They had an assortment of floral selections variegated carnations, roses, peonies, azaleas, to name just a few. One steam ranged from $1.25 upwards. For the quality of their flowers, that was a very good price. I will pop back by tomorrow to pick the freshest ones before my visit. My mother is no longer living. During Mother's Day I try to remember other mothers because to have your mom is such a huge blessing. The senior ladies at Atria are like an extension of my own family. When you do thoughtful for things for them, they just light up, which is heartwarming.

When I got home and appraised my purchase, I realized that I had approximately 10 mostly extraordinary stems along with several throwaways. Austin Flower sells wholesale and retail flowers to people willing to make their own arrangements... or folks like me who are obsessed with Casablanca flowers. Do not come here expecting a lot of service. Come here if you are looking for flowers you cannot find anywhere else in the city. You might be bitterly disappointed. Shopping here is a little tricky. It's not likely that you will get what you came for. Or you might walk out feeling like you've robbed a bank.

Succulent Native made everything so easy and our succulent guru was incredibly knowledgable, kind, chill and so patient! They offered different neutral colored pots and had 3 different succulent variations for us to choose from. From there, our guru instructed us on how to repot the plants and how to set it up in its' new home with potting soil and decorative rocks.

Quite honestly, I never knew that there were so many permutations of succulents. I actually believe I might be able to keep a succulent alive since they require little maintenance. I learned from the store manager that they host succulent parties. That would be a cool way to spend time with family and friends. In addition, while they have some beautiful plants, some can be a bit pricey. With that said, there is a section of the store that has some reasonably priced smaller plants. There's a little something for everyone.

Lea took time to hear my specific requirements and made recommendations. While ultimately I decided not to purchase a floral arrangement with Blackbird Floral today, the positive personal interaction with Lea made me want to purchase an arrangement in the future. Their prices are slightly higher than their competitors. I liked that they had some exotic flowers I do not normally see. Look forward to purchasing a Blackbird Floral arrangement in the future...

The Pink Tulip was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding, and helped to make our big day…read moretruly amazing. Lauren was attentive, patient, and gave us the confidence we needed to know our wedding would be perfect. When we were figuring out print options, we knew ours would be a little more tricky, because we got our tattoo artist to design custom tattoos for our table numbers. Because of that, we had a lot of prints, and we knew they all had to be perfect to show off the table numbers. At every turn, Lauren was more than helpful, and was able to show us multiple proofs of exactly what our brochures, bar signs, table numbers and everything else would look like. Her attention to detail gave us confidence everything would come out perfect, and it did just that! In addition, we had assigned tables for our guests, so we had a seat chart. She was so flexible on working with us, as we got married on December 3rd. Being the week after thanksgiving, we had several changes to our list last minute, and Lauren was always gracious and never made us feel stressed about those changes.
