Sometimes it's great and other times not so good. I got my brows done today and she messed up on one and was giving me the mirror to take a look and noticed she arched one more then the other, and I guess she tried to correct it. But now my arch looks too high on both brows. I'm just sick right now. My arch looks so forced and now my brows are very thin. It was a line so I think she was rushing. After the closing of the Highland Mall, I was lost and had nowhere to go when it came to my eyebrows. I tried a place downtown that was mediocre and more than I was use to paying. I did some yelp research and found this place. I though my GPS sent me to the wrong place, but the place is inside of HEB. The services are affordable, unlike one place in Austin that charges over $20. The technician did a great job and asked how I liked my eyebrows before she started threading. The place is rather small and I was lucky to be the only one there at that time. I will definitely be back! read more

This place is right next to the doors when you enter on the pharmacy side of HEB In fact, I missed it when I entered because it doesn't really stand out. Which is good because you can then get your threading done in relative privacy. My experience there was really good, had my upper, lip lower lip and chin area threaded and it was done really well. Found this place through yelp and figured I'd give it a try. Ladies are very sweet but clearly don't know what they are doing. My mistake. I asked her to keep my natural arch and she decided to take over half the thickness. I have never in my life had such thin eyebrows. Was almost in tears when she showed me what she had done (I know they grow back but I have a photo shoot in a week, so I'm panicking). Needless to say, I experienced it and will never go back. THE BEST!!! This is the only place I go to do my eyebrows, they're fast, the price is good and I'm always satisfied with the outcome.

I am usually happy with the shape and length of my brows when I leave here. I am not happy with the line (I get it-it's only $9) and the irritation my skin faces afterward. It takes about 5 days for the redness and bumps to go away, and my brows are used to waxing and threading. I suppose they don't put anything on my skin afterward and it shows. Literally. read more

The first time I went here I was extremely nervous because I had never gotten my eyebrows threaded. However, I fell in love with coming here. Every time I come to get my eyebrows done the staff is very nice communicative, and they make you feel comfortable. Today 08/15/2018 it was kristi and the other lady by her.. we (my cousin and me) called in maybe an hour before closing they said they would still get us and when we got there people where inline & it was 10-5 min before closing when it was our turn... the lady next to kristi mugged when i said i was waiting for kristi and said they were closed so i had to do them with her .. anyways as soon after the lady was done with me i reminded her my cousin was next she made such an ugly face .. especially after we left i turned around and seen her mug so nasty at my cousin.. so unprofessional. NO TIP. Not only that she didnt even last 5 min doing her eyebrows and made one thinner than the other... not so good service. thats why i love kristi shes so paciente. read more

I've been getting my eyebrows done here for about a year and they are amazing! But this Sunday I went and the lady I usually go to was busy working so I went with someone else and I've never seen her before. I should've listen to my gut feeling! This new lady messed up my eyebrows I had been letting them grow for a while and now they are uneven the front of my brows are completely f'd up!!! The front of my brows One is lower then the other and one brow is curved right and the other is curved down :( this new lady I don't know if she was just there to fill in for someone but she threaded my eyebrows so hard and usually the lady's go slow and it never hurts as much as it did this time! I highly recommended this place BUT STICK TO THE SAME LADY NEVER GO TO A NEW LADY GO TO THE 2 WOMEN WEARING RED LIPSTICK THEY DO FREAKING AMAZING!!! I was really excited to try this spot since it had 5 stars on here and was located in HEB where I could kill two birds with one stone. I was the only one waiting so the wait does not appear too bad. The lady who did my threading took a really long time, but I thought I could probably appreciate her precision and accuracy. However, after seeing the end results, it did not look any different from other experiences I have had, but took twice as long. This was also one of the most painful experiences I have had while getting my eyebrows threaded. It was not until after I left that I discovered I had a cut under my eyebrow on my eyelid. The cut is not in the area that was threaded, so there is really no excuse why I left with a cut on my eyelid. The only reason I will ever go back is because of the convenience of the services being offered in an HEB. read more

I went to Christina and we agreed it would just be a clean up, but she made my eyebrows much thinner than they were. On top of that, there was a noticeable chunk missing on one of my eyebrows when she was done. Ok so I thought that if I had waited to put up my review that I would be a little less angry... Well..no. Not at all the case. I saw the light skinned Indian lady (the one that looks like she could almost pass for Spanish. My brows were TOTALLY off symmetry, one was thicker than the other when there was ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY MORE THAN ENOUGH HAIR FOR THEM TO BOTH BE FULL. I EVEN requested that she take a little more off of the inner corner of my left brow so that my right brow matched. She completely did what SHE WANTED WHEN I ASKED HER 3/4 maybe even 5 times to make them thick and kept trying to push "medium" brows on me when I DID NOT WANT MEDIUM. I SHOULDVE LEFT THEN AND RETURNED TO SEE KRISTI. I HAD GROWN MY EYE BROWS OUT FOR 2months and she hacked them away and gave me the look that she was pushing upon me to get. Which were actually VERY VERY THIN. MY BOWS ARE VERY OFF CENTER AND DO NOT MATCH AT ALL WHAT SO EVER. I WALKED AROUND FOR TO MONTHS LOOKING LIKE A DAMN SASQUATCH FOR NO REASON! We spent about 5mins of convo and pointing out a specific look that I was going for that is displayed in the very pictures inside of the glass case/counter...explaining that I just want them cleaned up and my eye brows to be thicker and have a nice arch (which was TOTALLY possible since my eye brows were virgin brows due to how long I left them grow out) the lady went back and forth with me telling me "no thick, medium" and I repeated 3 or 4 times (maybe even 5) no not medium THICK (of course I was trying to be as courteous as possible because my precious eyebrows are at stake and the last thing any body should do is piss off the person that's having such a huge impact on whether you eyebrows look horrific or amazing) ...at that point I should have just gotten up and returned later when the Spanish lady with brown hair that I was told about (by my niece's friend who's eye brows are absolutely amazing I might add!!) instead of ignoring my gut instinct. I just recently had a baby and with the added hormones my body was going thru I was able to grow hair back that I was missing in a part of my eye brow that had been gone from Too many years of plucking... My eyebrows looked like two hairy caterpillars (I'm not exaggerating) and I had completely grown them out, ONLY plucking the hairs that I knew were way outside of the area that I needed to grow for my eye brows to be that perfect thickness. So, my brows were virgin brows again and there was MORE THAN ENOUGH hair to completely shape my brows in ANY shape I wanted. BOTTOM LINE.. I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THAT LADY AGAIN SHE MADE MY BROWS THIN LIKE S.H.E. WANTED AFTER I REPEATEDLY ASKED FOR "go with my natural shape just cleaned up and THICK with my natural arch". I'll wait for kristi no matter who is working. This same lady has ruined my niece and her friend's eye brows both of which have thick eyebrows prior to seeing her. The friend had the end of their eyebrow hacked off my her and the other ones brow was TOO thin and both my niece and her friends eyebrows were NOT at all symmetrical read more

Went here for the first time threading since moving to Austin. I loved my eyebrow threaded back in Houston, so she had big shoes to fill. She did a wonderful job! Maybe a tad but thin, but the shape was really nice. 4 stars only because the location is in an HEB And not the most comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend her! read more

I moved to Austin in September and was very hesitant to trust someone with my eyebrows. In Iowa, I had been going to the same lady for almost 5 years. I gave this place a shot. I started trusting the kind of older lady and she would ALWAYS do a great job. But the last 3 times I went, she wasn't there (I hope she's okay). So, the girl who's chair is by the register started doing my eyebrows ( I was very hesitant as it was). She did a decent job the first couple times, up until Saturday. I asked her to JUST clean up my eyebrows. She got thread-happy and took almost half of my eyebrows off, one was shorter than the other, one was higher than the other, and she made my eyebrows too far apart- I was so disappointed. She attempted to fill in my eyebrows, which made it even worse. I've been a loyal customer and I always tip $8-10 (it's $9 to get only eyebrows threaded) and this is how I'm repaid? She still made me pay even when I wasn't happy with my eyebrows. Even if you tell a person here EXACTLY what you want, they most likely will not do that. They will just keep threading without asking if it looks good or take your consideration on your eyebrows serious. I will never go back to this place again. You've lost a loyal customer and I'm extremely disappointed. read more

I have been going here for a few months and have usually had good experiences. The ladies were always nice, the price is super reasonable for Austin, and my eyebrows came out pretty good. Today, I go and there are two new ladies that I've never seen there before. I sit down and tell the one helping me that I would like to keep my eyebrows as thick as possible. Those are the exact words I used. She confirms- you would like to keep them thick. So she starts and let me tell you, it is not pleasant. She's super rough. Still thinking, fine, this happens sometimes (I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for almost 20 years). After she's done, my face is on fire and she hands me the mirror and my jaw drops. My eyebrows are about 1/3 the thickness they used to be. I say in shock- wow my eyebrows are so thin! Instead of apologizing and acknowledging what she did, she instead tries to convince me that she had to make them thin because my eyebrows had been uneven. Um, no. They hadn't been. Now I'm going to have to spend the next 6 months trying to grow them back and penciling them in everyday. Definitely never going back. read more
