This is an honest and professional company and I strongly encourage you to hire them. read more

I paid Austex $150 to check my sprinkler system coverage. A couple of weeks later I found that 4 or 5 heads were not coming up at all, causing dry spot on the lawn. They agreed to send another tech out a full week later (no urgency to correct the issue). The tech showed up almost an hour and half late with no call or message. I gave up after some time and had already left. No one from Austex called or followed up with me. I later asked for a refund but was refused by their management. After several emails they called and offered me something like $40 back. I would highly recommend trying someone else. read more

I highly recommend Austex Sprinklers - They are fast, highly professional, and very reasonably priced. They are now officially my go-to provider for sprinkler service and repair. Definitely recommend. read more

Joseph was great very professional and fixed some broken by replacing them and getting the whole system to work fine again. Great guy, highly recommended. read more

First rate. They gave me a bid straight up off of Yelp, sent a guy out on time who did the job well, behaved professionally, and charged what they promised. read more

Very responsive and showed up on time. They were very upfront with the price, what was needed, and why it was needed. Actually charged me less than the estimate. read more

Joseph from Austex Sprinklers came out to inspect and diagnose our home sprinkler system zones. The situation would end up requiring a licensed plumber for my issue (replacing the PRV), but he gave great guidance on what would be needed for that service and what to expect. He was patient and professional and I'll definitely be requesting him to come out the next time I schedule an Austex service. read more

We needed some repairs done after the freeze. They were quick, efficient and responsive! Highly recommend!

We had used Austex Sprinklers in the past. Having been extremely satisfied, we enlisted their assistance yet again. The technician arrived on time to assess the issue with the sprinkler head that we thought had broken. He spent a few minutes, cleared the head of built up muck and he no-charged us. What a treat and what professional service. read more

I had AustexSprinklers install a sprinkler system and there were some issues with the install. Phil reached out to hear my full complaint and was very understanding and sympathetic to my frustrations. They weren't able to address the main problem but was able to make things right. read more

Chris came to our home to provide us a quote for updating/replacing our outdoor lighting. Chris and the Austex office communicated with us extremely well. He was just here at lunchtime and I expect the quote soon. This was my second experience with Chris as he came out after we had a small leak in the irrigation system that Austex installed. Chris knew exactly how to fix it and showed me how to do it. It was very simple, but I did need guidance. read more

Professional service done in a timely manner and I would recommend this company to anyone.

We were referred to Austex by a local business because we were having a lot of issues in our new construction home with standing water in low spots in the back yard and between houses, inconsistent landscape irrigation, and gutter water that added to the problem. Our lead tech was Joseph, who did a fantastic job identifying the problem areas and making recommendations, which included installing a french drain system to carry away water from the low areas and gutter spouts. He showed us how our irrigation schedule was compounding our problems...too much water in some spots, not enough in others, water pouring into our neighbor's yard creating a muddy mess for them! Now in just a few short weeks our lawn has shown remarkable recovery, the animals aren't tracking a mess onto the porch and house, and we're using water much more effectively. We are very grateful to Austex Sprinklers and Joseph for all of their help, positive communication, and GREAT customer service. read more

Great service! We had some issues with our sprinkler system and it needed some tuning. The technician was on time, walked me through the issues and suggested solutions for each. Work was done within an hour and we're up and running again. Would recommend! read more

Ok here we go... install and removal of portion of old system was good. No issues there. What you would expect and pay for. The complete follow up through their technicians is where the customer service got really good! Two thumbs up. First I have to give kudos to Josh for the start and finish of my project. Tuned to perfection. I also have to give kudos to Joseph for his thorough walk through. Great job my man. Last but not least, Phil, honest fair pricing and way to go on building a great team! You have my full recommendation. read more

Great service from Austex and from Anthony in particular. Showed up on time, wearing a mask, and fixed our system quickly like a pro. Good communication and great overall service. Naturally they are a little busy so you probably won't get next-day service but they're worth the wait. read more

Joseph from Austex showed up right on time and did a Great Job. Got right to work and knocked out my problems.....Good man.....

Needed a sprinkler system installed on an existing lawn. Received a quote with several options to choose from. They completed the install in one day (10 zones) and left the yard immaculate. System works perfectly and the added options are saving me money on the water bill. Great job. read more

After 25+ years of home ownership across 3 different states, we FINALLY found a reliable, professional sprinkler repair company. Their technician, Josh, showed up early, then diagnosed and fixed our issues in just one hour. Seriously, before Josh showed up we thought our system would need to be replaced all together; he had everything completely fixed in a jiffy (at a very reasonable price) and assured us we were going to be just fine. Phew! (Thanks, Josh!) UPDATE: We asked AUSTEX back to fix some sprinkler heads and irrigation wiring that needed repair. Josh showed up again (early) and did a great job. He's happy to educate, too. Good dude. read more

I had Austex install new sod, and irrigation system and a french drain. Every person I interacted with was great. the crew(s) did a fantastic job. There was a couple of week delay to finish up, but this was no fault of Austex (delays in receiving materials from their supplier) and I was informed at every step of the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking their services read more

I originally met with Phil at my house to discuss a sprinkler installation. I had a reasonable quote back within a couple of days. I agreed to the terms and work was scheduled a few weeks out. Initially, everything started out okay. The crew worked from 7:30 to almost 9pm setting up 6 zones. Towards the end of the day, I went out to check on the crew and see if there were any updates. I was told they had a few things remaining and would be back out the next morning. By this time, they had put in all zones and setup the controller - the only thing missing were a few sprinkler heads. It was nighttime at this point and there was a thick layer of mud up and down the sidewalk, pizza boxes, receipts, spot flags littering the yard. The next morning, one guy showed up around 9:30am. He told me his neighbor wanted him to come over and put in some sprinkler heads. He said the crew had another job and wouldn't be out. He walked around the yard and put in a few heads and then left. I emailed Phil and asked if anyone was coming back. There was multiple holes uncovered in the backyard, the controller box had wiring exposed dangling from the garage, trash and tons of mud.. Not to mention, no one had mentioned anything about actually testing the system and making sure it worked. Phil responded by email that he was sure the 'crew' was out buying supplies at the store and would be back shortly. This 'crew' of one did return an hour later, and was just as confused as I was about how everything was setup and why no one bothered to test or cleanup after themselves. I can't remember his name, but he did a good job of at least finishing the controller box connections, setting up the zones and helping me test. We found multiple sprinkler heads missing still and he marked it down. He mentioned one the Austex leads would be out later that evening to do a final run thru - he should have the sprinkler heads to put in. Later that evening this person came and did a walkthrough. He put in the missing sprinkler heads and checked out the control box setup. He adjusted the sprinklers and we made sure everything was working. I mentioned my frustration about the exposed wiring, uncovered holes in the backyard and the trash and he kind of gaffed it off. He asked multiple times if everything was working as I expected. I mentioned, yes the system is working - but there was no cleanup and really not very good communication. He apologized and said he needed to run to another customer. Frustrated I made the final payment and went on my way cleaning up and filling holes. For a $4k sprinkler installation, the least you all could do is communicate more effectively and clean up after yourselves. read more

Ok, take this review with a grain of salt . I never dealt with Austex Sprinklers. But... I might have. Pretty good job, a couple of acres. I called three times, three days - no response. I think that is kind of lame. What happens when I have a problem. But hey - give them a call, you may get lucky. read more

Joseph was great - although I wasn't able to be there in person for my appointment, he was unphased. He worked quickly, provided an excellent explanation of what the problems were and how he addressed them. Thank you for being a reliable and responsive irrigation repair service! read more

Called to have some some sprinkler heads repositioned. Josh called and was able came out to my home earlier than appt time. Josh was able to cap one head and move another in a very short time. I asked if he could also do a maintenance look at the system while he was there and he was able to knock that out too even though I hadn't asked for that in my original call. Would definitely recommend this company. read more

Phil and his team were prompt and executed according to schedule. They helped me set up our wifi sprinkler system which is great. Would recommend. read more

They came out on 7/21 to repair leaks and zone 4-6 wire issues. They repaired 2 wires and 2 leaks and charge $195. I was happy with the service. On 8/31 same zone fails again..... I called and they come out again (different tech) this tech does not call, and just does the work. Same wire issue, but now company states is not part of the warranty and charges $155. I asked for them to call me to discuss..... nothing but silence. Will not use again, will not recommend. read more

Field Tech Anthony Figeuredo with AusTex Sprinklers did an awesome job for us today. My master valve was spraying water into the air this morning. I sent Mr. Thompson an Email asking for an emergency repair. His staff called almost immediately and confirmed an appointment for 4:30 PM. Anthony arrived two hours early, quickly diagnosed the problem and quickly repaired the master valve. This is not the first time Anthony Figeuredo has saved our bacon. He is always super friendly and helpful. THANK YOU! read more

They told me what I needed to rather than provide unnecessary repairs. Honesty is rare.

I had a very disappointing experience! After reading all the stellar reviews, I decided to schedule an inspection with them to get my sprinkler issues fixed and was given a 2 week lead time. I decided to go ahead and schedule the appointment over the phone- I also received an email about the appointment. However the day of the appointment, I called to get an ETA on what time the technician would be coming out and was told that I "was not in the system" (inspite of the email about the appointment getting sent to me previously). The lady on the phone then told me it would be another 2 weeks(!!) before someone could come out. I was'nt prepared for this and ended up scheduling an appointment with another vendor who was much more responsive and professional. Bottom line- this has soured my experience with Austex and they have lost a potential customer. read more

WONDERFUL BUSINESS!!!!! We had an awful, horrible sprinkler system that stressed me out, to the extreme, for 10 years and had massive catastrophic leaks over and over. I called a popular sprinkler company and they wanted to charge me almost 3 times what Austex Sprinklers charged us, and that was just for some upgrades with our existing system...Austex put in an entirely new system! Austex Sprinklers did an amazing job, in fact, you almost can't even tell they were here! I was expecting our yard to be destroyed since they were putting in a whole new sprinkler system, and they put everything back together so nicely! The sprinkler system has the latest technology and great coverage! The owner, Phil, is definitely a stand-up guy. We did have to pay a deposit up front...I was a bit nervous about that since I really didn't know the company at all, and I didn't see anything about anyone else in their reviews discussing the deposit. I went out on a leap of faith and paid the deposit which was 50% of the job, and they showed up promptly and on the day they said they would. We have a huge yard, and they finished the job in 1.5 days. Johnathan, Fernando and Ryan were very professional and knowledgeable. I feel like this is the first time I'm going to have a good night's sleep, now that I don't have to worry about the awful system we previously had. I would definitely recommend using Austex Sprinkler. Professional, reliable, kind, honest, hard-working, family-owned, excellent customer service!!! Thanks guys!!!!! Super, super happy!! Great company!!!!! read more

I contacted them after the rain we recently had. Water has been collecting of our sloped driveway for some time now. This recent rain finally prompted me to finally do something about it. I contacted Austex based on their tremendous positive reviews. I have to say now, I know why they all 5 stars, they deserve it! Contacted them through Yelp. They reached me back the next day by email and phone. Two other companies I contacted took longer. They were able to have someone come out the same week. Josh came out, on time at 8am, actually early by 10 minutes to look at our service needs. He instantly made us comfortable with his kind demeanor and expertise. They sent us a quote two days later. Offered us a work discount which helped us confirm the project through them. Scheduling the project was easy. Was able to get it going the following week. Josh and Anthony did a GREAT job installing a drain and routing pipe to defer water away from the driveway. They took meticulous care to make it look clean, seamless and like they were never there. Awesome! Josh called me the next day to make sure I was pleased with the work and install. I gave him the high praise he deserved and told him I would recommend them to anyone who could use their services! Great company. Great people. Highly recommend! read more

This was my first experience hiring a landscape crew. I could not be more happy with the entire process. The owner Phil came out to bid the job - he was very nice, informative and not pushy at all. The crew that did the work (Tim and Ian) were both super professional, friendly and took their time and did exactly what I wanted. I would recommend this company to anyone. read more

James showed up on time. Completed the job under the orig quote. He even showed me a couple of things I could do to save money later. James is a great and hard worker. If only the world had more people like my man James....Thank you James... AWESOME job bro! read more

I called last minute and they were able to schedule someone out right away. Great customer service with office staff. The tech Anthony came out and was so nice and very informative, he even discovered a leak we didn't even know about. Having a new home and never having a sprinkler system, both Jere' and Anthony made this a great experience and were very informative so I was prepared with no additional surprises. Great job and I will use them in the future. read more

At first there was some miscommunication between the office and the technician regarding the price offered. The technician was quick to call and sort everything out and at the end I received great service for a very reasonable price. I like when people really care about their customers. There's a reason most people rate this company 5 stars: because they deserve it. Anthony came out to my house and was a polite, knowledgeable young man. He listened as I told him the numerous problems I was having with my system. Together, we ran the different zones and discussed the problem spots. Some of the fixes were easy, like leaky sprayers and a broken irrigation pipe. Some of the fixes were more complex. Before I owned the house, a previous sprinkler company had put sprinkler heads and pipe junctions at the bases of two trees. As the trees grew, they grew over the sprinkler heads and broke them. Who would have seen that coming? Anthony brainstormed fixes for both problems, and was able to get my system up in better working order than it ever had been. And, the price was better than I expected. If I have any problems with my sprinkler system, I will definitely call Austex. read more

Austex is a great company to work with. I just had Alex come out to fix a couple issues with my irrigation system. Price was both reasonable and discussed before any work was performed. He showed up on time, with a reminder call prior to the appointment. Everything was done efficiently and with alacrity. A+ I tagged along Alex as he worked, and he was very helpful in explaining what he was doing and why he was doing it. I had a ton of questions, it was great being able to learn so much while the work was being done. It's hard to find someone with expert knowledge of their trade who's also great with customers. Alex has both, I'd 100% recommend Austex to anyone looking for a sprinkler company. read more

If you are considering this company in part due to high Yelp reviews, you should know that one way they get them is to offer "good faith discounts" for positive reviews. I hired Austex because I had several zones that were experiencing low pressure. The technician came out while I was at work and "fixed" the issue for a $200 valve replacement. When I came home I realized only one zone had been remedied, and there were still two additional zones that had not been fixed. Cost to finish the job: $200 more. Why the tech did not test ALL the zones the first time is beyond me. I was offered no discount or regrets that the job was not done properly to begin with. Had I known the total cost upfront I might have made a different decision. The system works better than it did before, so two stars. And I should have insisted on knowing the cost before agreeing to the work. However... The most insulting part was the "offer" to reduce the price (no doubt from some arbitrarily inflated rate) in exchange for a positive Yelp review. Shady. read more

I have to give Austex 1 star for a few reasons. First, their person who came out to gave me a quote was not very knowledgeable. I asked a question about underground drip line as opposed to above ground sprinklers. She said that she didn't recommend it because of some problems they've hard from other clients. I asked what kinds of problems and she didn't know. She said she had heard of problems with that kind of system even though her quote to me was to include underground drip lines as part of the install. I was also promised a quote within 48 hours that never came. Please don't waste my time spending 20-30 minutes giving me the sales pitch only to never send me a quote. What's worse is when I called to Austex to give them the opportunity to fix their customer service issues they failed again. The sales person didn't have a supervisor but the business manager promised to give my contact information to the owner to have them call me with a day or two. This of course never happened. Austex lost the opportunity for my business because their sales staff wasn't knowledgeable, never sent me a quote and their management does not prioritize customer service. I cannot reccommend Austex. read more
