Unfortunately, her front office staff, specifically receptionist has Zero interpersonal skills. As previously mentioned, I've been coming to Dr. Warfield for years yet all of the sudden, this lady tried to charge me a copay for which I've never before had to pay with my insurance. She's also very depressing when she speaks. For patients who are battling depression and anxiety, it's extremely upsetting! As the face of the clinic, this position requires someone with energy and enthusiasm. It demands someone with optimism and excellent customer service skills- willing and excited to help out patients coming in for help. I can only hope this person receives the proper training needed in customer service or is switched with another staff member more apt for the position.

I recently switched doctors and my new doc put me on testosterone cream and 200 mg of progesterone and, wow, I'm sleeping through the night like a baby. It is only estrogen that I cannot take, progesterone and testosterone are fine. I do not recommend Dr. King to anyone. I recently wrote a review for my new AWESOME dentist and it had me thinking about my AWESOME…read moredoctor, Dr. Sorensen. I'm surprised there aren't any reviews of her yet - she runs a small practice but she's a big deal. My first appointment with her was last fall. I was overdue for my annual and, like any normal human being, wasn't looking forward to it. A good friend recommended her with a glowing review. My intention was to call the office, just to ask if she was accepting new patients (she only accepts 600-800 so I figured my chances of getting in were slim). Much to my surprise, Dr. Sorensen was the one to answer the phone! That impressed me enough that I scheduled an appointment for the next week. My first impression of Dr. Sorensen was excellent, and things only got better from there. She literally does everything - she is a one-woman staff, which means she does everything from checking your vitals to dealing with insurance. This approach means that you get to spend more time with her, which means that you feel like anything but just another patient. She also takes a conservative approach to medicine, so when I told her about my occasional anxiety, she recommended things like yoga instead of jumping to more invasive/expensive treatments. Best part of my experience with her? I ended up having a bit of follow-up work the next day, and was obviously concerned about the results. She got back to me the next morning to let me know all was OK and thoroughly explain everything. And the day after that, I got my pap results back. That's right...TWO DAYS after my appointment I got my pap results! I'm used to waiting a minimum of two weeks. She called as soon as she got the results because she didn't want me to worry longer than I needed to...wow. If you are looking for a doctor who uses modern technology (online scheduling, mostly paperless, etc.) but won't provide you with the typical, cold doctor's experience, I strongly recommend Dr. Sorensen.

My initial visit was very through and the Dr took as much time as was needed to understand my medical history, make suggestions, ask questions and actually sit down and have a conversation! That is impressive in todays world. Her practice is purposefully small, self-managed and her interest in medicine and people is clearly visible in how she runs her business and treats her patients. I nearly fell out of my chair when I called to schedule an appointment and Dr Sorensen answered the phone herself. Unheard of! She also makes herself available on nights and weekends to answer calls or come to the office in case urgent issues arise. I believe she truly cares about her patients and wants to manage her practice with the best technology and information available to her. She leverages technology to allow her to have the time to treat the patients, rather than using technology as a crutch to fit more patients into her day. I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Sorensen, her sense of professionalism was first rate and she has a compassionate manner that is ideal for families looking for a Family Practice. If all small businesses could be run in the same manner Dr Sorensen is running her business, we would have a true sense of what community really means.

However, since the absence of Dr. Miller, things have gone downhill. I tried about a month ago to refill a recurring prescription and was told I'd need to be seen by Dr. Claudia Legere before I was given a refill, however she was on vacation for a week - oh well. Since then. I've tried to get in three times for various reasons (including that refill) and could never get in within 3 days. Yesterday I came down with something nasty (bronchitis?) and thought, "great, I'll make an appointment, get an antibiotic, and finally get that refill." I called them up and was pleasantly surprised to get an appointment the next day at 12:45, which I repeated back to them and immediately wrote down.. No such luck! I got there early, pleased to see NO ONE in the waiting room only to be told that they had me down at 11:45 and could not see me, and no, they wouldn't refill my prescription. I asked why they didn't call me at 11:45 - I live two minutes away and could have been there immediately. The reception said, "we don't do that, we assume you forgot." That was the last straw! I called River Hills Family Medicine (in River Place) and explained the situation. Even though I was a NEW patient, they got me in immediately. Their staff is pleasant, professional, helpful, and compassionate. They have been referred to me by many people in the past - I'm just sorry I didn't listed to them sooner! Has anyone else had similar issues since they went down to only one Dr. at Steiner Ranch Primary Care? They were an excellent addition to our great community. I hope they can work on their customer service, and stay. Until I hear differently, though, I'll happily drive the extra 5 minutes to see a Dr. who actually cares about her patients.

I recently made a second appointment about my migraines, and had explained to her staff about my current condition. I was **highly** impressed when she came to our appointment with a page of carefully researched notes so that we could have a meaningful conversation about treatment options. I have been very fortunate to have had some wonderful doctors in my life. And I can honestly say that Dr. Legere is now at the top of my list. Last but not least, I want to mention the medical and office staff at Steiner Ranch Primary Care. Everyone is very professional, efficient and kind. I rated his service as 'above and beyond' and would've scored him at 10. However, over the last couple of years, I've noticed a declining trend in quality of healthcare and front office professionalism; wherein, the nurse practitioner held the notion that Diabetes was curable. Since my A1C was in check, she would no longer prescribe the medication that had been keeping it in check. It was not a pleasant experience getting this escalated to Dr. John's attention. When finally that occurred, Dr. John immediately requested a refill for the prescription med, yet made no mention of the NP's error - or that she would be re-trained. Over the years, his office staff deteriorated, particularly his wife - who clearly rules the roost with autocratic rudeness. While I'm grateful for the decades of great medical care I received from Dr. John, I'm happy to see him retire - and hopefully his wife as well, such that patients can receive the awesome care once delivered by Dr. Paul John, MD.

I've had some that are just so incompetent and have no idea how to treat me. I've had some that don't trust me to know my own body. Dr Bledsoe is the opposite of these doctors. She knows enough about my diseases to where I feel comfortable and trusts me to know my own body. She doesn't make me feel stupid or like I'm some idiot who thinks they are a doctor because they know their own body. Some of the reviews say she rushes and has bad bed side manner, however every time I've seen her I feel it is the absolute opposite. She listens and is thorough. I get my blood work and information on any updates through the ARC My chart app. On the app, she writes any updates and why I need them. She also sends me messages when I don't have any updates just to let me know my blood work is fine. I also get these bars of what is a normal level and what my levels are so I can understand. She has also told me I can message her on that app and she will respond however I haven't needed to because her information is so thorough. I absolutely love her and I feel safe in her care. I am pregnant however I am not seeing her for any fertility reasons. She has been very supportive and cautious because it is a high risk pregnancy due to my auto immune issues. I wouldn't be writing a 5 star review if I didn't feel she absolutely deserved it. I feel sometimes when people are going through tough situations they see the bad instead of the good. I know, because I've been there. So take these reviews for what you will.

Note: This woman is an endocrinologist…read more I would prefer to give this woman zero stars. I guess having 57 degrees/diplomas/certificates plastered on your walls doesn't mean any one of them is for learning a decent bedside manner and some tact, or even that you're a very good doctor at that. I was diagnosed with Grave's disease by my stellar PCP Dr. Kravitz, my case was severe enough that he got me in with Dr. Bledsoe ASAP. I did not realize I was going to have to have my thyroid removed, when Dr. Bledsoe informed me I was upset and started to cry. She brusquely stated that once my thryoid was gone I would "be able to handle bad news better." I could not believe my ears. Things just went downhill from there. On one appointment after my thyroidectomy, after I had been on the hormone replacement for a month, Dr. Bledsoe actually held up the lab diagnostics report and squealed that my levels were great but did not bother to explain to me what each thing meant, what normal levels are, etc. She then quickly blew off my questions about not feeling that great mentally and physically, literally told me to "talk to my PCP because she could not help me" and ushered me out the door as fast as she could. Oh, and her nurses are incompetent. I had different nurses calling me and telling me different things after I would have blood work done and in one instance the nurse didn't even bother to note on my chart the things she said; the following day a different nurse called with different information and seemed confused by the fact that a nurse had already spoken to me the day before. I've called the nurses with questions, they've said they will ask the doctor and then I never heard back from them. To cut this short, Maya Bledsoe seems more interested in choosing her outfit for the day then helping her patients. I could never get an appointment after 10:00 am and I can only assume this is probably because every day is a half day for Dr. Bledsoe, she just seems that type. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy or anyone for that matter.
