Nice staff and location but was definitely disappointed by the limited selection and surprised by low product quality at double the price I've been paying elsewhere. I paid $27.00 for a device that lasted 4 days and then wouldn't recharge. I highly recommend good to a 7-11 and only pay half that price instead of getting anything here. I have bought sooooo many vapes at a lower price that have have lasted much much longer and got them over the counter at gas stations. This is the ONLY Vapor shop to spend your money in. Straight up! I could seriously cut & paste almost every review here, and add a bunch of exclamation marks at the end. AND I'M NOT EVEN A SMOKER. I went in with the sole purpose of finding a Christmas gift for my Mom that has been smoking for 40 years (fuck). We have quite a few friends that "vape" and they have managed to completely cut cigarettes out of their life with e-cigs, so I had to give it a shot for my Mom. I knew NOTHING. But, I left up out of there feeling like I had made some friends. Justin and the other young big dude with the blonde hair were TRULY GENUINE, and so knowledgeable about their craft. They made a rookie like me feel like an ol' pro before I left.. even took a few swigs from a nicotine free, Andes Mint flavored e-cig. (now that shit is dangerous, because it was delicious-lol) Overall, I learned everything I needed to know to explain to my Mom how to use, fill, clean, and enjoy her 2 new e-cigs. Great prices, excellent flavors, no "oops flavors"- everything is measured in "the lab" in the back, Happy Hour (what what), and some of the most pleasant customers too. It's tradition on my birthday to try out a new vape shop and get a new flavor or tank. My fiance and I saw this place was right near the theater we had just been to and decided to check it out. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the shop was incredibly comfortable and well designed. We felt welcomed and appreciated as customers, even before we started looking at things. We tried several house blends, all of which were very tasty, clean and well prepared. There was no pressure to buy anything, and they were more than willing to take their time with us and answer questions. The juice prices are a bit higher than other vape shops I frequent and the quality is about the same, but the hardware is very competitive and their selection of premium juice and house juice is extensive, even if their hardware line is a little more limited than I'm used to. Overall, I plan to visit again and I recommend the Key Lime Pie - this is a great flavor and has potential as an all day vape. While the inside of the shop is very accessible for people who are movement impaired or have physical disability, the shopping center itself fails at accessible parking, ramps to get up to the shops and ease of access. This isn't the fault of the Austin Vapor folks - they were more than accommodating of my fiance's walker, but the shopping center itself is difficult to navigate. read more

I have been to many of the vapor shops in Austin and Round Rock and they have lacked customer service, or the wait was barely worth the effort. The customer service and knowledge of the staff at Austin Vapor is very friendly. OUTSTANDING! They have some amazing and very exclusive flavors that you cannot get anywhere else in Austin!! The Hawaii line is a must have! My favorites are Morning Dew, Apple Strudel, and Strawberry bliss. Prices here are very reasonable as well. The employee was rude about not selling any smoking products, which was not a good first (and last) impression. For the most part I was fine paying a completely overpriced amount for e-juice due to the chill employees and atmosphere. Today was the complete opposite the associate who was working (older man salt/pepper beard) with me got offended because I stated "I don't want to pay $25 for this shit." While yes it was not worded great, I was overcharged last time due to FDA's recent involvement with E-juice. Normal price was $18 for 30ml. Keep in mind you can buy e-juice online for the same price and 100ml more. These guys were awesome! I had bought a nice "mod" in a different store, but I ha literally know idea how to use it. They showed me everything from A to Z. Disassembly - Battery Sizes (and the benefits) how to fill the tank, the drip tip an how often to change it etc etc. This was not even their product... So that shows you how passionate they are about Vapor. While they were charging my battery, they let me sample 8-10 different varieties of the tobacco flavored liquids. After I picked the one I liked, they inserted the battery and made sure everything worked correctly. They even offered tips on staging down the nicotine levels as part of a smoking cessation program. (The offer all the flavors in different nicotine contents from 24mg to 6? Maybe even lower. Basically this store was more than I hoped for. Their house juices are pretty good, and the ambiance is nice. Service seems ok too, but a smile once in awhile never hurts in retail. That holds them up for a 3/5. But they fail on selection and price. Their device and gear options are a little light. Their retail juice selection is inconsistent, usually being out of popular flavors and nicotine milligrams pretty regularly. What's worse is expect to pay about double the going online price for gear (if the have it at all) which is nuts. I understand overhead and I expect to pay more locally for most things in vapor products, but literally close to double for the going online price for most items makes this a house juice only place for me. read more

The MEN who run this store (I have never seen a woman employee) are snooty hipsters with extremely poor customer service skills. They make you feel like you are interrupting them when you ask for service. They do not accommodate the customer and they are always out of stock of items that should be stocked at all times. One man in particular likes to tell customers that their complaints are not the fault of the poor customer service, but that somehow the customer is wrong to complain. He does this in a very condescending manner, and then basically dismisses the complaint. I strongly recommend avoiding this store. Incredibly overpriced, disgusting manager (older man), and deplorable customer service. I went in to return a battery I bought a day before because it was very weak & was $10 more than everywhere else. Manager was eating McDonalds at the time & told me they don't do refunds, which wasn't posted anywhere or told to me when I bought it. After I pointed that out, he continued eating and typed on the computer for about 10 minutes before TAKING MONEY OUT OF HIS POCKET AND THROWING IT AT ME. I was completely shocked and said a sarcastic "Thank you" and he said "Yeah, whatever". Also, he didn't offer any assistance or even say "Hello" when I walked in. Austin Vapor really brings a great variety to e-cigs. They don't waste your time with inferior products that will go out on you in a couple of months. If you're looking for some small, crappy starter set-up, then you shouldn't be wasting your money anyways. Austin Vapor will set you up with a solid build. Sure, it may cost a little more, but you have to remember that you are paying for a much higher quality product. As listed in other reviews, the customer service here is awesome. Everyone there is considerably knowledgable of the products they have. All the employees here are very passionate about what they do, and it shows. You won't get some high school kid who is just working for a paycheck. These guys are friendly, laid back, and love to have the chance to answer any and every question you may have, without that attitude you may get from a younger employee. The juices are definitely worth the trip alone here. The liquids will be a couple dollars more than you would pay at other surrounding shops, but they are totally worth the price. They taste phenomenal, and they are made in a science lab, so you are getting exactly what is advertised. I know alot of folks are very fond of the mix-in-person method of liquids, but wouldn't you rather know the liquids will be the exact same every time? Too many times have I gone to other shops and been plagued by the new employee who looks as though they are lost when mixing your liquids for you. This simply won't happen to you here, you get the exact same product every time. I've only tried a select few of the liquids here, but trust me, they are very worth it. I've been vaping for about 3 years, and I can safely say this is place offers the best quality products you can buy. Just remember, quality always wins in the e-cig world, so don't be cheap.. Others shops I have been to just don't offer the customer service like this shop! They have over 50 plus in house blends so you're bound to find a flavor you love such as (banoli, water dragon, and burnt orange) are my favorite. The short version of this is STAY AWAY from here and go to Vintage Vapor. Details of my Austin Vapor visit is as follows.. Walked in to check it out since at the time I was in the area at the time. Greeted by two men who were friendly at first but didn't honestly seem to care much. They didn't really jump at a chance to help when I was perusing and their liquid selection is slightly average at best. Their prices for liquid seemed a bit high as well, and I wanted to sample some it was "$1 per five" which is insane given a majority of places either have a 1 time fee or a $1 unlimited but per visit. After being overcharged for batteries I left and found an amazing store with genuine and kind people, with insanely good prices. If you want a real experience go to Vintage Vapor. The extra few minutes are worth it to get there. I will never go to another place to get anything (albeit their mod prices are high but who's aren't? This is the worst vapor store in the city. I bought a battery and charger there two weeks ago and neither have worked. I went to the store last night and was met with skepticism and condensation. They connected the battery and decided it was the small o ring inside it that had slipped down too far and assured me there was nothing wrong with the battery or the charger. The charger doesn't charge any of my other four batteries. I decided not to do business with them and called to find out their return policy. The guy on the phone said they really didn't have one and wanted to know if it was working when I left the store. The battery did not work (assumed it was low) and I didn't test the charger. I had no intention of a prolonged stay to find out. I'm not sure anyone would. This my first, last and only experience there. All About Vapor is the place as far as I'm concerned. This place is terrible and clearly they do not stand behind their product. I would give this place negative stars. Also, their website doesn't work and shop@austinvapor.com bounces emails along with the employee that sent me the receipt. This email is also broken. The online ordering is in shambles and does not work. Before you purchase anything, ask what the return or exchange policy is before you buy. Then check the competitors. I walked away from this phone call very angry. 1) There was no return policy and the phone person made it clear this wasn't going to happen. 2) I was asked if I had tested the charger and battery before I left. Apparently this is something that is standard at this location but I was unaware. There should be a sign on the door warning customers. I spent $25 (not $10) on the battery and $9.99 pm the charger. How much should I have spent to make my business with your while? Personally I prefer the smaller device. If you're opinion of it is so low end, perhaps you shouldn't sell it.
