the Better Business Bureau, and local law enforcement. It is also worth noting that the company's Google Business Profile now appears as "Permanently Closed," despite the company continuing to communicate with customers and schedule supposed future work.
