EXTREMELY frustrating experience with Tubz. Communication is poor, responses are slow or nonexistent and resolving my restocking fee issue is frustrating and unfair. My husband and I both asked and were told not to worry about a fee. Then we were hit with a $500 restocking fee! We canceled 1 product in a $13000 order. It is a non-custom product, we never even received the product, it was not opened or used and were never told about the fee. They now say they will split the $500 fee with us but, I think its really unfair to charge us without first informing us of the fee for a product we never even saw!! read more

But once you talk to a salesperson and let them know what your criteria are, they can steer you towards the area you want to focus on. We bought a tub from Tubz many years ago, and it's still in perfect shape today. Besides tubs, they also have a room dedicated to faucets (sink and shower). They have a huge selection, including high-end and mid-range. One of the main issue for me is that there are no prices listed. Price is a one of the major deciding factors when choosing a faucet, so this missing information was inconvenient. My wife and I had an amazing experience at Tubz while shopping for our bathroom remodel. Our bathroom was last updated in the 80s, and we wanted a modern makeover and to remove the tub and have a walk-in shower. We started by visiting the big box stores and those discount kitchen and bath places up and down the freeway, and those are okay, but the staff does not compare at all to this place. Tubz was recommended by a contractor we knew, so we made an appointment. We were greeted by the receptionist and then met with Jeremy. We shared what we wanted to do, and he took the time to ask us questions that we did not even consider while undertaking this remodel. He took us over to the showroom and went over things like faucet finish and the pros and cons of each. We learned of thermostatic valves and recommendations on overhead rain shower and the necessity to have a secondary high-pressure wand for women needing to wash out the soap in their hair. We were introduced to the bidets and these really cool 1-piece euro-style shower floors. My wife and I were then left to walk around to further explore the showroom and no pressure. Jeremy provided a quote for all the items we liked that evening. We bought it all and now have an amazing bathroom and could not have been more pleased with the experience. read more

I had a great experience at Tubz and was super glad I took a drive over from the Peninsula. I researched a bunch of different bathtub brands and models before deciding on which showroom to go to. There were many models I wanted to look at in person and I didnt want to drive all over to different showrooms. I called Tubz before taking a trip out there, to verify which models they had on the floor. The woman who answered the phone was very helpful and she took the time to go through my list of 10 bathtubs with me to tell me which ones they had on the floor. I think you will be hard pressed to find another showroom that carries the variety of tubs that Tubz in Fremont does. They had 8 out of 10 bathtub models i was interested in seeing on their showroom floor. While I was trying out various bathtubs, Jeremy (one of the owners) was extremely helpful in pointing out the various nuances of different tub options and providing input for consideration. His expertise helped me to quickly narrow down 8 tubs I was trying out to 2. He was very patient while I tried out the different models and helped me understand the differences between them. It is rare to find that level of customer service these days and I had a very positive experience. Hands down, I recommend Tubz if you're looking to try out a lot of different models and to get help picking the right one. The icing on the cake was that Tubz has Toto Washlet toilets in their restrooms that customers can use! I got to try the Toto Nexus toilet with the Washlet seat and all the functions. Have been to Tubz around 3 or 4 times and inside it's a cavernous place to see a wide variety of bathtubs, as well as see some sinks and faucet fixtures. Service has been very good every time with staff very knowledgeable. The tubs aren't cheap but they do have special deals and huge variety. Updating review to 1 star as they only allow you into their warehouse by appointment only. I had actually called prior to driving down but despite being open no one answered the phone so I went anyway. I drove 45 min to go and check out tubs in person but was turned away. I can understand to a certain degree but their warehouse is huge and pretty open air. Plus I am fully vaccinated and wearing a n95 and had told them I would take less than 10 minutes to just check out a few tubs for size. Super annoyed that I wasted my time. I would understand this if it was a small shop, but this warehouse is huge with super high ceilings. Oh well guess they don't need business... read more

I bought a tub shower glass from them. The package came with missing parts. I contacted Tubz and asked them to request missing parts to be sent to me. After more than two months of waiting I still haven't received the missing parts. Each time I follow up, they respond after a week and say that the manufacturer is mailing you the missing parts! read more

Extremely poorly run business; they don't deserve your money. We had our initial appointment with Jeremy (which went okay), and we tried to call and follow up to provide our payment information for the order but they literally don't have a phone number. You cannot reach anyone by phone, only email. We tried to email Jeremy over a period of 4 weeks (yes an entire month) to no response. We eventually ordered everything we could from a different store (they were not perfect either, but at least we could call them?), but we still had just two items that we still needed to order from Tubz. Eventually, I set up another appointment and went IN PERSON to provide my payment information due to the lack of response over email. It took them over an hour to transfer the two items from my old invoice and order them. We're now missing a small part with our order, and they are again impossible to reach. My bathroom remodel was done three years ago and all my bath hardware was purchased at Tubz. Last week a part broke in the shower handle. I was able to order the part on Monday and picked it up on Friday for installation. The plumber tried to install it but it didn't seem to work. I called Tubz and spoke with Jeremy Sanchez who was able to identify the possible problem. First he forward the installation kit that had the schematic so as my son had the part in his hand -Jeremy was explaining how the part works. Jeremy then went beyond the call of duty by agreeing to meet my son and make sure the part was not defective and to ensure it was ready/able to be installed successfully. Note: Jeremy was so accommodating because I needed the shower to work because I had just had hip surgery and that was the only shower I can use. With Jeremy's expertise and kindness- my son was able to install it and did not have to wait another day for the plumber. We found Tubz & were astonished at the amount of inventory of every shape and manufacture you could ask for. We also found Scott who knows everything about tubs and was very helpful in addressing our wishes & wants. As name suggests, they carry variety of bath tubs. They also have toilets, vanity mirror, shower accessories and other bathroom remodel related supplies. Staff is helpful in suggesting things. Price even after discount is on higher side. I will suggest to start your bathroom remodeling related search with this place. Ps. You need to take appointments to visit showroom. Appointments can be taken online. Generally, they are booked week in advance. So plan accordingly. Each appointment is only for 50 mins which according to my experience is not enough. They have only 4 staff to assist your purchase. They are not open weekends and hours are similar to office hours which are not convenient for any working person. When renovating my bathroom, my contractor received the wrong bathtub and informed me that there was a nationwide shortage and he did not know when the tub I wanted could be acquired. So, after hours of my own research, I can across Tubz and made an appointment. Because of my work schedule, Gerardo was incredibly accommodating and worked with me by phone and email during my appointment. He found the perfect tub at the end of his workday, and worked over his usual hours to ensure my contractor had it by early the next morning. I did not want to wait 2-3 weeks and called around local stores trying to see if they would potentially price match. Tubz was a great place to see and climb in to experience an incredibly large variety of bathtubs in-person. Check out all of your bathroom items in-person and then go work with someone else after spec'ing them out. We purchased a standalone tub and tub filler, bathroom sink and faucet, and toilet from Tubz. We worked with Scott Spicer who was nice and professional in-person. It's their team's followup afterwards that leaves you in an inconvenient lurch when you're in the middle of a renovation and need their items. After confirmation via email so everything was in writing, we still received the wrong items and experienced several delays and unprofessional delivery services afterwards. The discount we received for the items, was not enough to make up for the time and effort we had to spend to follow up with Scott, Tubz warehouse, and the delivery service they worked with to send us the items. We've had to email and call every other week for the past 2 months to get information and push things along. No other vendor or supplier has required this much hand holding. Out of all the vendors and suppliers we worked with to have a roof replaced, renovate a kitchen, bathroom, paint a house, landscape a yard, and update a sprinkler system - it was Tubz who came out on bottom and gave us the most trouble. I would go lower if I could to 0 stars. The appointment system is a joke. But the worst part was I picked out a tub for my 80 year old mother. The salesman not only wrote me up for the wrong tub, but while he was writing up the correct invoice, I looked up the tub online and found he was charging me double, $1000 floor model, for the same tub I could get new for $500 on Build.com or Lowes! I had already explained my mother was on Social Security and tight on money. What kind of creep rips off an 80 year old woman for $500? I'll never go back. read more

Really poor service so far. Initially spoke with someone Scott. We changed the size we needed and then wanted to move forward--and then the fun began. Attempted contacts once, twice, three times. Emails, calls--no returned call at all. Literally nothing. Then called on the Friday of the same week and was told "He's really busy, and then our work day ends, etc." Very frustrating as AQUATICS tubs are only at a few distributors. I will try one more time, but reading other review of similar service issues, have to wonder why this happens. Also makes me nervous that the representations about delivery and product will not be true. UPDATE: Placed the last call at 230PM. She said she would check with Scott and get right back to me. Almost an hour later, nothing. This after me calling and politely telling her we had been blown off. I will note that vendors in this day and age should also be conscious that when customers are treated badly, one thing that comes to mind is why? Was it my last name (foreign), was it my ethnicity, was it they assumed we were not serious--or is it simply just poor training. We purchased a bathtub from Tubz many years ago and had a nice experience. We so appreciated the items on display to be able to see in person. However, we revisited the showroom for our latest remodel and the experience has been very frustrating. The sales person, Scott, was helpful while we were at the showroom, but the customer service post taking our $8800 has been extremely disappointing. It's next to impossible to get information on delivery of items. Lead times came and went, emails and voicemails went unanswered. Damaged products not dealt with. They have free unlimited popcorn, coffee, cookies and snacks for you to much on while you are shopping around for tubs!! What a diffrence 2 years makes. I previously wrote an extensive 0 star review on Tubz and the owner Tom. Inexcusable horrible customer service. I just delited the review because I do not think it's fair that the current regime be held acocuntable for the old. I recently went to Tubz to simply use them to find out what model tub I wanted and then go elsewhere to order it. They do have the biggest showroom around. It was very difficult for me to walk in taking into consideration how I had been treated in 2015 by Tom. I was contacted by Brandi a very polite, knowledgeble and personable sales rep. She was extremely pleasant to talk with and went beyond helping me to choose a tub that would be right for my wants, needs and budget. After I selected the tub we went back to her desk where she provided me with all the information on the product. I had what I came for but she was so professional and honest that I told her what my mission was in coming in. I told her about the review which she was very aware of. She apologized for the treatment I had received and called Jeremy over, the GM. He too knew about my review and stated he was not present when it occurred but was aware of it and actually had investigated what had happened. He provided me with information that I was not aware of and stated that I had not received the treatment I should have. Jeremy made the wrong right and asked for nothing in return. My opinion has changed based on the new way that Tubz is being managed and their sales staff. I will definately return and refer. Tubz is a great place to buy a bathtub. The staff was knowledgeable, nice, friendly, and willing to help. They have an excellent selection of tubs and have an excellent showroom. They have excellent prices and are willing to negotiate, if you buy a lot of items. The down side? I find that they were really slow. Because so many people go to Tubz, you can wait a long time before your number is called. Also, the process of paying for the items seemed extremely long. I was there for almost two hours! Overall, there is no better place to go if you need a new bathtub, but be prepared to spend a lot of time there. read more

I'm currently doing a renovation, and needed a tub ASAP as everywhere else need 2weeks lead time to order. My contractor told me to come here as they have a very large selection. I went there during lunch time and it wasn't very busy. The show room is very large and have different styes of tubs and toilets. I told the sales person the size I needed and he showed me a few tubs that fits in that category. He was very honest about the brands and quality of the tubs and I actually went with the first tub he recommended which is a Maax brand. I'm not so sure about their prices, but since I needed on right away, I was willing to pay a higher price. I was in and out in 40min and my contractor was able to pick it up the second day. read more
