I would rather be told, "Sorry, we can't do a design," than to walk away with my toes looking like this, $51 (plus tip) later, for a job I could've done better myself. They didn't have any designs to choose from, and they said people usually just bring their own pictures. I chose a fairly simple-looking flower design that I found online. Maybe this place should consider practicing some designs and having those available to choose from, rather than just 'winging it'. It was a pretty disappointing experience that wasn't worth the money.

I sat in the foot spa and put my foot in lukewarm water. I look down and there is polish all over my shirt... and I later found out the same happened to my mom and she was googling how to get it out the whole time. I ask the tech for some acetone but she didn't understand and just stared at me. She barely scrubbed my feet (mind you I'm on my feet 40-50 hrs a week... so they're crusty) and rushed to get to the polishing part. I asked for gel. She put the polish on and put the lamp over it... and it falls and knocks into the polish several times on several layers. Once everything was done, she didn't put my flip flops on but instead threw them on the ground and walked away to her next customer. I won't be back.

Definitely pays to get here early on a Saturday! I didn't have an appointment, but I arrived around…read more10:00 AM and they weren't very busy yet, so I was taken care of right away. I originally planned on just getting a pedicure but ended up getting a manicure too. I usually like gel because I think it looks better, but I don't love the effects gel has on my nails, so I decided to go with regular polish this time. One thing I really appreciated is that they didn't make me feel bad or try to convince me to get gel, which some nail shops tend to do. I started with my pedicure. The chair was comfortable and had a massage remote, so of course I took advantage of that! The older lady who did my nails was really nice. I didn't catch her name. I had some leftover gel from a previous manicure that needed to be drilled off, and it did hurt a little when she got close to the edges. I really wanted a burnt orange color and found one I liked in the regular polish. Unfortunately, the polish was pretty thick, so she had to thin it out. At first, I was nervous about how everything would turn out, but after she worked with the polish, it looked much better. The shop itself is pretty basic not fancy or anything. After my pedicure, the same lady did my manicure. She had a pretty gentle touch, which I appreciated. I asked for a squoval shape, although I think she may have understood oval instead. I decided to use the same color on my nails since she had already worked on the consistency of the polish. It was better, but she still had to keep thinning it out as she painted. I did notice a few spots that looked like they may have been missed, but honestly, I was ready to go and didn't want to make a big fuss about it. I had to sit under the dryer for about 15 minutes, and that area wasn't the most comfortable, so I was definitely getting a little antsy. By then, the shop had gotten much busier and louder. The total for a regular polish manicure and pedicure was $65. I paid by card, so it came out to around $67, plus my tip. I'm not sure if I'll come back, but I will definitely remember that this is a place where I can get regular polish without feeling pressured or judged for skipping gel. And honestly, that alone is something I appreciate! One thing: my reg polish mani didn't last long, only like a couple days...so I'll probably never do that again!
