Dance With Me Austin caught our attention because they offer dance lessons for wheelchair users…read more They're located inside The Domain, and when we arrived, the first thing I noticed was the wall of glass windows. You can see everything from the outside, and I'll be honest, I felt a little awkward knowing people could watch us. Once inside, I noticed several couples dancing with different instructors and had a moment of nervousness, wondering if there would be enough space for us. Then we met our instructor, Johnny, and all of that disappeared. He is an absolute delight. From the start, he made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely at ease. I quickly forgot about the windows and the other dancers. We had plenty of room, and that's entirely thanks to how Johnny guided the lesson. Even though we were doing a shorter intro session, he managed to teach us all the basics to the song we chose. Somehow, it felt incredibly intimate and personal, even in such a large, open space. We had so much fun that we've decided to continue our lessons. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for an inclusive, welcoming place with truly wonderful instructors.

The instructors are beyond talented, but what makes them so special is their kindness, patience, and the way they believe in you even when you doubt yourself. They meet you where you are, and then somehow bring out the very best in you every single time. Over the course of my journey here, I've not only learned how to dance with more skill and grace, but I've also found a community filled with joy, encouragement, and laughter. Every lesson feels like a celebration, and I always leave lighter and happier than when I came in. Dance With Me isn't just a studio it's a place where confidence, artistry, and friendships grow. I'm forever grateful for the love, passion, and family I've found here

DO NOT TRUST ORANGE THEORY WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD…read more I was a very loyal member for years. However, after getting pregnant, I wanted to cancel my account. They convinced me to pause instead and ASSURED me the pause was indefinite. They told me that I would be charged $15 indefinitely for pausing my account, however, they charged me $119 for 6 months. They now refuse to call me back or refund my money. They are in the business of taking money in whatever scammy way they can. If I were them, I would trust my loyal customers and provide refunds when asked. However, that is not the case. There is a clear record that I did not attend a single class during this time because I was told I was on pause. STAY AWAY!!

Although the Orangetheory workout is effective, coach Chrissy was mean and harassed me about…read moreholding the handlebars while running on the treadmill. I asked her to stop her comments and she continued her unwanted verbal harassment on two additional occasions. Coach Jonnie then defended her citing possible shoulder issues in two years time because of holding the handlebars. The Orangetheory coaches were not considering the used worn condition of the treadmills causing instability and a risk of injury from a slip and fall. Although the domain is a great location, the equipment at this Orangetheory is in aging, used condition so the coaches would be the primary reason for membership. The coaches should inspire, motivate and care about the members but sadly they were critical and offensive. The gym at my apartment building has brand new, state of the art equipment and I now run without needing the handlebars for stability. I canceled my Orangetheory membership and chose a virtual instructor called Rachel fitness who is based in Miami Florida plus rowing and running or elliptical.

I've been a member at this location for two years, and what happened on Sunday, December 7th has…read moreconvinced me to cancel my membership. I started my morning as usual -- a workout followed by time in the steam room. While walking from the bathroom area, I accidentally placed my jacket on a chair without realizing it was near someone else's belongings. The individual began shouting profanity at me from across the pool/hot tub area. I immediately apologized multiple times, but the yelling only escalated. Thinking he might not have heard my apology clearly, I walked closer to make myself understood. Instead, he moved toward me with his hands up in a fighting stance, even though I was apologizing repeatedly. Feeling unsafe, I backed away to the locker room and called my wife so we could leave immediately. At the front desk, things escalated again. The same individual followed me, caused a loud scene, and then walked toward both me and my wife with his hands still raised as if preparing to fight while shouting at us. This was extremely frightening. The staff stepped up to the counter, but no one said anything or intervened, which made the situation feel completely uncontained. What concerns me most is that management has not contacted me at all about this incident, despite how serious and disturbing it was. Over the past year, I've also noticed an increasing number of individuals who appear to be using this facility as a place to linger rather than to work out. This location seems to be struggling with how to manage that, and it has led to multiple uncomfortable or unsafe encounters -- including this one. What makes this even more disappointing is that I had a very similar experience at another 24 Hour Fitness location in Austin last year. Between both incidents, it feels like member safety and conflict management are not being handled consistently across their facilities. Between this incident, the declining cleanliness (including mold upstairs), and the overall drop in atmosphere, it's disappointing to see how far this gym has gone downhill. This used to be a peaceful place for me to work out, pray, and meditate -- but I no longer feel safe returning.
