CB Showers was hired to build a custom shower door for an oversized shower in 2019. Spent close to $5K. A little over a year later, the plastic is coming off and there is a significant leak towards the back of the shower (hard to check since the water doesn't reach that far back). Discovered only when spraying down the glass with a hand shower. Tried calling them to come out and fix it. They sent someone who said this is clearly an installation problem. The lady on the phone made it clear (not once but several times that I would need to pay $200 to fix this). I asked to speak to the owner. No response for 3 weeks. Finally called back with a terrible attitude. His final words "if you are not happy with the quality then too bad..." Pretty sad to see them not stand behind the work performed. I am remodeling two other bathrooms now and guess who I will NOT be getting shower doors from - CB Showers!! CB did an Ok job. a few details - caulking and smudges but ok job. the glass looks really nice. the towel racks were installed to satisfaction. however, we just had a nice toilet/bidet installed- I noticed someone had used it. which for the most part I'm fine with it. would have been better to ask. but my wife said she went down to clean and they had urinated all over the seat... not ok. we also asked them to measure for some cabinet glass that day- never got a quote. but after cleaning up - were ok with not having them come back. read more

This company completed a repair for me under its previous name. The repair held up for about 18 months, but recently the SAME problem came back. I called, and referenced the receipt and proof that they had done the work. They said something about that work being completed "before they bought the company"... We have a glass half door installed by CB Showers when they were owned by a prior owner. The installation and service by that person was outstanding. We also had some glass mirrors installed by the same CB Showers under the same owner. The service was impeccable. The prices were reasonable. The owner was very accommodating. Then the company was purchased by the current owners..... We asked them to come out to adjust the shower door installed by the prior owner. They came out. The were on time. The representative was very polite and professional. However, the slanting door problem was not resolved. The strip on the bottom of the glass to prevent water escape was too short. The water drips onto the bathroom floor in the corner. We were charged $150 for the call plus an hour's labor. I recently walked into the CB Showers store to get a proper strip. I was sold a strip that will not fit onto the bottom of the door. I also asked about adhering a mirror to the back of a bedroom door. We changed our interior doors. We need the mirror reinstalled on our new door. I was told that CB Showers will not reinstall the mirror. I also asked about purchasing some beveled trim for a mirrored wall 10 1/2 feet by 8 feet. I was quoted $1,200. Personally, I think the price is exorbitant. read more

We chose CB for 2 reasons: 1. Yelp reviews indicated that they followed through if there are problems (ironic) and 2. They were the only glass store that said they would not take our job unless we used a header (too much shower glass for free standing). We were disappointed that we couldn't do it without a header, but we decided to trust them. Good decision! The bad news was that the glass came scratched 3 times (the first time they had not checked at the store and the guys lugged in a 200 lb. piece of glass - then promptly turned around and took it out!). The 3rd time everything but the door was fine. 4th try and the door was perfect. We love the showers (they did 2) and we received a discount for our time and trouble. The installers chipped our new bathtuib while installing the glass, and the company paid for an excellent repair. Wonderful customer service. I recommend them despite the long process we had because they know their business and they care about their customers. We still have a squeaky door, but if that doesn't work itself out, I know they will come out and fix it. read more

Recently had a frameless shower door done by CB shower. From installation to measurement, their crew was very professional. Unfortunately I have 2 minor issues. One was a leakage due to the vinyl strip being cut 1/8 inch too short. Contacted CB shower and they sent someone to take care of it. The other issue was the shower door did not align correctly when it is closed. The owner, Telly the owner, came out to look at it and found the door was buckled due to temperament. He fought hard with his glass vendor in getting a replacement door but they won't because it is within industry standard. Telly being a great guy decided to take care of that because he cared about how his customer feel. I guess even though I do not have the smoothest experience but in the end CB shower does care about their customer and that deserves 5 stars read more

CB Showers makes a good product and installs it well with one fundamental flaw. Taking down the old shower exposes dirt, screw holes, missing grout and possibly cracked tiles. CB showers does little to fix these imperfections, installing the new shower right on top. CB Showers recommends using Prostone Services to perform clean up preinstallation. I did this. Prostone performed clean up only on what was accessible with the old shower in place. They did not take the old shower down and perform clean up underneath because they assumed CB Showers would do this. So what is the solution? You need to have someone come in and take down the old shower and fix the resulting imperfections before CB Showers arrives. This probably means you can't use the old shower in the intervening period. I am sure this issue has come up time after time, so it is a shame that CB Showers does not do a better job of advising customers what to do in advance, or better still partner with someone to come up with a one-stop coordinated service of installing the shower and fixing imperfections exposed by taking down the old shower. read more

As it turns out, they HAD replied as promised with a new quote - but to a different number than mine, possibly a miscommunication between CB and my son. These guys are first rate. From our first appointment to the install, they were clean, fast, and on time. The finished product not only looked great, but they also stand behind their product. I noticed two scratches in one of the panels after they left. The scratch was not immediately noticable, but could be seen when the lights were on. They first tried to polish out the scratch and when that didn't completely resolve the problem, they replaced the panel. CB Showers was an awesome experience! I actually got estimates from 4 contractors and CB Showers came in most competitive. Usually there is some degree of risk with selecting the most competitive price, but CB Showers definitely came and delivered on an excellent installation. My tile install wasn't great either because there was some bowing on the walls. It was an issue all of the estimators noticed, but only the CB Showers guy gave me a good solution that didn't require any compromise on the shower door I wanted installed. Great A++++ service!
