Plus, this site only mentions Dr. Robinson. She asked if I had been there before. I said no. She asked for my name and D.O.B. I asked why she asked (since I had not been there before I knew she would not find me in their system). She said if I had been to see any doctor in the area they would not be able to see me. She also told me that the first appointment with him was telemedicine. What? So how is that going to help him see what is going on with me physically - like touching my stomach area? Thank God I found Dr Robinson who sent me to the Mayo Hospital In Florida, that's when I met Dr Bowers and they let me work out my own schedule and did tests back to back instead of running around like before to all kinds of doctors . Achalasia was healed but Dr Stephan Bowers forever grateful and when I got home he even supported me to tell the doctors to give me a test when they did not think throwing up blood and screaming the worst pain in my life just by drinking water was valid I got a GI tear and they wanted to send me home even after I showed them pictures of the blood of just one hospital tray but they said I wasn't Anemic from blood test enough ???????? What ? I have a tear ? I called Dr Bowers and he had the brains to tell them give her a endoscopic !! Then my other doctor on call demands who fixed me??? Then says " I can do it today but I want all the doctors eyes on you " Wow , even doctors came in to meet me or show me inventions As a woman in Fremont three one nice doctor out and said" she needs her rest" But he was a Happy Doctor wanting you help out patients in a whole different field . I've seen the Good , very good bed side manners And even doctors showing me how other radiologists have misdiagnosed my xrays That led to serious problems ahead in my life . God Bless you Dr Robinson My life hasn't always been smooth sailing

If you do the research, both on Yelp and Google, you'll understand why. Dr. Sperling appeared on my radar as the only working GE receiving favorable reviews, so I broke down and met with him. He addressed all of my concerns - including acid reflux - with compassion, good judgement, attention to detail, and understandable explanations. Everyone on his team made me feel cared for and supported. The attending nurse, the anesthesiologist, and even the scheduling and billing team did a flawless job. And... In this day and time and having worked in healthcare almost 40 years, it is very rare to experience this. It reminded me of why I became a nurse and how healthcare should be rendered. My hunch is too few expert staff are encouraged to rely on too much electronic communication to keep the bottles--um, patients--moving along. Right now I have no answer to a basic question asked hours ago about what precise time I need to not eat before my colonoscopy. Telling me "after you get up" doesn't help in that these days I get up at 4 am. Now the reply in the difficult to enter patient portal is that I'll perhaps get my answer after 8:30 am tomorrow--a bit late to be useful, methinks. Update: A representative phoned me directly at 7:35 am of my fast day to reaffirm you can't eat at any time after you rise on the day before the procedure. I replied that doesn't make sense if you rise, as I did, at 4 am. I won't be eating for a total of 36 hours. Makes no sense... (I am adding a star because the rep called.) If you need service, my recommendation: Look for a more old-fashioned customer service experience. I hope there is one.
