I've been a patient of Dr. Honles for almost 10 years, which is why this experience was so shocking and upsetting. At my most recent visit, I attempted to discuss a recent ER visit, and before I could even explain, I was told to "shhh" and informed she "didn't have time for a conversation." I was rushed out of the appointment and dismissed entirely. I left in tears. I understand practices are busy. I understand scheduling constraints. But demeaning a patient, refusing to discuss relevant medical history, and rushing someone out after almost a decade-long relationship is unacceptable This is not a one-off. This is the third time I've been rushed and treated dismissively, including during a prior telehealth visit. Historically, this doctor was thorough and took time with patients, which makes the sudden change in behavior even more concerning. The medical assistant mentioned they have new management. If you're looking for a provider who listens, shows basic respect, and doesn't make you feel like "cattle," this is no longer that place. I'm actively seeking a new PCP and would not recommend this provider based on my recent experiences. read more

They do not answer their phones ever. It's completely unacceptable. Getting any kind of contact in a reasonable amount of time is impossible

It's been hard to get anyone on the phone, the app is unnecessarily burdensome and it doesn't seem to indicate if appointment requests are in person or virtual, and they don't seem to do any of the work on finding a good referral that's in network. It's hard to get in with PCP as they are scheduled out too far and don't seem to have walk-in or same day slots to ensure access to care. The receptionists were pretty dismissive and short with their responses in person. It's been a pretty disappointing experience for me personally. read more

It's such a terribly run place. We booked an appointment online about two weeks ago. Today, when we showed up for the appointment, they said there was no appointment. Then they claim the online appointment system is just a request, not an appointment. Go and look at their portal; it clearly says it is an appointment. After my pcp switched to the subscription model, I followed the advice of my neighborhood group in Facebook and made an appointment at ADC with Dr. Dennington. During my annual physical exam, he asked me if I had any concerns to which I responded in the affirmative. My interaction with him was brief and he did not elaborate when answering my questions. He was dismissive of my concerns and his advice was worthless. After receiving my bill in the mail, it stated that I was being charged for my annual checkup even though my insurance covers it. I called multiple times to the phone number listed to request an explanation of the fee. The automated system always informed me that I would received a letter through the mail within 30 days but I never did even though I did receive a bill every month after the initial one. In summary, Dr Dennington and ADC engage in deceptive practices to charge you as much as possible, either by additional fees or tests. You have to lie to them and pretend everything is hunky-dory if you don't want to pay additional fees. If you are truly concerned about an ailment, make an additional appointment to get your money's worth. read more

ADC is great treat to me but I had problem with lab!!! I' was mad about lab because They had closed lab that staff was short on Monday then I called ADC to seee what hours and they said 7-5 pm. Next day I went to there they said lab closed at 4 pm. I got there at 4:05 pm then next day I came back. Staff got there lateeeeee 715 am but lab staff haven't get there yet . I had to leave to be at work at 8 am. So I haven't been going there!! They need to hire more lab staff to come to work long hours and patients can come in and make time 7-5 pm!!!!! read more

Avoid this place unless you want to be charged for extra $$$! Please spend some time going over all the negative reviews about this place, because they are real! Me and my wife both went there for an annual wellness exam, which is 100% covered by our insurance. And you might guess what happened, yes, they sent us $400 bills for "asking questions" during the visit! What's worse, they don't even care to explain the bills when we called. Some guy from their billing department even tried to make up some "first time account setup fee" to fool us during our first call. I would give zero stars if possible. I went in and asked for specific tests due to symptoms I was having. The first time, the nurse called me 5 days later to say that my sample hadn't been sent into the lab because they "went home early." I waited another week for results, only to call and be told that the lab didn't test for them and could I come back? I had to go in 4 times to get a simple test that I could have gone to another lab and had results within 48 hours. Not only that, the doctor ignored my concerns and didn't listen to me. This is the 3rd primary doctor I have had at this clinic and I have had issues with all of them. The last male doctor asked me questions I have found out later to be illegal. Getting labs done here is a joke. Especially when they ask you to fast and have you waiting over an hour just to leave a blood sample. Many of these patients are elderly or have an underlying condition and having them wait for over an hour when the clinic was not busy is RIDICULOUS and DANGEROUS. Doctor is amazing but the office staff/lab sits around laughing and gossiping instead of taking care of what needs to be done. read more

I've been taking both of my kids to see Dr. Woods here for years. She is an outstanding doctor. I do have to agree with the other reviews that we don't get a warm and fuzzy welcome from the front staff. But when it comes to the really important stuff: having a good, thorough doctor, being able to get an appointment when you really need it and having an afterhours option - ADC can't be beat. For adults, I've been seeing Dr Honles for a while and she is equally amazing. Very patient, listens intently and just makes you feel like she genuinely has your best interest at heart. Take this advice and do not go to this clinic. I moved to Austin a few months back and was in search for a primary care doctor. I have no complaints with the doctor itself - but the office staff, billing staff and the nurses who take you back into the room. They tend to mark your visits as things that they aren't and add on additional items talked about to charge you more money. Your "annuals" can not mention anything besides the normal stuff or else they will bill you for anything additional mentioned. The cost of one visit, costs me two. I had a lab done in a separate visit and they ended up charging me 3 separate lab fees. Unethical is not even where I can begin to describe them. When I called to question them, they stated that this is all normal stuff that happens anywhere you go. I have been to multiple doctors over the years and this was never the case. They also stated that they don't send email bills ONLY mail. I get 5 pieces in the mail every week from them. It doesn't stop. All I can say is, you will NOT be satisfied with your visits and charged way more than it is worth. Avoid this place in entirety. read more

NEGLIGENCE! Pure negligence HERE! Please read! If I could rate them a negative star I would. Don't waste your time or money here. I went in on 2/24 to get my yearly check up, doctor said if we don't call you in 2 weeks everything is good.(I had lab and blood work done). I randomly get a call on 3/29 they leave a voice mail saying "please call us back so we can give you your results"!!??? I call back in a matter of minutes because I didn't know what this was for since it had been over a month since my last visit! The lady on the phone says your results came back abnormal we need you to see a obgyn alsoo you have to take some medication. Mind you she said the word CANCER to me over the phone. I'm scared for my life once I hear that. Ohh and it wasn't the doctor calling me it was just some girl that reads results. I told her where to send medication to and that was the end of the phone call. Then the following day she calls back to say hey I forgot to tell you we are sending a referral to obgyn so you can see them ASAP. And that's when I bring up the question "what's you protocol on calling patients with results, time wise?" Her response " 24-48hrs from getting the results" I respond saying so why did you call me over a month later and her answer was " SORRY WE ARE BUSY" so you tell me I might have cancer and you decide to tel me a month and 2 weeks later. So I tell her to get me on the phone with the doctor (now I'm never going to go there) a supervisor or a manager someone idc who at this point just not her. And she said "yes I'll leave a note for someone to give you a call" Yesterday 4/3 I call my Pharmacy to see where the medication she sent over was and they say " we don't have anything for you. Last time we had anything sent in for you was over a year ago" So I call the clinic back! Another girl answered and I asked her if she could tell me why the medication wasn't send she she's said " sorry the girl didn't click the send button"! Then I bring up the question " I also asked her to have doctor, manager or supervisor call me and they haven't" and she responds with "there's no note on that here"!!!!!!! So not only did she try saving her ass she also didn't send my medication!!! So then this girl transferred me to a manager voicemail. And I left her a voicemail and as of today 4/7 no call back for the manager or doctor or supervisor!!! But they were so good at charging me right away. I'm now in the process of looking for a attorney! Maybe that way they will call back. read more

I went in this morning for a blood work. While there I got my user name but no password. Was told I would get an email. One hour later I'm at home, still no email. Tried accessing --using the user name I got. Came up with a password. Two strikes against me. Only have 3 more tries. HELP! I was billed $150 ($70 out of pocket) for removing ear wax during annual exam. The ear wax needed to be removed for examining ear. The process took less than 1 minute with the doctor scooping out the wax with an instrument. And this was billed separately from annual exam as surgical care. Moral of the story is remove ear wax before exam and save some money. read more

Dr. Woods are pediatrician is great five stars for her and her nursing staff. She is very knowledgeable and takes initiative with gathering information and referrals for her patients. My youngest son had heart complications and she was on top of getting the right information and making sure I was aware of test results. The wait time is not long at all. I usually get called within 10 minutes. The front office staff are not friendly. The are impersonal and even when you come frequently with your 3 kids they act like you are brand new. The definitely need to work on costumer service here. The way they speak to you is also cold and impersonal like you are just a number. read more

It seems ADC has been taken over by a multi state healthcare provider. The computer system says they'll call you back, but never does. If you call the billing office you get a note taker that can't solve any issues. You might as well leave a message with a computer, or better yet put a note in a bottle and throw it in the ocean. I'm pulling my entire family and finding a doctor at the Austin Regional Clinic. At least they answer the phone and have people to talk to that can actually fix a problem. read more

I'm truly shocked by the negative reviews I've read about ADC Circle C. I've used this facility since it first opened. I have always found the front desk staff, phlebotomists, nurses and doctors to be friendly and compassionate. I have experienced negative visits on only two occasions. I'be never had to wait an excessive amount of time to be seen. The office is organized and efficient. I think it's important to remember that peoples' personalities and the way they treat others is sometimes the way you will be treated in return. I hope that my five-star rating helps others make a positive decision regarding the use of this facility. Bear in mind that this is a "clinic" meant to treat non-emergency patients. If you're that unhappy, try one of the many walk-in clinics. The negative ADC ratings would be more appropriate for those. read more

I've been going to ADC for the last 10 years. I typically go to the Westlake location but since COVID my appointments have been virtual and I go to the Circle C location for blood work. Today I went in for labs at the ADC Circle C location. Unfortunately my labs were not ordered, however the front service staff quickly moved into action. I didn't get her name, but a nice hispanic women with short hair and glasses was able to communicate with the staff at ADC Westlake and get the order placed immediately. I was able to wait and get my labs drawn. I waited and my turn came quickly. During the lab draw, Casey the lab technician informed me what lab was being drawn and unfortunately the wrong lab was ordered. I gave Casey the correct lab that should be drawn and she quickly got on the phone calling the Westlake location to correct the issue. I appreciated the efforts the staff made in correcting multiple issues, all while being extremely polite and apologetic. I know all these issues were not their fault, so I'd like to say, Thank you to the staff that helped me at ADC Circle C. I know with COVID the medical community has been overwhelmed for multiple reasons so I hope we take care of those that remain and stay at their posts and continue the work, give them a moment of grace if minor mistakes are made, it's been tough for all of us. Also, for any leadership reading this, please give your staff raises, they deserve it, especially with all the effort I saw today to make things right in a situation that could have gone wrong in multiple ways. read more

Very disappointing experience. I have been going to this clinic (at Circle C location) for a about two years now and am now done with them. First off, the staff (at the front desk) are very rude and disrespectful. Their accounting department is also messed up. They had already charged my credit card two times (for the same bill) and sent my account to the collection agency. I received letters from collection agency even though the bill was paid off (twice) and they showed no records in their books. They finally refunded my money after spending several hours haggling with them on the phone. read more

Guess we are going to go somewhere else because of the same thing everyone has experienced...the staff is plain RUDE. We have been multiple times and it is always the same experience. My 2-yr old even remembers the name of the nurse, Dorothy, and when she says hello to her the nurse barely acknowledges she's been spoken to. My last experience this week reminded me how an inmate would be asked to get on scale and get their weight and height. Dr Garza is ok but definitely not worth the frustration. Having sick kids is stressful enough and being treated like cattle makes nothing easier. Have people work for you that want to be there and that take the extra step to put a smile on their face. I've taken my toddler daughter to Austin Diagnostic Clinic twice: once for a routine appointment and once for a check up when she was sick. My first/routine appointment was less than stellar. I waited for quite a while and felt like the staff was all around pretty distant, not warm to my daughter or me. Toddlers have learned that doctors' offices mean shots, so some effort to make her feel extra safe and/or excited to be there would have been appreciated. A warm tone of voice, maybe? I definitely didn't feel anything close to that. Also, we waited for a while in the room as well. And they wouldn't schedule her next routine appointment, since it was too far out. This kind of annoyed me, since it meant adding an extra thing to remember to do in 6 months. The second/sick check-up appointment was quick and pleasant and much warmer to my daughter. They figured out the issue quickly, prescribed antibiotics, and sent us merrily on our way. I wasn't wild about antibiotics, but the doc seemed pretty sure that my daughters dual ear infections were pretty serious. My daughter hadn't been wiping or touching her ears that I had noticed. But I took the antibiotics, and my daughter's fever is definitely gone, and she does seem happier over all. It worked. I hope it just doesn't come right back and lead to tubes, more anti-biotics, etc. Somehow kids managed to not ALL get meningitis before antibiotics. Also, when I called on the weekend about the fever that led to the second appointment, the nurse was very helpful (great instructions for what do to if certain things happened, etc) and reassuring and warm. We lined up an appointment for the next morning easily. Regardless, I have mixed feelings about ADC's pediatric group. I will continue to go there until I have a more fully formed opinion. Maybe the first appointment was a fluke. Everyone has a bad day occasionally. Maybe *I* had the bad day and put it on them. But I feel like a pediatrician's office should be friendly and somewhat inviting. read more

The last one being today where this girl Emily, "manhandled" my toddler, then shoved an ear thermometer into her infected ear, then typing the keys on the computer like she was mad... hard and loud typing. Granted we were the last appointment of the day on a Saturday... How dare we come back to the Dr that gave the shot that caused her to have an allergic reaction and breakout in hives and force this Lil chick to do her job. My apologies!! Wow. I don't think so. I have been going to this clinic for a while front desk, nurses, after hours staff even when calling their scheduling line provide horrible horrible service. all the years I've sticked around was only for my child's pediatrician she was really good but I am overwhelmed with all other staff and made the decision to change my kids pediatrician. I recently moved from California to Austin and signed up for ADC which I thought might offer similar service to the service I received at Kaiser Oakland. How wrong I was. I have had dreadful service at this facility which is closest to my new home. I needed a colonoscopy which was a year overdue and was told I would have to go through a lengthy procedure to get it which included seeing a nurse before I could see a doctor. I had already had a colonoscopy and was told I would have to have another because the doctor had had to remove polyps. Despite this, ADC would not make an exception and when I I tried to make an appointment I was told I'd have to wait several weeks to see the nurse. I gave up and called an outside specialist facility to get the colonoscopy which I was able to arrange immediately. Prior to that I had what appeared to be sciatica and was having trouble walking. I was told no treatments were available at ADC, so again I had to go to a facility outside ADC where I was successfully treated with a a spinal injection and have had no trouble since. They even make getting a prescription refill difficult. When I called to get a refill of a prescription I've been taking for almost 30 years, the pharmacy called to say I would have to contact my doctor. When I called ADC they apologized and the nurse told me she would call the pharmacy and renew my prescription immediately. I waited three days and still the pharmacy is unable to refill my prescription. Because there is no way to leave a message for the Circle C clinic on the weekend, I must now wait until Monday to call again requesting my refill. read more

Showed up at 6:00pm for my urgent care APPOINTMENT at 6:15pm with doctor grey. Waited for 30 minutes plus before i even got called back. Got my vitals taking then switched to another room because the blood pressure monitor was broke. Waited another 30-45 mins before the Dr. Grey even came into my room. She was very nice, personable and attentive. I explained what was going on with(coughing, congestion, lower back pain, stuffy nose) but because i have asthma's day wasn't using my inhalers she diagnosed it as my asthma, Just gave me an inhaler and recommendation for over the counter medicines. I needed medicine for the short term things(coughing, stuffy nose, congestion) to get rid of these things. Total waste of my insurance money and time. Would never visit this urgent care facility again. read more

Dr. Dewitte was very easy to talk too about my medical history and made me feel very comfortable. I am very happy that I have tried this office out! read more

5 stars for Dr. Cross, 1 star for ADC's corporate blood suckers! Had to update my review b/c I went to a new primary care physician b/c he is board certified in sleep medicine and I was having serious sleep issues. Anyway, I lowered previous my rating from 3 stars to 2 stars b/c it cost me only $97 to see my new PCP for a one hour non rushed new patient appointment. I do not have insurance so this is a big deal. Now looking back, ADC charged me $179 for the exact same thing. I still consider Dr. Cross a very good PCP, but she was pretty booked up and like I said my new doctor also deals with sleep issues. The updated low score is b/c of the outrageous price ADC charges uninsured patients. The price gouging is something that is set by the bean counters not Dr. Cross. read more

Lot's of bad words going on about this place. Not sure I can understand all of it. I don't think this is the place for people who want to find their primary care physicians or regular care for pediatric issues. I think this is a place for acute care that doesn't suit emergent care centers. I just don't think this place is meant to be a "this is where I go for my primary care/I get my physical every year" kind of place. This place is for acute care. We had a good experience here, after I had a bad experience with my primary. See the below: Went in to my primary care PA, (not my usual PA) Friday morning, the only person I could see on a Friday (btw, he specializes more with orthopedic issues than upper respiratory issues) with bronchitis on Friday: no prescriptions were given, just a simple "get over it, you need rest and sleep." Huh. Funny thing is, you can't get rest or sleep when you have a persistent cough on top of bronchitis. Coughed my lungs out over the weekend. Bad for me, bad for Dear Hubs, who sleeps next to me. We both couldn't sleep. Looked into it Sunday morning, found ADC, made an appointment for a Sunday afternoon. We were told we'd be charged a $125 co-pay since it was "off hours." Nope, they charged us a regular $20 fee when we got there. Thank you, there IS a God. I found them friendly, helpful, fast, insightful. After filling out the simple paper work, I was good to go. THIS particular PA helped me immediately. He recognized there'e some serious shit going around Austin right now, and that simply I can't just "get over it." Gave me my antibiotics, gave me my cough med ... I'm now well on my way to recovery. Got some sleep FINALLY last night. I can literally breathe and get some rest right tonight. When there are so few "clinics" alive right now, esp. on the weekends and when you need them most in the off-hours, I highly recommend ACD in Circle C. read more

My son has been treated here since he was newborn. It took us a few visits to find a physician who was a good personality fit, but once we did, everything was great. We see Dr. Lopez and absolutely love her. It is definitely a matter of personal preference as I've spoken to other mamas who prefer other physicians at ADC. The wait times are usually not too bad and we've never had trouble getting an appointment. Having an urgent care onsite is great as my little one got sick and was able to be seen within a day. ADC is also extremely responsive with questions via phone which I appreciate as a new mom. The front desk and some of the nurses are not super friendly, but I can deal with that. I've noticed they are constantly improving their processes, which is nice. read more

I was routed to multiple different people and placed on hold multiple times. I left voicemail with various managers but never received a call back. Now I'm stuck with paying a bill I should not pay. This clinic was closest to us so I hoped it would work out. We brought our 3 year old in, as she had had a febrile seizure in the month we were relocating and hadn't seen a doctor yet. I stressed this history, though we were going in to see about a rash behind her knees and her ongoing, 3 day fever. I'm not going to even spend that much time talking about front desk attitudes, unclean looking facilities, etc. that could make a medical facility rating go 1-2 stars. My biggest problem was that the doctor who saw us didn't even ADDRESS BOTH ISSUES. We went in for a rash and a fever. She talked forever about the rash, saying it was probably eczema and proceeded to give us a steroid cream prescription. Then she left! I had to go into the hallway and ask a nurse there to get her back in because she didn't even talk about the fever. Came back in, said "oh it's probably just something viral, we've been seeing a lot of that this season with the flu. Oh! We could test for that, do you want to test for the flu?" I mean...you're the one with medical "expertise", right? Why are you asking me what we should test for? It made me question all the advice we were given and I basically had no confidence in any of the diagnosis she had given us. I've never had such a bad experience with a medical facility...I mean, to go so far that it made me question your knowledge and advice...what's the point of going to this clinic anymore? Don't go here. Save your time and money. Too many other clinics, even emergency facilities with better personnel. read more

I have been to Circle-C several times to see Dr. Souliotis. The Dr. is awesome and have no complaints about her or her staff. They are the best to trust in any situation. Now the front desk staff is another question. No one up at the front ever smiles, they all look like they hate their jobs. Very rude in telling you to sign in and then be hearded to where you need to go after standing there at the desk for 30 mins. I have always thought that if you don't like your job then get one you do like. These people look like a bunch of old mad, irritated people that could care less if you came in the building or not. If Circle-C had some happy, cheerful people up front, the visit would be much, much better. By the way, the only people I have see up front is women and they just need to not be so grouchy and find another job they like. read more

I was referred to this clinic based on a terrible experience with another. The wait time was really short. My visit with Dr. Souliotis far exceeded my expectations. She was thorough, kind, and gave me the opportunity to ask any questions I had. I left there with a crystal clear idea of what was going on and she was able to correct an issue that was caused by another doctor. I have been back since and I'm very pleased with the experience and the pleasant staff. I definitely recommend. read more
