Never have any pretzels. Always a 10 min wait, which is more like 20 because they do not want to make pretzels.

You think they would have pretzels - not going to wait 40 mins until you make more - especially at an airport

Let's talk about it…read more First time visiting Jack in the Box, fresh off the plane in Houston and ready to see what the hype's about. Spoiler alert: there isn't much. We ordered the Bacon Double Smashed Jack Burger, and let me tell you -- it looked like the love child of a Burger King Whopper and a Wendy's Double Stack... just without the flavor. It was all meat, no magic. Thick patties, lots of bite, but zero seasoning. It was really hitting on nothing. Now let's talk about the curly fries -- they were extra crispy in the way that says "we forgot about these in the fryer." They tasted like they wanted to be Arby's fries, but got left behind in the group chat. Dry, overcooked, and aggressively forgettable. And then -- the tacos. Oh man. Easily the worst thing I've eaten in the past year. Greasy, soggy, and barely holding together, like someone dared to deep fry a disappointment. Taco Bell's basic crunchy taco would sweep these in a street fight. The vibe inside? Funny enough, it looked like an old school Taco Bell that never got the renovation memo. Dim lights, weird energy, and not a lot of love. Final rating: 4 out of 10. Would I come back? Probably not -- unless I lose a bet or all the other fast food joints are closed. Catch me somewhere else next time -- this one's getting a hard pass.

It's a little slow for a fast food restaurant, but overall the food was good. Had a great burger.read more

Their Chocolate shake wasn't too bad, but also didn't taste any different from shakes I had in the past, nor was my friend's burger, which I took a bite of, anything spectacular either. I felt a little ballsy and ordered an item from the secret menu: Animal-Styled fries, which consisted of American-melted cheese, grilled onions, and Thousand Island sauce. While the toppings sounded appealing, I was extremely let down by the fries; they weren't crispy at all, and they didn't have any salt. Their grilled onions were my favorite, but that's me being generous since nothing else was delivering. I also wish their cheese were more melted, since it made the fries a bit difficult to scoop. Overall, In-N-Out wasn't atrocious, but plain and overhyped best describes it. I am glad I gave it a try.

I wanted to start with one biscuit, but the biscuits come in pairs. The waitress said I could order just one anyway, but the order ended up being two. I meant to save the second one for breakfast, but that was not to be. It did not survive long enough to make it out the door. My actual meal was a bacon swiss and mushroom burger, which was excellent. Between the biscuits and the burger, I am forced to acknowledge that it was entirely too much food. Sadly, that did not prevent me from eating all of it anyway. Delicious! The restaurant, which is a diner with very basic decor, is on an approach road to IAH, and is open 24/7. When I arrived in the evening, the place was empty. By the time I left, there were a whole bunch of customers. I noticed in other reviews that people were saying they did not receive checks for their meal and felt they were over-charged at the register. I did not receive a check either, but the amount I was charged at the register seemed accurate -- and I was paying attention because I had read the other reviews first.
