Mainly giving this company 2 stars for two reasons: they charged me 80 dollars just to come give…read moreme an estimate... which they put in fine print and charge at the end, so it feels very sneaky and dishonest. And also why am I paying someone to come see a job and talk about paying them more? And secondly, they quoted me 16,600 to build a 6ft wall and doorway in my (finished) basement, and hang 4 doors (which they decided they wanted to make smaller and take apart in a pretty much finish basement.... Which is pretty obscene. I've done a lot of work in past so it's pretty high up there. Would've given zero stars if I could, but one star would only be for the gentleman who showed up (and just works for the company and doing his job) was very nice and personable and also seemed knowledgeable. And I'm sure he is not the one making this huge upcharges in work. But overall I wouldn't recommend and also felt it was weird and sneaky to charge me after the estimate 80 dollars to come to my house to talk about the job. The company should be paying their workers for their time, or have them disclose and ask for the payment when they arrive so I could have the opportunity to decline. So for that alone it reflects as dishonest.

After the jobs are done the handyman says he is done. I ask why the tvs aren't mounted on the wall and he tells me it wasn't included in our price. WHAT????? $700 for a few door locks and dressers mounted to the wall. Do yourself a favor and run from this company. This is criminal what they just did to my family. Zero stars if possible. They bait you in by not telling you clearly how much it costs or what will get done. Afterwards I was told it was going to be $1550 to have the tv mounted as well. The salesperson's tablet was very slow, and I was out of time. Very frustrating experience. I felt like a product I had not requested was being forced on me. I needed something for a large window and a patio door that would provide light blocking at night and some screening of the western exposure during the day. The Duolite product would meet my needs, but I would have needed a vertical blind for the door. The salespersons insistence that he knew what I wanted killed the sale.
