I found the owners to be egotistical and dishonest and completely superficial. The wife likes to…read moretalk about herself and plaster her face all over the promotional material for their yoga chain any chance she gets. And she's extremely rude and condescending when it comes to customer service. The classes are artificially inflated passed capacity using class pass to the point it's a hazard. And they allow other patrons to use class and sessions as free child care causing distractions. The comfort level is very low. It's a stressful environment. I have better yoga and breath work sessions at home. They're also really big on cultural misappropriation. One example is hosting a Caucasian man playing a native indigenous song he copied off YouTube. They regularly host Caucasian and foreign facilitators posing as spiritual shaman ripping off indigenous rituals they found on the internet. These people and establishments were never worth my time or investment.

She does a wonderful job combining mindfulness into the class and had a great sequence of poses that flowed beautifully and gave me a great stretch. The studio is cozy and comfortable. The soft lighting is peaceful and helps you transition into a relaxed state. I have taken yoga classes before but usually stick to a slower paced restorative class. KC paid attention to my skill level and made sure I felt comfortable. She assisted me and offered an alternate pose when I needed it. The shavasana at the end was deeply relaxing and I really liked her hands-on assists. Her calm, supportive adjustments helped me find a deeper relaxation in the final pose. Her class left me feeling peaceful and centered but also like I had worked my muscles well and given my body a good stretch. I cannot wait to go back and take another class! Thank you so much KC!!!

Now the majority of the classes seem very fitness based. There is a yin class and a prenatal class that I've been invited to join despite not being pregnant. I haven't tried the aerial classes yet, but they do look intriguing. Apart from that, the space is really interesting. It's kind of a narrow and enclosed small space, and decorated in a really cozy way that does not feel like it's in a strip mall at all. Makes you feel safe. It's usually quite warm due to the heat panels from hot yoga, so I've been sitting out the hottest months. The owner, Ying, is so incredibly patient and helpful if you ever need anything. She sends very detailed and cheerful email responses anytime you contact her. She also operates a second studio in Anderson Lane for Pilates.

Firstly, one of the owners (the husband - it's a husband/wife ownership) was super nice, but him throwing his politics in my face wasn't appreciated. It was mere days after the election and he had a huge American flag hanging in the lobby, then he was wearing a shirt with a gun on it and an American flag, and a hat that said "unvaxxed and overtaxed." Listen, I get it, we're in Texas, but this is a yoga studio. Can we just put the brakes on being obnoxious about you being a Trump supporter? He then proceeded to talk about his views and how his whole family was surprised that he "married a Chinese woman" because nobody else in his family would ever mix with a Chinese person. So, I'll just leave that there. On the actual operational side, I went in to see how my daughter was doing. She was the only kid there who had never done aerial yoga before, so some attention to help her would've been nice. Not only did the instructor not give her extra help when she was clearly struggling, but she ignored her to focus on the other girls who already knew how to do everything. My daughter left crying. So, we won't be returning.

The teachers I have had have all been great, and the classes are available for different levels of students and adaptable for your energy and body ability. The studios are lovely and soothing, and I will be joining full time once my trial membership is up. My favorite class so far is Gentle Flow with Liasa K. Not only is it perfect for someone who has done yoga before but is out of practice as well as someone who has asthma on a bad asthma day, but the 9:30AM time slot is perfect for me to make class right after dropping my son off at school.
