I posted this on google but conveniently my review doesnt show up for other people so here it is again. I was here last week shopping for my daughters birthday and we decided to get something to eat while we were there. I have been to other auntie annes locations in chicago and generally have had a good experience. This time however, when we were waiting in line to get our food an employee walked to the back and as the door swung open we saw the machine they make their dough in literally sitting on the ground near what looked like their bathroom? I was genuinely disgusted to think there is any reason why the place they make the food would be on the floor let alone right in front of a bathroom. Me and my daughter immediately felt disgusted and did not want to eat there anymore. I tried to get a picture but there was too many people and the door didn't stay open long enough to get a clear one. I am frankly shocked that whoever is running this place thinks it is okay to do that. I have told many of my friends about this and they have also shared some of their own experiences with this location specifically, one even saying they saw roaches in the store!!? After what I saw I really am not shocked and I have told people to never go here nor will I ever be returning. I sincerely hope there is a change of management or something to clean up that store. read more

I am writing this right after I left because I am so angry right now. I went in at 12:45 pm, almost 2 hours after they had opened. I had asked for pepperoni pretzel bites and the girl responded to me saying they weren't available. They are still available and advertised on the menu? Not only were they not available but she did not offer an alternative or explanation or apology. Not a big deal, so I said Okay I'll just take the plain pretzel bites. I am now back at my car with an unsalted cold plain FULL pretzel. The exact opposite of what I had asked. Super pissed off and disappointed. read more

Service has gone WAY down. They close much earlier than advertised and staff is unhelpful when they manage to show up for work. I've come 2 different times on different days and the lights are out, all pretzels gone. One day there was staff to say they were out of everything. Oh boy, do I ever love Auntie Anne's Pretzels. Every morning, I eat a bowl of oatmeal (maple and brown sugar) and a half grapefruit. This serves me well through a couple of morning cartoons and a full episode of The Price is Right (It was better when Bob Barker was on. That man is a true humanitarian, always making sure that the animals get spayed and neutered while simultaneously impregnating many of his beauties (the models -- not the pets, though I suppose some pets get treated like models, and some models get treated like pets). Right about at the time where the second showcase is getting shown, my stomach starts to growl and I know it's time to hop on the Touhy bus and ride on down to Auntie Anne's Pretzels on the lower level in the Lincolnwood Shopping Center. There are many other restaurants in the Lincolnwood Shopping Center, but none that can supply a lunch of the caliber of Auntie Anne's pretzels. Now, if you're unfamiliar with a pretzel, it's pretty much just bread that is rolled up and then covered in salt, or sugar, or cinnamon, or anything that you can imagine, but then it gets exciting. You see, they take these rolls and then shape them into a million different varieties! You can get pretzels as rods, and sticks, and combos, and nubs, and you can even get them in pretzel shape, but my favorite are Auntie Anne's PretzelDogs. So, pretzels are great, right? But wait! Look now! Auntie Anne went and made it better by wrapping her pretzel around a hot dog! The best of both worlds! I mean, I like hotdogs as much as the next guy, but this is a hotdog that is lovingly encased in a pretzel, and this is a pretzel that is passionately grasping onto and around a hot dog! I would cuddle with it all night long if I weren't so hungry. Now, anybody can make a pretzel with proper training, but not everybody can make a pretzel as well as Auntie Anne. What Auntie Anne does is special, so stop in and see her whenever you're at the Lincolnwood Shopping Center trying on many different styles of pants at the OLD NAVY or getting your ears pierced. Also, for the sake of the validity of this review, I would like to make it known that I am not related to Auntie Anne. My aunt's name is Regina, or aunt Gigi as we affectionately call her. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever had Aunt Gigi's pretzels (though she does make incredible deviled eggs), but if I do, I'll be certain to write a review! read more

Ahhhh, Auntie Anne's. My absolute bane of the mall. I happened to have worked at this exact location as my very first job while struggling through Art School, and given this company holds the utmost regard to sanitation and fresh products, I will continue to visit every single Auntie Anne's if ever I happen to step into a *cringe* mall. Having worked in this particular mall (Lincolnwood Town Center), mixed memories flood into my cerebral cortex (much like Robin Sherbatsky's complex), but I will always have a warm, fuzzy feeling whenever I hear the name "Auntie Anne's". Having being privileged to work here back in the mid-to-late 90's, I've tried all they have to offer as well as gain an excess of 50lbs in empty calories, no joke! Fortunately, I've been able to shed most of those pounds since then! My favorite will always be the classic Salted Pretzel with cheese sauce. You can't go wring with the original classic, American staple. As long as there's an Auntie Anne's, who is a real person by the way, I'll always be lining that rich Amish chick's pockets with my own moola! read more

Was in the mall window shopping, when we wanted a snack. I hardly ever get anymore Auntie Anne's because when I frequent my favorite mall, the line is always super long. This time around, only one patron in line. So we decided on getting the pretzel dog, which were 2 for $5. Sure, why not, I hadn't had one of those in some time... The hot dog was Nathan's, which the bf claimed were outstanding hot dogs. Okay, I believe you. They were pretty plump, juice, and were a little longer than the pretzel that it was encased in. Ooh, the pretzel was delicious. It had a great consistency, of a slightly crispy outside, but with a super soft interior. Just right amount of salt, and wasn't super thick dough. If you are bored with Taco Bell or bugers, here is an alternative to a quick bite. read more

This Auntie Anne's never has pepperoni bites or pretzels. We have gone 6 times and they never have the pepperoni bites. Today my boyfriend waited 25 minutes to get his pepperoni bites. If they don't make them at this location they should put a sign or change the menu but treating customers rudely for asking for something that is being advertised is not cool. read more
