The cabinets arrived exactly as described, and the stone fabrication was precise. There were a few minor hiccups with communication during the scheduling phase, but the final result is a beautiful, functional kitchen that didn't break the bank. I needed a kitchen refresh on the right timeline, and KZ Kitchen really delivered. Their stock availability is impressive--I was able to get my cabinets much faster than the 8-12 week lead times I was quoted elsewhere. The plywood construction feels sturdy, and the finish is clean. Shoutout to Vikki Wang for being straight to the point and helping me get my order processed quickly. If you want a 'no-fluff' experience that respects your schedule, this is the place.

After visiting this store, we were very impressed and satisfied with both the products and service. Their closet organizer systems offer great value, and the designer was experienced, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the process. We are very happy with both the final designs and the quality of the products. Highly recommended!

They also carry quality, "good-enough" budget options (for items like kitchen sink) and occasionally some very interesting wall tile designs. We got countertop slabs here - lots of selection, price was cheaper, and the main surface looked good. However, pattern continuity from main surface to the narrow side edge gets distorted with some batches, especially with patterns emphasizing stripes/veins. So pay attention to the side edge of their standard quartz slabs. We worked with Jaime, who is the best. We've probably been to East Star at least 20 times. Spacious parking lot, convenient location off 880, big bright showroom, and very reasonable prices.

Have to come here and downgrade my rating after the recent experience…read more I remodeled both the master bathroom and the guest bathroom, when I made the purchases, I made it for both and some items were not available during pick up. I was told that they would let me know once they have new inventory. This went on for 2 months and I got no calls. So I had to call them and found out that they did have incoming inventory but the sales person never made the call. Then when I went to pick up, the delivery department insisting an item was picked up while the order was circled from last time indicating it was not picked up. We had to go back, searched high and low with our contractors and confirmed that we never had the item. Then we went through the hassle of emailing and calling them to finally have their agreement to pick up the item. When I thought this is all done, the contractor discovered that a part was missing from the box and I had to call them again. Interestingly they don't seemed surprised. For more than the third time, I went to pick up that missing part and they had a standard form to sign. Probably means this happens a lot? So my advice is that pick up right away after you place the order, if they don't have the items available, cancel them immediately. Also, check every box at pick up to make sure what you have are good, but it can be hard if you don't know what to look for. So now to go over the whole journey and talk about the value of the shop, I'm not sure it's that top notch. Perhaps just focus on what you can buy immediately, pick up, check and leave will be the best value. If you can't get it right away there, leave and find somewhere else.

It was evident that he was a seasoned cabinet maker, as he was attentive and listened closely to my needs. He offered different options, without pressure and was patient as I made my decisions. The quote from KRD was far more reasonable than others, especially considering the cabinet doors were to be made from high-quality wood by an experienced professional. Paul explained the process, clarifying that he worked very closely with an experienced stone fabricator, plumber and electrician. I was a bit hesitant at first because there were so many moving parts, but was more than impressed with how seamless the communication was amongst them. Both Paul and the stone fabricator, Ishmael, reassured me that they would guide me through each step and answer any questions I might have. It took only one week from demo of my old tile countertop to move forward with installation of several new cabinet boxes, and a new stone countertop. After a few weeks, the last step was install of the new cabinet doors... Which were beautiful. Andrew and Luis worked tirelessly to mount the doors and facing. Their work was impeccable and they were extremely detailed oriented. I was very happy to see that they took their time, rather than rush through each step. They were respectful of me and my home, and I greatly appreciate that. I am extremely happy that I decided to go with Kitchen Reface Depot. I absolutely love my new kitchen. Paul spent time and effort to coordinate with my contractor to make sure everything went as planned. The end product was high quality and when something wasn't quite level, Paul didn't hesitate to have someone come back to fix it. He was very understanding of the level of detail that went into the style of kitchen that we were trying to achieve. Despite having to make several revisions to the configurations along the way, he was still very understanding and patient through it all and ultimately was able to accurately portray our vision of the end result by matching my design 1 for 1. He's also very knowledgeable in his expertise as he offered his opinions on my design and was quick to point out any flaws with it. He was also very thoughtful in a sense that he tried to correct my kitchen design to make it as safe as possible knowing that we have a little baby around the house. The quality of the cabinets is top notch superb. No damage during the receiving process. The fitment was outstanding. Our contractor was able to install everything with ease. Everything came out to be a perfect tight fit with no gap or sagging issues. We were very happy to have settled with the European style cabinets as they are a lot more customizable and easily modifiable to fit one's needs. Not to mention they also look much more aesthetically pleasing to the eyes especially with the walnut laminate panels. The sleek flat-faced look really adds to the simplicity and complements the rest of the kitchen theme of keeping it as minimalistic and modern as possible.

This store pretty much has all their vanities on display so you can see the different wood finishes and size options, which ones come with a sink and which ones have a separate sink. Since I was focused only on purchasing a vanity, I tried my best not to look at all the other products they carry, such as floor tiles, wood floors, bathroom tiles, shower fixtures, toilets, mirrors, shower doors, etc. So much to look at!! Richard helped me with my questions. He was knowledgeable and patient. He showed me comparable products around the floor then put my order together. Most items are in stock! That's great!! I couldn't believe the job they did at the price then. Even more surprising was the fact that they were always on time and delivered everything as stated. Jessica oversaw everything and even helped me select sinks and countertop styles in keeping with trends, and long term usability. That was 14 years ago. I now live in another town and have a kitchen that needed an overhaul, although not to the extent of the one in Fremont. I tried more local remodelers and experienced the same frustration as before: ghosting, over pricing, unclear terms, unreliable, 8 month wait times... I called Jessica and asked if she could redo my kitchen where I live. She came over and made an estimate the next day. I was so happy to be able to hire EB again! As before, she offered fantastic insight as to what elements to get, like this time it was quartz instead of granite, and a color and pattern that fit best with the palette of the house and floor. Anyway, they updated my kitchen: installed appliances, sinks, some new plumbing, new countertops, walls - all at a very reasonable price. Her team (a couple of whom were the same people as before) worked long hours and finished in only 5 days. We gave them a bonus at the end of the job for working so hard and competently.
