I've been a customer of this McCoys for over 15 years. I have appreciated the staff and have…read morefound them helpful and courteous. This afternoon I went in to buy a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood. I brought in a small chunk of the thickness I needed to avoid confusion knowing that I would need to drive around to the lumber yard to have it loaded. The Lumberyard loaded up a sheet that was obviously the wrong size--too thin. I tried to be specific about the size I need at the register but a mistake was made. That's okay. I left the lumber yard, went back inside to "return" the plywood and pay the difference for the size I had asked for. Jessie, the manager was extremely helpful though the whole visit. He's a good man. Then I drove back into the lumber yard and had the new sheet loaded. It wasn't till I got home that I realized it was warped badly. I went back to the store and spoke with Jessie--He told me they would make it right and asked me to drive back around to exchange it. I pulled into the lumberyard and was approached by a different fork lift man. I explained that the sheet was warped and I wanted a flat one. He questioned whether I had bought the sheet at McCoys. Then he scolded me saying, "Why did you take it?!" Then he drove off. Life is too short for this kind of nonsense. I'm not going back. From now on I'm a Home Depot man.

We are one of the smaller stores, with a small yard, and teeny parking lot. Yet, we do the same amount of business as, or more than, one of our stores twice our size. Our own employee cars take up a third of the parking lot! That being said, it is rare for someone to walk into our store and wander around without being asked by at least 3 people if they need any help. Though a majority of our business is commercial, we also cater to DIYs. If we don't have what you are looking for, we will either get it, or find out who does have it. Even if it means we lose a sale and send you to a competitor. Why give my own store 4 stars? Because there is always room for improvement and no one is perfect. Also, there isn't anything in between 4 and 5 for me to choose. A great place to work and a great store for your building and repair needs! We will also soon have a small selection of RV necessities!! Stop in for a visit with Dely (our oldest employee in the whole company - 91!) and enjoy some free coffee or popcorn!

The lower corner hidden under the plastic corner was a large forklift gash. They made me rent another U-Haul to drive 45 minutes back to return it. Instead of apologizing for their mistake they said I need to go back home to get the small plastic cap that I forgot. Their headquarters representative said I don't have to return the cap on their damaged tote but I was livid. These unapologetic and unconscientious people in dripping springs are terrible. Do not go to this location. They set 3 totes out for me and didn't bother inspecting them. How would they not notice hitting their forklift against the tank when they set these aside?

I went to another company before coming here and never heard back (thanks for nothing, Door Outlet). Prior to visiting this location, I made an appointment to look at the types of doors available on the show room floor. When at the location, I picked out two doors with the help of Chris Owens. Chris explained the process to me about how long the doors would take as well as what to expect. After I picked out the doors and paid 50% down, Chris came to my home and measured my door spaces to ensue the doors I ordered would fit in my space. The install of the two doors I ordered was done over the period of two days. the backdoor took about half a day to install because the frame had to be removed. The front door was done in the period of a few hours today. Corey was the installer for both doors. Corey (like Chris) was professional and personable. Overall, I had a good experience with this company. While the wait may be long for the doors, the final product as delivered is sharp looking.

We hired Accent Deck to do a new ipe deck for our home in May of 2019. We had a friend who James…read morehad built an ipe deck for and really liked it. James was very responsive to our initial inquiry and came out to our house to talk about design, budget & materials. We were pretty sure we wanted to go with ipe but James was also helpful in giving us the pros and cons of both wood and composite decking. He also was willing to listen to our needs around design, which included a desire to have a bricked space for a wood burning fire pit that we were having manufactured as well as enough room for a dining area off our kitchen/mud room door. We iterated on our overall design for a few weeks and then made the decision to hire Accent. James very quickly got his crew to work, and they were some of the hardest working guys we have ever had work on a home project! They were there every day, weather permitting (and even sometimes in bad weather!). Eli, the head builder, was friendly, paid extremely close attention to detail and always happy to accommodate any small fixes or areas we wanted him to address. Both James and Eli had a very consistent answer of "We can do that" and we never felt like we were getting the runaround or getting pushed in a direction we didn't want to go. The workmanship in the final product is truly impressive and we've had several people remark that it's the most quality craftsmanship they have ever seen in a deck. I would agree -- if you're looking for a high quality deck and care about evenness, levelness, and overall structural integrity, this is your team! I'm including some photos of the before/during/after. Thanks Accent Deck!
