I am here to tell you how pleased I am with the acrylic manicure that I received at Nails First. It was my good fortune to find Nina. Nina is a perfectionist. and she won't stop until both you and she are satisfied. I have had many manicures in my life, and I can say with great sincerity that this may be the best I have ever received. Nina's prices are about the same as everyone else in Mechanicsburg. I found a few more expensive. But I guarantee that no one will do a better job or be more committed to giving you exactly what you want. And the hours are great. First Nails is an appropriate name and I recommend you go there first! It is located on Main Street, Mechanicsburg, with parking in the rear. On street parking may also be available. Nina is a sweet, quiet, and focused girl who will not try to find out your life history. I feel very fortunate to have found her.

Only negative thing I have to say are the prices on fills and manicures change every time, I've paid between $50-$100 for very similar designs on fills. Often times I pay more for a quicker and less intricate design then I did last time, almost like they're pushing how much you'll pay. They never seem to have any regularity on the pricing but maybe that's for a reason I'm not sure of, I never do ask because I do think it's worth it no matter what.

Went to warn any nail technicians whether Vietnamese or American not to work for the salon. They are not the cleanest, area and professional. The staff are unpolite to the customers. I worked here for two days, payroll was due today the 1st of June 2025. The owner now states has to get with his accountant, doesn't have everything that he needs. Every excuse in the book. He has been provided all information that is necessary for 1099 employee. I have my own business I was not an internal employee I was a business contracted. The owner has told me to file with police and Labor board for my two days pay. Their are hardly any customers in this salon. I do not believe he has the funds to pay any employee. All are leaving , there is him, his wife, and her cousin. Then sometimes an older lady the mother of her cousin shows up to so pedicures. To be respectful I covered the children's faces in the images so that they could not be recognized and I reposted the images. Today, five months later I have received this message "Hi, you have been to Deluxe Nails in Mechanicsburg Pa while back. I was wondering if you would be kind to remove all the pictures that you have posted on yelp. I thought of you as a nice lady, I hope you can be in my shoes for a moment, I'm sure you would not like if people put pictures online about you without your permission. Thanks, God blesses you. " One of the reasons Yelp is a great website is because it allows people to see what businesses are really like without the owner's being able to purchase reviews or manipulate them. I will not be removing the pictures entirely as she requested. My review still stands, and in fact with this manipulative kind of message months later, it's sours what little respect I had for this business owner.
