I was scheduled for mid April and the scheduler took down all my contact and insurance information. Well, a few days before my visit I called the office to confirm my appointment and the staff member tells me your appointment is scheduled for April 2023. Who schedules their annual physical a year in advance? When I told the staff the scheduler obviously made a mistake they were able to fit me in for the following week due to a cancellation. Of course, I decided to confirm my appointment a day in advance, especially after my last incident, at which point the staff mentions that Dr Howerton is out of town and that I would be seen by the nurse practitioner instead. I was relieved that despite yet another oversight by this medical office that my health care needs were finally addressed. Fast forward to today, I had a virtual visit scheduled at 7:45 AM with Dr Howerton due to some recent health concerns. The online reminder email told me to sign in 15 minutes prior so I did as suggested. Promptly at 7:45 AM I logged into the tele-health call and waited until 8:00 AM and Dr. Lena Howerton was a no-show. Obviously this institution and its staff has no regard for their patients' time or well-being for that matter.

You can't call the office and talk to anyone, you have to message through a portal and hope you put some trigger words in the message to get any kind of response. I am officially parting ways after this last incident. No doctor should hold a degree over someone experiencing something the doctor can't see or feel themselves. Take the time and find a doctor that actually responds and cares about your experience.

She is thorough and proactive with her healthcare approach. She also stays current on the healthcare industry to ensure you get the best care and most current protocols based on ethnicity where relevant. This sets her FAR apart from other physicians in the area. I would drive a million miles to see Dr. Supkay. Setting up appts, request of refills, insurance is all an ease due to the excellent attentional to detail & communication. They also have an amazing patient portal which makes communication with Dr Supkay & her nurse very easy. You can also make refill requests & get lab results from the portal. I absolutely LOVE that Dr Supkay does NOT keep your lab results hostage. As soon as CPL completes them, Dr Supkay allows us to see them. And she follows up to discuss of course. The convenience of CPL being located on site makes any follow up labs easy breezy. Highly recommend Dr Supkay as part of your medical care team!!! I really, really wanted Euphora Health to work out. I had a great intake call with Dr. C and was…read morelooking forward to the first appointment with her, as well as getting my kids set up. I was told to get initial lab work done which I did. I communicated via the app that Euphora uses the date of the labs, but they still asked me to complete the labs even after I got them done. I found that a little weird, but no big deal. When it was time for the first appointment, I showed up a few minutes early and a sign on the door told me to please knock or call. I did both multiple times, and no one came to the door. Eventually another patient just walked into the waiting room, so I followed. I had waited 13 mins and no one was at the front desk. The other patient yelled "hello?" and someone finally came to the desk to help. I found it odd there was a waiting room yet we were told to wait outside the office--there weren't even any chairs or anything to sit in. The person who took my vitals didn't introduce themselves. Dr. C came in promptly, and while she was great, she provided a very, very rushed physical. The appointment literally took maybe 4 or 5 mins. As the appointment was ending, I asked what ever happened to my bloodwork and she said they still didn't have it but she would check (I had the labs done 2 weeks prior!). As I was leaving and getting into my car, Dr. C called and said they did, in fact, have the bloodwork and went over everything with me. While I liked Dr. C overall, between no one being at the front desk at the time of appointments and a super rushed first visit, it was a kinda crummy first impression, enough to make me cancel. I hope that Euphora Health can have attentive staff and remember how important first impressions are to patients! I will be looking into other DPC options in the area moving forward.

She had me go down the path of fighting to get a CPAP to work because she insisted my poor sleep was due to sleep apnea. While I do have mild sleep apnea. the CPAP never worked or helped and I ended up giving it back to the DME company. I recently switched doctors and my new doc put me on testosterone cream and 200 mg of progesterone and, wow, I'm sleeping through the night like a baby. It is only estrogen that I cannot take, progesterone and testosterone are fine. I do not recommend Dr. King to anyone. I feel she is very close minded, her bedside manner is terrible and she often runs late without apology.
