Honestly, it's like talking to a child...but one who clearly uses AI to polish their grammar. The level of incompetence - with incorrect prescriptions called in and incorrect information relayed - is concerning. I hope they don't have these medical assistants completing tasks that require common sense, like relaying important test results. I know practices are trying to increase profits, especially those practices that are owned by private equity (which this place may be--IDK). But please consider your patients. Don't run a competent practice into the ground by having these assistants do what medical professionals should be doing. Employ some actual nurses to answer patient questions for god's sake, not just "medical assistants."

She didn't take my temperature. She wouldn't even examine me. She opened the door in the middle of our discussion and kept talking about my issues with the door open as she went into the hallway to get on another computer. I asked her if I needed a referral, and she said, "I don't know. Do you? I don't know what kind of insurance you have." I saw someone else at ARC three days later who actually helped me. They seemed baffled about Dr. Siegel's statements. I also noticed that Dr. Siegel put my description of the problem in quotes to imply it was not true or valid. Very bizarre.

No amount of sleep helped or caffeine made me feel alert or awake. My appointment with Amy was to go over the results of my blood exam, specifically my testosterone levels. I was in my early 30s at this time and I scored about 400 on my testosterone, which is borderline medically low. When I asked Amy if there was anything that can be done she quickly said "no, there's nothing you can do and nothing I can do to help you" When I asked if there were any changes in my life style that I can change that may help bring up my testosterone level? I asked could changes in my diet or sleep help? she quickly and abruptly said "no." And told me to go to a men's clinic. The more I learned about how your body creates testosterone helped me understand that everything she said was either a lie or untrue. Testosterone can directly be impacted by getting restful sleep and your diet absolutely plays a strong part in the creation of testosterone. Amy either did not care or did not know about how to help me, not only that, she seemed rude, unsympathetic, and my interaction with her was the last one I ever had or ever will have with Austin regional clinic. I took her advice and made Total Men's my PCP and washed my hands of terrible doctors like her. She is exactly the kind of person that AI needs to put out of a job. I am considering reporting the interaction to the medical board for either lying for giving me false medical advice

I have received clear, helpful guidance on weight loss, along with general well being. I've been able to get referrals for physical therapy to address some joint pain issues. They also have an in-house phlebotomist. A particularly appreciated this having had poor experiences in the past with annual blood draws. I would definitely recommend Dr. Grossmann, and her whole staff for your medical needs. The staff is polite appointments are almost always on time and run quickly and smoothly. I feel like I have plenty of time to discuss any issues or concerns without being rushed but also don't spend a lot of time waiting within the appointment to speak to anybody.

It took them 13 business days (M-F) - otherwise known as 2.5 WEEKS to respond back to me. And I had sent TWO follow up messages after my initial message because of how long it was taking for them to respond. The portal message center says allow UP to 5 days for a response. Fine, I did! But almost 3 weeks for ONE response!?? Freaking ridiculous. The person who I've been messaging is "MA Tierra A". Awful. Slow. And selectively picks what to respond to so you have to ask again for the other answers and it takes weeks and weeks to hear back. I'm in the process of finding a new doctor. This whole situation has put a bad taste in my mouth. They were so so to start off with, but their communication is god awful and slow as all heck.

First, it took almost four months to get in with a PCP (which isn't necessarily ARC's fault, but they're part of the problem). When I finally got in, FNP Hemmen at ARC Far West was rude, argumentative, says one thing at one visit and denies ever saying it on the second visit (should not have gone back for a second visit, but definitely won't be back for a third), refers you out for literally everything (including all the things my other PCPs have done at my visits with them), and is not afraid to let you know that she does NOT have time for your concerns at her visit, even when there's an empty lobby. The bedside manner was that of a hungry grizzly bear with a thorn in each paw. I will give kudos to the nurse or MA that rooms you and gets your vitals. She was kind both times, even when having to deal with that horrendous provider all day. I can find friendlier, more thorough care elsewhere and will NOT be going back. What a terrible experience -- both times.

I learned today from office staff that I may have been overbilled my last visit due the inaccurate spelling of my name as it appears my medical card. After reaching out to Blue Cross & Blue Shield, I learned that I was billed correctly based on my unique member ID...a good news story. The pre-exam includes pulse, temperature, blood pressure, height and weight checks. I was hoping to grow a little taller, but no such luck...smile. Passed all those tests with flying colors. I had the standard physical exam procedures including blood work. I have the world's smallest veins, so finger's crossed that I will have only one stick of the needle. Star phlebotomist...yes!!!
