The absolute best you'll find for anything "glass" related. Our designer and contractor pointed us in their direction, had a phone quote done but visited a few of the places closer to home first. None left us in awe and some were rather snide so we figured we would venture to their place. First, the showroom is totally hip. Small, yes, but not overly garish with adornments of mirrors and the like (some of the others we saw had us wonder if we entered into a portal bringing us to 1980). Tastefully decorated with a bit of whimsy. Enough glass to be intriguing and have you say, "Yeah, I can so see this in my own home". We were greeted by the receptionist who was friendly and connected us with Jim (the owner and designer) and Robin. Jim is OUTSTANDING. Full of suggestions and ideas, yes, I have a decorator, but this guy knows style and totally knows design with glass. So enthusiastic about what he does we knew he had to be the owner- but he is NOT a contractor-type. Totally professional and again, ideas galore. If you don't know what you want and what you can do, this is the guy to see. Impressive awards and whatnot hung from the walls which of course, boosted our confidence quite a bit. Jim then took us into his warehouse where we saw all kinds of high tech machines and glass as far as you could see. We felt like we were on a field trip. The workers in this area were also neat in appearance and keeping busy with their assignments. We liked the fact that not only did Jim to run a really tight ship (the place was amazingly clean), but this place was far more advanced looking and more well stocked than anything we had seen to date. If you're like me, you are budget minded, now I didn't want anything cheap, but I seriously got the feeling that this was not the place to find a bargain. I asked Jim to propose the cost, and my it wasnt anything like I was speculating. Actually it was in line what we had gotten, but Jim explained that he gets pricing on materials that others don't due to his volume and having his own machinery cuts costs that others have to pay for..long and short of it, totally a deal. Premium product + premium service + expected budget = happy customer. The shower doors were delivered in about a week and a half, the glass counter top was delivered about 3 weeks later. The installations were impeccable! Totally designer quality. We are still in awe. The installer we had for both items was Cosmo and he is wonderful (and JIm's cousin I have found). Shared and equally picky "eye" as I do and was sure to promise everything was as perfect as planned. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend and would use again and again. read more

Using ATM Glass for our shower doors and mirrors was honestly a fairly easy decision. My partner and I met with a few of the other more suggested companies but from "go" ATM painted a totally different picture from the others we met with. First, as soon as you call them, you know right away it's not some fly by night place. The person we spoke with on the phone was able to answer any of our preliminary questions with great ease. Before setting up a home visit, we ventured to see a few of the companies that made our cut list and ATM Glass by far has got the set up--much bigger of a work floor than anyone else we visited, all kinds of machinery and glass and lots of hustle and bustle going on. Despite this seemingly big operation, they gave us the best one on one attention describing their service, scope and what they could offer. We were even invited to stay to see how the glass doors were made, it was actually very interesting. Many awards and press recognition hanging in the showroom. The home visit went equally impressive, the field consultant who is also the owner is exceptional at what he does. Not rushed at all, went over many considerations and details others over-looked. They included the handle we wanted at no additional cost and included the glass treatment at no cost. They also did bevelled mirrors for us at a cost that was almost 1/3 less than others had priced- but they bevell at their place so I guess that is why. We received our shower doors much earlier than I would have expected - about 2 weeks, along with the mirrors. The installers were also extremely professional. politely introduced themselves, took careful care to blanket all work areas. The finished doors are gorgeous! My architect even commented on them being a higher quality look than he we used to seeing. We were presented with a care guide which was helpful as well with a written warranty. All in all, an extremely exceptional service and I am picky. I would use and recommend to anyone who wants the right job and to work with professionals. read more

I stumbled upon these guys in a Dec. '10 issue of Dwell magazine while developing concepts for a client (I do architectural restoration). What a breath of fresh air! Never before had a met with a glass company that actually understood what I needed to achieve and proved capable of doing it! They provided a glass guardrail system that is breathtaking, several all glass entrances/partitions at the interior, a sliding glass wall and all glass shower enclosures. The completed project was even more beautiful than we conceived. They worked very well with the other trades people on site to keep the project in motion. Kept myself and the homeowner informed of any issues, changes in scope and similar construction related details. Worked to keep within budget , and offered alternative designs when needed. Their office was easy to work with and provided information whenever needed. Easy to correspond with. I have referred to clients for other projects (IE. frameless shower doors, mirrors, table tops) and although I was not directly involved I had always gotten positive reviews regarding their services. IMO if you have a very small item such as a window repair you are probably better off going to a smaller local glass shop as this company caters more to higher end architectural glass rather than "fix-it" items and I would conceive that it would be of lesser priority to them. However, a visit to their facility is worth the trip! They will let you see their production lines and you can have a first hand glimpse of your order being fabricated. May not interest some of you, but as a designer I found this to be fantastic. read more

I have worked with a good deal of glass people in my day -I am a special projects consultant, essentially I seek out specialty trades for various construction projects. This company is one of the best I've worked with and certainly the best in the Westchester area and I put my prospective subs through the mill. I used this company for 14 glass shower doors, glass balcony guard rails and a glass bar at a hotel/condo renovation I had just completed. Like the other person mentioned, the field consultant (his name is Jim and is the owner) is a true professional. There are not many folks out there in the construction/specialty trade industry that really understand public relations and diplomacy but this guy gets it 200%. No mater what you need, even if before in contract, he will spend the time to discuss any questions with you and the client. And always provided a feasible answer. Not commonly found these days. Solutions galore. Very important for larger scale projects mind you. Of the others I met with, none really could handle the demanding needs of the higher end market. And were no where near as equipped. Stunning shop area with a good deal of higher end machinery. Really impressive from the design-build stand point. The workers were all very well versed in their trade and were quite friendly as well. Worked great with others. Everything they provided my client with was beautifully installed, if there was a glitch here or there Jim quickly dispatched someone out to rectify. This place is a true glazing construction company run by professionals. I would use them in my own home. read more

My wife works in the area, and we have been looking to upgrade our bathroom shower door. She finally dragged me in (I'm not much of one to spend my free time doing shopping). We met with Robin and David, who were both very nice and eager to show us our options and what makes the glass shower doors so awesome. After finding out the prices of these things, I can see why. But now my wife had a bug and insisted we shop around. We went to a few of the other places around that also had good reviews. Pricing was in par, but ATM was certainly much more organized and together seeming. So we set up an appointment for someone from ATM to come to our house to take a look at the actual job. We also set up one of the other companies as well. ATM was better, by a lot. Let me rephrase it, they were way better. We had a much more through overview, they took the time to explain what would happen when we took our old shower door out, what repairs would need to be done. Spent time with my wife going over all kinds of hardware options (cha-ching! Thanks!). The other company we had to my home didnt really do any of that, just kept asking what did we want. Went with ATM and I liked these guys a lot. It was a bit of a wait to get the door installed, but it was also a pretty long installation too- so I guess these things are pretty complicated. All in all, very nice to work with, made us feel like we were part of the "team" and not just looking to take our money. Had a bad kitchen experience a few years back. Was put off to hiring contractors for a while there. ATM has restored by faith a bit. read more

Just completed a shower door project with ATM Glass and they far outperform any of the other companies I contacted. The consultant, Jim, represented with so much greater professionalism than his competitors that instantly I knew they were in their own league. I was given a complete project overview with lay out options, choices for what would be best for my space and hardware suggestions. I could not believe how detail oriented Jim was. I was not given near that same attention by others. I was given a detailed estimate of all work to be performed (something else the competition lacked). I would have in truth expected the pricing from ATM to come in much higher than the others given the fact that they seemed so much more refined, but the pricing was actually somewhat less and Jim was quick to throw in some extras at no additional cost (coating on glass to help keep it clean and an upgraded handle). I am told that this is because they are shower door manufacturers and seeing their place, it is much bigger with more machines and whatnot than I had seen elsewhere. The installation was wonderful. The duo that performed the installation displayed that same degree of professionalism. I would advocate employing ATM Glass. I felt that I received the best product and service at an exceptional price point. read more

I used atm a few months back for a shower door and some windows at my home. In all honesty, I only called one other place for comparison. atm seemed to know their line of work very well, did come highly recommended and the owner was pleasant so I just went ahead with it. Painless transaction and my husband and I were really pleased with the finished job. Only recently did I truly come to realize the great service I was given. I spend the colder months in California. Loving my glass door I proceeded with getting one for my home here in CA. Pretty similar set up. But my goodness, totally disappointing! It has all kinds of metal framing at the edges. Not that it's bad, but just not as nice as what atm gave me and I guess I am to blame, I said I wanted the frameless style and maybe this is what frameless is in CA? I was hired by a third party to take some photographs of work done by ATM Glass (I'm a photographer). I had the opportunity to visit several of their completed projects which were at various locations throughout the hudson valley area. I followed them for two weeks and it was a blast. These guys were great to work with and their client's love them! Not to mention their work is exceptional, I can see why they were chosen for the magazine I was shooting for. Beautiful stuff. Jimmie and his staff treat everyone like family and add that extra special touch to every project they finished. I had spoken with several of the residents personally and they couldnt say kind enough words. Anyone out there looking for a great glass company these are the people to call. I stumbled upon their company back in 2007 when they were in Ossining and have been using them ever since. They have since moved to a much nicer place in Buchanan (which is near Peekskill). As an architect-designer I am in constant need to meet the needs of my clients both in functionality and budget and ATM Glass has always met these needs. Their workmanship is 2nd to none and I receive a great deal of praise for any work they have performed. And Jim the owner should be cloned, boxed and marketed.
