Are these classes ok for beginners? I have only done yoga once before, but would like to start on a consistent basis. I have a job where I stand a lot and I have posture issues and back pain from tight muscles. Please let me know. Thank you!! 😊

There are no classes that are specifically for beginners vs anyone else. All classes are open to all levels and the instructors are good about providing variations on a pose to suit any level. In any given class there will be people from all… Read more

My favorite classes so far are the Iyengar classes with Jonathan, some of which are wall classes.

The studio has a variety of classes ranging from the intense vinyasa, flows, to the more restorative, meditative kinds. I personally like the vinyasa classes. The studio's clientele is very diverse and has a very inclusive vibe- in terms of ability, age, body types, and gender (which can be hard to find in some of the cult yoga studios)! All the instructors here are top notch and the prices are very reasonable. This is my new home!

Now the majority of the classes seem very fitness based. There is a yin class and a prenatal class that I've been invited to join despite not being pregnant. I haven't tried the aerial classes yet, but they do look intriguing. Apart from that, the space is really interesting. It's kind of a narrow and enclosed small space, and decorated in a really cozy way that does not feel like it's in a strip mall at all. Makes you feel safe. It's usually quite warm due to the heat panels from hot yoga, so I've been sitting out the hottest months. The owner, Ying, is so incredibly patient and helpful if you ever need anything. She sends very detailed and cheerful email responses anytime you contact her. She also operates a second studio in Anderson Lane for Pilates.
