I have been going to Dr. Grossmann's office for my physical for several years now. I primarily see her Physicians Assistant, Lauren Hodgkins. I have received clear, helpful guidance on weight loss, along with general well being. I've been able to get referrals for physical therapy to address some joint pain issues. They also have an in-house phlebotomist. A particularly appreciated this having had poor experiences in the past with annual blood draws. I would definitely recommend Dr. Grossmann, and her whole staff for your medical needs. The staff is polite appointments are almost always on time and run quickly and smoothly. I feel like I have plenty of time to discuss any issues or concerns without being rushed but also don't spend a lot of time waiting within the appointment to speak to anybody. read more

I've had a frustrating experience with this medical office. The physician assistant (PA) Lauren Hodgkins has made multiple errors with my prescriptions and doesn't return calls. I really enjoy seeing Dr. Warfield and her physician assistant for my health visits. They are both efficient and kind. Also, Dr. Warfield is responsive when I've called to ask a question. The front desk takes my message and gets back to me in a very reasonable amount of time. The office staff are friendly and warm whenever I call or when I come in for an appointment and I appreciate that. The waiting room and patient rooms are clean and tidy. The location off Duval/Jollyville is convenient and I never have a problem finding parking. I definitely recommend this practice! read more

They used to be good, but things have taken a turn for the worse lately. Part of the reason is that they have been absorbed into a larger medical system in late Jan 2025. Since then, it is impossible to easily make appointments. Yes, you can call, but they tell you that you will get a call back to schedule it, which never happens. To make things worse, they no longer answer any calls and your message goes into a black hole never to be heard or seen again. read more

I nevwe rwceived an email or letter stating she was goung to Scott and Whie. Thsts fine. Shes been out on emergency leave. I get that too, but only one of her PAs are available and cant get in to see anybody. There phones are all screwed, it feels like ive been abandoned by my dr. I was in a carxaccidrnr and to hosp last week, my psin mansgement dr checked and said see your primary. I cant get in to see anyone . So is that patient abondment I think so. Their billing offices are incompetent's and unconcerned with service. Somehow they got the wrong number for my insurance and I wind up being forced to pay 700 dollars for a single physical. In short I spent 15 minutes or less with a doctor and I had to pay 700 dollars. It is a terribly run office and should be avoid at any and all costs unless you just like throwing your money away. Additionally after calling their billing office numerous times and having to leave a message (seems they never answer the phone) to discuss this charge they put the bill up for collection and then I could not even dispute it or sort out the problem with their information on my insurance card. At that point they were not even helpful with resolving the issue like correcting my insurance information. So I am just out a bunch of money. There are too many good doctors and well run offices to be subjected to this kind of stupid crap. I would rather get sick and die then go back. read more

Lauren Hodgkins, PA-C is such a personable and knowledgeable provider. I'm so relieved that I finally found someone who takes my concerns into consideration, validates my experience, and is non-judgmental. She does an exceptionally great job at providing patient education and insight into my health. I experience a significant amount health anxiety and Lauren and her colleagues put me at ease when I came in for the first time for an annual physical and health screening. I was a patient at this office for several years. Recently I went in and the front desk rep said I owed a balance for the visit. The amount seemed off and I asked her to run my insurance and bill me. I never heard anything further and assumed the insurance took care of the visit. Two months later I received a certified letter stating there was an unpaid balance, they'd send it to collections and I was fired as a patient. When I called to ask about the billing they were not only unhelpful, but were downright nasty. They couldn't locate a copy of the bill they said they'd sent me and had not sent any other correspondence to follow up about the balance due before sending the item to collections. It appears they are ok to overlook their own billing errors then choose to punish their patients for them instead. I wonder how long an office can remain in business with a staff that makes errors, acts terribly to patients, then fires their clientele? read more

I have had horrible experiences with other doctors. I have literally been in and out of doctors offices. I have been to people that told me I was making my symptoms up or that because my symptoms didn't match what they knew my pain didn't exist. Another thing I love about them is that they are super transparent about what the bill will look like and go as far as asking you if you are okay to pay out of pocket if your insurance does not take it. 10-13 doctors later I found Lauren. She is someone that doesn't dismiss your concerns, questions or comments. She will go the extra mile and come up with a plan that we feel most comfortable with. After my experiences with different doctors I do not trust any doctors. I do however trust Lauren and her team 1000% percent. I have moved an hour and 30 mins away from her office. I still go there. I wouldn't care to drive 3 hours if I had to. I would still go back to her. Also the staff is so friendly and make you feel as comfortable as possible. read more
