First, it took almost four months to get in with a PCP (which isn't necessarily ARC's fault, but they're part of the problem). When I finally got in, FNP Hemmen at ARC Far West was rude, argumentative, says one thing at one visit and denies ever saying it on the second visit (should not have gone back for a second visit, but definitely won't be back for a third), refers you out for literally everything (including all the things my other PCPs have done at my visits with them), and is not afraid to let you know that she does NOT have time for your concerns at her visit, even when there's an empty lobby. The bedside manner was that of a hungry grizzly bear with a thorn in each paw. I will give kudos to the nurse or MA that rooms you and gets your vitals. She was kind both times, even when having to deal with that horrendous provider all day. I can find friendlier, more thorough care elsewhere and will NOT be going back. What a terrible experience -- both times.

His medical student took my vitals and Dr. Weeks barely spoke 10 words. He never spoke directly to me or to my advocate who was with me (I have a hearing problem) but rather through his student. I thought that physicians who go into Internal Medicine and Family Practice as specialties do so because they want to earn patient's trust and establish relationships. Dr. Weeks clearly did not want to be there and had no desire to see me as a valued patient.

I could say the exact same thing he said, 10 minutes and a Bill for $233, the accounting dept says you discussed many items with him, well he asked and i answered, he said you are overweight, no discussion on what my weight should be or any of his concern, but, this question apparently made the visit a weight concern visit and coded as such so that my insurance does not pay it, nice, had i known my bill will go up based on my answers, i will have said no need to talk about it, hence a waste of an annual exam, go somewhere else folks this is not a caring and patient centered place.

I appreciate ARC, and I've been a patient there for decades, but this is the worst doctor I have…read moreever visited. She was dismissive, hurried, and rude. I was shocked. She didn't take my temperature. She wouldn't even examine me. She opened the door in the middle of our discussion and kept talking about my issues with the door open as she went into the hallway to get on another computer. I asked her if I needed a referral, and she said, "I don't know. Do you? I don't know what kind of insurance you have." I saw someone else at ARC three days later who actually helped me. They seemed baffled about Dr. Siegel's statements. I also noticed that Dr. Siegel put my description of the problem in quotes to imply it was not true or valid. Very bizarre.

Either incompetent or lazy…read more I scheduled an appointment with Amy Siegel to go over some blood work that I had taken because I felt perpetually exhausted. No amount of sleep helped or caffeine made me feel alert or awake. My appointment with Amy was to go over the results of my blood exam, specifically my testosterone levels. I was in my early 30s at this time and I scored about 400 on my testosterone, which is borderline medically low. When I asked Amy if there was anything that can be done she quickly said "no, there's nothing you can do and nothing I can do to help you" When I asked if there were any changes in my life style that I can change that may help bring up my testosterone level? I asked could changes in my diet or sleep help? she quickly and abruptly said "no." And told me to go to a men's clinic. The more I learned about how your body creates testosterone helped me understand that everything she said was either a lie or untrue. Testosterone can directly be impacted by getting restful sleep and your diet absolutely plays a strong part in the creation of testosterone. Amy either did not care or did not know about how to help me, not only that, she seemed rude, unsympathetic, and my interaction with her was the last one I ever had or ever will have with Austin regional clinic. I took her advice and made Total Men's my PCP and washed my hands of terrible doctors like her. She is exactly the kind of person that AI needs to put out of a job. I am considering reporting the interaction to the medical board for either lying for giving me false medical advice

I also noticed she was not forthcoming with information unless I asked her a direct question about the diagnosis, medication and care.
