It turns out I had no reason to be suspicious, they are great! I live in a cookie cutter apartment building and just needed simple, sturdy roller shades for my two big apartment windows. Frank came by with his sample books and helped me pick out shades for each window. I went with a slightly transparent shade for my living room (you can see outside but it filters bright sunlight out) and a blackout shade for my bedroom (nice and dark, like a cave!). Ordering was simple and he told me it would be 4 weeks (cool). Pricing was very reasonable as well. Frank called me 2 weeks later and said my order was ready - EARLY. With supply chain issues all over the place I definitely did not expect that. He sent over the insurance stuff for my building right away and we scheduled an install date. On the day of the install, Frank and his assistant didn't show up on time - THEY WERE EARLY. (This is rare for me in NYC!) The install was quick, they cleaned up, and had everything ready to go within 2 hours. The roller shades have been great for me - they've held up nicely and the color matches my apartment well. I'm so pleased with the whole experience and think you will too.

A local business said they only worked on Hunter Douglas products and might not be able to get the right parts. Then... cue drum roll... Ziegler said they would pick up the broken blind and return it the next day. Turns out, they did even better. Sean came in the specified time window - hallelujah! - after calling to say exactly when he'd arrive - double hallelujah! - and happened to have the right part with him.
