I am very happy to say that my experience there was fantastic from the point of checking in at the hospital in the morning to being discharged after the procedure was finished and I was ready to leave later on that night. A small army of very nice, very competent people helped me through every step of a rather scary and potentially dangerous operation. The nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff were especially compassionate and listened carefully to all my concerns, and then acted on them. The vibe there was always upbeat and positive. I really felt that these people cared about me and what they were doing. It definitely wasn't just a job for them. I'd like to shout out to the nurses there: Heather, Lexi and Joe. I had a minor complication after surgery and they stood by me, taking turns attending to me until the problem was fixed. Every person that I interacted with was patient, friendly and compassionate. What more can you ask of a hospital? I love to write reviews about food and restaurants, etc, but never about places like hospitals. Let's just say that I need to be very impressed if I am to spend my valuable time writing a review of a hospital. Thank you, Dr. Whitehill and staff. You guys are the best!

Long story short, after a visit with him last February, he got me on the correct medication, including a heart stress test to diagnose any other problems. Fast forward almost a year later, and I sat down with his assistant Sarah (APRN, AGCNS-BC,RVT), who helped tweak my medication since my blood pressure had risen into the red zone. I appreciate the fact that she was able to squeeze me in on the same day I recognized this issue. There are a few other doctors who also work in this office, which I'm sure are just as good as the two I've had the pleasure of seeing. The folks here are super knowledgeable concerning all heart related issues and spend the time with you to help you understand all the methods of treatment. If you have BCBS, it's usually a $55 co-pay.

I came to get my medications renewed and my pharmacy sent them to be ordered from the office. When I returned to the pharmacy they said they never got a reply. I would call the Dr.s office and it would go to voicemail and I would never hear back. I called quite a few times. I figured they closed or moved. I felt very betrayed at the time. I had to see someone else and then they moved. I recently went on Yelp to find a new doctor and saw that Dr. Chikkala was still at the same place!?? WT? I left another message, again, no response! I drove over there today and only the nurse was there. I told her about all this and said she would have someone get back to me. So Dr. Chikkala's husband (who runs the front) Just now called me. He was very rude to me. He said that because it had been almost 2 years that she was no longer my doctor, (well of course she wasn't). I wanted to go back to see her. He wanted to go round and round about when he "said" he called me back a long time ago and it was ME that never responded. LOL really? I DID call, MANY MANY Times! No one ever got back to me. Very irresponsible for a doctor's office. So, I said I would like to get in to see her. Then he tells me that I have to find another doctor because she won't have any information from the last 2 years?? Well, they can get that information from the last group I was at. He proceeded to then just make up stuff and it got ridiculous. He made no sense, I realized he was just being an ass. I really do not wish to deal with people like that so I will find a new, better, more communicative, and responsive doctor's office.

She is thorough and proactive with her healthcare approach. She also stays current on the healthcare industry to ensure you get the best care and most current protocols based on ethnicity where relevant. This sets her FAR apart from other physicians in the area. I would drive a million miles to see Dr. Supkay. Setting up appts, request of refills, insurance is all an ease due to the excellent attentional to detail & communication. They also have an amazing patient portal which makes communication with Dr Supkay & her nurse very easy. You can also make refill requests & get lab results from the portal. I absolutely LOVE that Dr Supkay does NOT keep your lab results hostage. As soon as CPL completes them, Dr Supkay allows us to see them. And she follows up to discuss of course.
