Best pretzels love the cinnamon nuggets. My pretzels are always warm. They keep making fresh ones often.

As I was buying my sausages. soft pretzels, and potato salad, the lady said very little to me and the gentleman, nothing at all. When I tried speaking German, the lady said she didn't remember much of the language anymore. This blunt, "tell it like it is" way of interacting is pretty much how my family used to be, so I found it familiar -- even comforting. But it's easy to see how this can rub people the wrong way, especially if they're used to American (or even modern German) - style customer service. Everyone who found this rude is making reasonable statements. But to me this is more a case of people who have been doing the same thing for a long time without making updates. Decor-wise, place also seems to recreating the Germany that someone remembers from decades ago. The blue and white bunting, the beer steins, the picture of the Pope and other memorabilia make the place feel distinctly Bavarian, in a touristy way. A lot of places in Germany, even in the more traditional south have moved on. But my hope is that this place does continue until the proprietors retire with dignity or sell the business to some German-Americans with a passion for prepping and selling this type of food.

I'm not sure if this is her normal behavior but if you wanted to be treated nicely when going to a place you don't know... this isn't for you. My first time here and service is disappointing & all she did was take my order. But if you wanna try the food buckle up cause she isn't a sweet old lady. Sorry that I didn't know how you specifically want someone to order. She CAN be nicer to her people. I'm actually watching her be nice right now. The man just told someone a price for something and the lady came rang her up and charged her more. I don't know, maybe honor the first price cause that's pretty messed. The person questioned the lady about the pricing the man gave her but she just said NO. And wouldn't budge.

Found this place after a long day of shopping and it did not disappoint! It's a pretty large…read morerestaurant with different rooms- great for large parties too! The bar area had a ton of tvs showing sports and people were having a lot of fun watching. Service was great and they were super attentive throughout our whole meal. We ordered an appetizer, salad, and burger for two of us and we weren't able to finish all our food. The portions were humongous and definitely worth your money. Their beers are also HUGE and my husband loved the ale he ordered. Can't wait to come back!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel others…read moreshould be aware. My husband called in a simple pickup order -- just nachos . When he arrived to pick it up, he waited 40 minutes before being told anything. After checking with the concierge, the manager (Tiffany) came out and informed him that they had forgotten to make the order entirely. Another 15-20 minutes passed before he finally received the food. All told, he spent close to an hour waiting for a pickup order that should have taken a fraction of that time. What made this worse was the lack of customer service afterward. The manager did not come back out to apologize, did not offer any kind of discount or compensation, and did not acknowledge the inconvenience at all. Mistakes happen -- forgetting an order is one thing -- but how you handle it matters. In this case, there was no effort made to make things right. For a paying customer who placed a pickup order in advance, this level of service was unacceptable. Good customer service isn't about never making mistakes; it's about how you handle them. Unfortunately, in this case, Heroes showed very little regard for a paying customer's time. I hope management sees this and takes a hard look at how customers are treated when things go wrong.

I recently just planned my husband's birthday party at the Axe Lair in Upland, and I was looking…read morefor a place to eat and drink close by and found Rescue Brewery directly across the street! We had about 26 people, and I was so concerned that I wouldn't be able to find a place that could seat us all on a Saturday evening. I emailed with Alex, the taproom manager, a little less than 2 weeks before the date I wanted, and she told me that they would be able to accommodate us! I was so incredibly relieved! After our axe throwing, we walked the VERY short walk across the street, and Alex and her staff had our tables ready to go for everyone! They made our huge group feel so welcomed and taken care of from the moment we got there! Alex explained to us that the food and drinks are ordered at the registers, which made it so easy and convenient for everyone to not have to worry about doing separate checks for a big group (that can get confusing and messy sometimes). The beers, seltzers, and food were all incredible!!! Even the most particular people in our group raved about how good everything was, and trust me when I say, that is a high compliment! The staff were absolutely incredible as well! They were so knowledgeable about the beers, so patient with our big group, and were just so helpful and kind! Everyone is still talking about how great everything was, and I'm truly so grateful to Alex and the rest of the staff at Rescue Brewing for making my husband's birthday so amazing!! We appreciate you all so much, and we can't wait to come back soon!

I must say, the brewery really stands out with their bright and appealing logo out front. When we went in, the place was packed, but we were able to find a table for the four of us. To our surprise, they didn't just have a huge beer selection--they also offered a large variety of seltzers and cocktails for anyone who wasn't in the mood for beer. I decided to try the Tart of War, and my taste buds were in for a pleasant surprise. This sour beer had delicious notes of strawberry, pineapple, coconut, and vanilla. The brewery had a lot of TVs, which was perfect because I was able to catch the Lakers game that night. The bartenders were super friendly and worked efficiently, even with such a large crowd. The 90's alternative rock playing in the background had all of us nodding along. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. They also seem to have a happy hour on Wednesdays from 6-9 PM with food and drink specials, which is definitely worth checking out.

Mine only came out to about $13 for a 12oz, when I was expecting $25 (maybe I'm just used to cocktail pricing haha) It was extremely busy on a Friday night, but there was still a few empty seats! Atmosphere was lively, warm, and relaxing. There was also a taco truck the day we went Though not sure why so many people brought their kids... or how they got past security LOL
