As someone else correctly said, he is the rudest, most obnoxious and unprofessional person I've ever encountered.When this guy gets "busy" he treats customers like crap - he can't handle pressure and takes it out on you. We used them years ago and were very happy. Jeff was able to fix blinds when they broke easily and free of charge. Then we bought new blinds as ownership was changing hands. Maybe we fell through the cracks, but it took MONTHS to get them installed. But we knew they would be quality and affordable so we put up with it. IDK if they were built badly (custom install) or installed badly, but we are not as happy this time. read more

I was just inquiring and did not purchase, but their showroom is beautiful and well laid out. They have many more services and products than just blinds and they were very kind to take the time to speak with me. When I called to follow up they were responsive and very professional, and they were quick to follow up with answers to questions that I had via email. Jeff, the owner, was one of the rudest, most unprofessional people I have encountered. We brought him three Hunter Douglas duettes that needed restringing, and Jeff, in an inappropriately confrontational tone, insisted they worked fine (which they obviously don't). He started yelling when I asked him why he was so defensive, and then felt a need to quickly leave the store as his rudeness level increased. After spending thousands of dollars at his establishment he wanted to charge $175 to come out and repair a shade that was broken and would only do so under his terms. One Star is too much! Horrible customer service! They are super rude. Just went to the store and was mistreated by the two ladies that were the people that suppose to give you customer service. The young lady that was there (unfortunately I did not get their names) does not know anything. Got there first and asked me to wait so they could attend another customer that got there after me. They made me change sits little that I knew that the only computer available to give me a quote would be the sit that I was. Maybe I am not that light skinned. Very friendly, and they do a great job! The non-descript strip mall probably doesn't do them any favors, but they have a great selection. I ordered Hunter Douglas shades, and Jeff was incredibly helpful in his recommendations. He didn't immediately push the most expensive option, which I appreciate. Their installer works quickly and neatly, and is very friendly. They stand behind their work too- a shade came in too short, and they called and told me. They said they could install the short one (so I wouldn't end up with one bare window), and swap it out when the replacement arrived (which they had already requested), or I could just wait for the new one. I appreciated that they didn't push me to accept the incorrect one, and worked quickly to solve the problem. My only (small) gripe is I wish they had one weekday evening that they were open a bit later! read more

I have 18 year old Hunter Douglas Duette Blinds. One blind required restringing. Wallauers in Port Chester told me the cost would be $90 and that Hunter Douglas did pickups once a week...and then a week later I could have my repaired blinds. Took it to BBB on a Monday and had it back on Wed. for $25! Then, two weeks later the plastic pulls cracked on two other blinds. They ordered the parts, called me a week later, I dropped off the blinds and 48 hrs later, picked them up. There was No Charge. I was floored. This was totally unexpected and such a pleasant surprise. They made my day. If/when I ever need new window treatments I know exactly where to go. read more

I purchased some Hunter Douglas wood blinds and Duette honeycomb shades from Jeff 8 years ago. I had an issue with one of the honeycomb shades. I just brought it in and Jeff was happy to repair them on the spot free of charge. I can identify with others here who have written that Jeff is really a good guy ... perhaps you have to be able to adjust to his sense of humor. I don't think that you are going to be able to get people to come to the house indefinitely during a 5-10 year manufacturers warranty to repair something free of charge. And that holds true with any product. His firm did a good job for me. read more

Jeff is so honest and knowledgeable - he fixed my very expensive shade in 5 minutes, right in front of me. He could've taken it in back and then charged me $50. Instead he said No charge; he is reimbursed by Hunter Douglas, the maker. Having called around and gotten excessive estimates and timing, I know how rare Jeff is. He took time to go over all of my needs both in his store and at my house where he advised me on the right choices for my family. He was right on. His installation guy was great and neat and did a top notch job. We just renovated our house and replaced all the windows in the house. We were recommended to Jeff at Blinds, Blinds, Blinds by a decorator and have had an excellent experience with him. He is very knowledgeable, knows the business inside out, is very generous with his knowledge and his time. He gave us great recommendations for different types of blinds, colors, configurations. and service. The results were excellent. His communication skills have been very good. He is honest and reliable. He told us, upfront, what could and could not be done. He gave us a fair price and provided excellent service with installation and modifications as they were needed. He was patient and flexible. As to the comments about his personality characteristics referred to in other reviews, we would agree that Jeff is definitely "a character", but not offensive, just a strong character with a sense of humor that apparently isn't appreciated by everyone. He is highly professional and we like him very much. He gave us superb service and we have a house full of blinds that we are very happy with. We needed some changes and he sent his excellent repair/ installation man and did not charge us anything extra.
