I was impressed how she quickly, and accurately did an eyeball measurement as accurate as my calipers. It's a nice operation. The shop looked busy and the equipment looked good and everything was as kept nice and neat. I was just a little disappointed that it would take 5 days to get to my job. But, I'd rather the job be done correctly as opposed to a rushed, sloppy job. In the end it took much longer than anticipated. I admit I was a little miffed, but the tech cut the new mirror almost exactly as the 58 year old original mirror. So all beef was forgotten, but I did pay a handsome price for the custom work. Would I go back? I'd say so, but I'd shop around a little before committing.

My neighbors' kids shot a Bebe bullet though my French doors and I needed an estimate to give to the Police, to replace the glass. I told her my door was custom made in 2003 by Anderson and that I had Anderson out yesterday and they are telling me that the door is 63 1/2", she told me that wasn't possible, then I sent her the pictures. She gives me a price over the phone $1195.00 plus tax and then said they would not email me the quote and told me that they would charge me a measurement fee to come and measure the door and I would have to give them a deposit. That is absolutely ridiculous.

The vanity is missing shelves and mirrors. I called so many hardware, plexiglass and wood supply stores seeking help. It was so frustrating because they kept telling me the job was too small so they couldn't take my order. I was also very sad to think that my husband's plans for his vanity project would never be realized. But on a whim, I called Dave's. The woman who answered the phone said she could absolutely fill a custom order for glass vanity shelves. She could have the edges polished, too. I was so relieved that I started to tear up. The bill came out to just below $100. They did a beautiful job. Now that the shelves have been installed, I can actually use the cabinet. At some point I will return to Dave's to ask them to cut mirrors to size to complete the project. So grateful for the help!

They were so pleasant and Glen took the time to explain what caused this break and what signs of failing windows I should look for. On top of that the price was extremely fair considering the damage done and compared to buying a new window. I would reccomend Dave's glass to anyone looking for home window and glass repair. This business does not deserve even 1 star…read more I needed a window quickly and Joe said he could get the size I wanted in 1 week. In hindsight, that was the 1st red flag because every other window place could not promise delivery any earlier than 3 weeks. The week passed and I had to call him for an ETA...that was the 2nd red flag. He called back 2 days later and said it would be another week due to no delivery. I told him no less than 1/2 dozen times that the window was going from small to bigger...the size was being changed. The installer arrived the day after Joe delivered the window and said that because of the size change, it should be a "new construction" window, not a replacement. I called Joe to discuss his mistake and he said. "I wish I had known" it was new construction. I said, "I told you several times" that the size was being enlarged. He offered a suggestion on how to make it work. I said the installer doesn't want to doctor it up, he wants the right window. Joe said, "I have no use for that window" and I said "neither do I." He made no attempt to correct his own mistake; that's bad business! What an absolute waste of time! How shady and dishonest of him! He knew 100% the window was being enlarged and the new window should have been for new construction. He does this for a living...ALLEGEDLY! We lost 2 weeks waiting for a window that Joe knew was the wrong one, not to mention the money I wasted on a useless window. My installer suggested I contact the BBB based upon my experience and other stories he has heard about Precise. That's my next letter in addition to the Westchester County Consumer Protection Department. Stay away from this unscrupulous liar.
