He completed the original repair quickly with great attention to detail and high-quality workmanship. What really impressed me was that he noticed an issue with my Jacuzzi and fixed it even though I hadn't asked him to. He completed the extra work perfectly, charged only a very small additional amount, and still finished everything in a timely manner. It's rare to find someone who is honest, efficient, detail-oriented, and fairly priced. I will definitely use his services again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable plumber.

Russell installed my soft water conditioner about 6 years ago. We recently experienced a water…read moremain break in our community well and the water had not been tasting good ever since. Russell went out of his way to accommodate my time schedule and arrived early to check the system out so I could run up to Austin for a medical appointment. The softener was running correctly but the taste was still off. He recommended a whole house carbon filter as a solution. He explained the water company is probably adding more chlorine because it is a community well, which does leak and break often. I'm completely confident this will solve the taste issue. Not only was Russell prompt, but also courteous and highly professional, just as he was 6 years ago. On top of all this, this solution was very reasonably priced. I would recommend Lone Star Water Services to anyone looking for an improvement to their water quality at home. I honestly can't say enough great things about this company and Russell, and their forthright and thoughtful approach towards their customers and their water issues.

I had been considering new softeners, so after Russell explained (in a non-upsell kind of way!) that it may be good to replace the system and why, it made sense to get a new softener. Thank you, Lone Star, for being honest, straightforward, and showing up when you said you would!

I asked multiple companies for a quote and Zach was available same day. He initially didn't want to provide a quick quote without seeing everything in person, but I pleaded and he eventually gave me a range of estimates based on what he knew and they were all reasonable (relative to the Austin market) . It frustrates me as an impatient homeowner when I can't get immediate quotes, but I think the need for companies to see everything in person is probably a good sign. He doesn't want to just tell people what they want to hear to get in the door and then surprise them when the price changes because something about the project made it more difficult. He was then willing to answer my technical questions about potentially repairing my existing water heater and even some local parts stores I could look at for the components that weren't working for my existing water heater. We also talked about CoA rebates, heat pumps, and all the options for water heaters. Companies have a lot of incentive to gatekeep this kind of information and Zach was willing to just help me out as I formed a plan that took my current budget into account. I ended up replacing my own water heater, but I am a stubborn, frugal person. Zach's customer service, availability, and reasonable quotes are appreciated. If my financial situation improves, I'll probably be giving him a call next time I have plumbing needs.
