I bought a used Subaru Outback one year ago and was assured that all was good with the car. Six…read moremonths later, I had to get a new oil pan, struts and brake pads. Then I discovered that the attachment for the roofbar was nofunctional. When I got it inspected, it barely passed due to rust on the frame in spite of it having an undercoat and weekly washes throughout the winter. This dealership is not to be trusted.

I recently went to Subaru Keane because my car slipped into a drain and stitch, and I wanted them…read moreto check it for damage. I suspected that the wiper fluid reservoir had been cracked or punctured because when I went to fill the tank with gas, there was a large pool of blue fluid growing by my front left tire. I thought I had been clear that I was checking for damage specifically related to my accident. An appraiser from GEICO was going to meet them to look at my car. They sent me a list of things, including my front brakes that needed to be fixed, and I assumed that that had to do with damage from my accident since I had just had my rear brakes replaced and my front brakes brushed And cleaned. They apparently were going to do that again maybe everything got dirty from being in the ditch, but they're telling me that this had nothing to do with the damage from the accident. So I wound up with a huge bill and my insurance isn't gonna cover any of it. I'm disappointed. I found the service to be unclear and I'm not sure why my front brakes need to be cleaned again after I just did that about two weeks ago. They also did not replace my reservoir tank and they are assuring me. It is not cracked. I'm not a mechanic, but I am concerned because I watched a puddle grow, and it was bright blue which to me says wiper fluid. I may not return to them again for service. They've always been polite. No disrespect to the workers at Subaru, but I felt I was pretty clear about my reason and my intention for visiting Subaru and a text with a bunch of videos that I don't have time to watch with a long list of repairs did not give me the answers I needed. I'm marking them down not because their work is bad but because when I had an accident and I went to them, they were very unclear with me. And I feel like it got spun back on me because they had sent me video footage, which while teaching I didn't really have time to review.

If you don't want to get out and dry your car off totally with a large towel, don't go here. The vacuums don't have any suction either. I went through the first time, had soap all over my car and windows, had to walk around to the back to tell the attendant that it had soap all over it, he sent me through a second time, same thing but more soap now, sends me through a third time and uses my rain guards as an excuse. Rain guards do not cause soap to be left in my rubber seals around my windows ALL AROUND MY CAR! NOR DO THEY CAISE IT TO COME OUT OF MY HATCH AND ONTO MY REAR BUMPER! I ended up having to wipe all of the soap off before it dried and damaged my car! I was never offered a refund and the guy was rude, trying to tell me its because of my rain guards lmao, sir, you are very much not versed in how cars or car washes operate for that matter. Oh and, I asked if they had a hose to hose it off, "not really" was the response I got and "this is ridiculous, never seen this happen before" okay, well obviously your side sprayers dont work, fix the problem and dont blame a customer for having rain guards, mind you my entire roof is glass and I had soap in all of my rubber molding... I will NEVER COME BACK TO THIS JOKE ESTABLISHMENT. I would rather do it myself and get it done right!

He was relaxed and calm and made the idea of buying an out-of-state vehicle (I'm in Massachusetts) seem not as logistically challenging. Larry and his coworker even drove the vehicle all the way to Boston for me. I was able to register the vehicle on my first try yesterday at the RMV. I waited in a huge line in the hot sun and was relieved when I was able to register on the first attempt - thanks to Dan who provided a bunch of paperwork I did not know I needed. Overall, it was a great experience and I recommend trying out this dealership.

I think I'll be bringing my car elsewhere for my service needs. I really wanted to like them because the sales dept was so great! UPDATE: you can't make this stuff up, after receiving my engine and cabin filters in the mail, I went to change the engine filter as recommended and one of the bolt on the filter housing cover was broken and the soft engine cover was cracked, this is unacceptable, how does a "certified" mechanic do this and not one replace the part he broke or at least explain and apologize?
