I've had the pie and coffee before and loved. But the other items are new. I'll start with the McLovin: it's incredible! All the flavors work together nicely. The buttermilk biscuit is nice and fluffy and the sausage is well seasoned and egg was cooked to perfection with some melty cheese! The PB Cup in and blanket was yummy too! A stagger advised I heat it ijnthe microwave for 10 seconds and it was so gooey! The Oreo in a Blanket was also great! I really enjoy Bakeshop and I'm so glad I live really close to one! In terms of drinks, I tried the lavender latte and the tiramisu latte which were delicious and served me well when I needed an evening pick-me-up. On separate occasions, I ended up sampling a variety of flavors, including birthday cake, hazelnut pistachio, Earl Grey, coconut, rose, blueberry lavender, and coffee. I truly appreciated how fresh and light each taste was, perfectly reflecting the artistry in the making of these macarons. The service was efficient and friendly, and the display case was a feast for the eyes--full of stunning, mouthwatering desserts. I hope everyone has as wonderful an experience as I did, enjoying both the coffee and the patisserie. Happy desserting to all!

We were craving something sweet and dessert-like and many options were available here. The cherry pistachio cake and pecan rose bun were appealing and beautifully presented so we went for them. But how they actually turned out was a different matter. They tasted just fine but were incredibly dry. We were disappointed. I was curious about one thing, and that is if you're allowed to carry open containers of alcohol beverages in public places in Clarendon. I saw a sign just outside Tatte that said you had to walk in the crosswalk if you had alcohol.

I also realize that my own sensitivity to sweetness is biased, so I won't critique the Habibi latte so harshly. Primary issue with the AI signage remains. Will be back in soon; still very much recommend Detour to others!* Stopped in while running some morning errands after realizing I forgot to eat breakfast; have been a few times previously, first time I decided to review. The food was honestly solid. Ordered the Magician breakfast sandwich as well as the Habibi Latte. The Magician was solid; balanced and hearty without being too dense; the pupusa bun is an intriguing touch; suppose the name "magician" refers to how quickly it disappears, but I could be wrong, haha! The Habibi latte was decent; a little too heavy on the ice, but the flavor profile including dates, cinnamon and cardamom was robust, and evoked the flavors of a Yemeni coffee shop. My biggest issue, one that warrant a full two stars off, is the ambiance. Namely the furnishings as well as the use of AI . While most of the dining room is eclectic and inviting, the furniture, namely the chairs and benches, are deteriorating and visibly withering. I forgot to take a photo, but imaging leather chairs and vinyl seat cushions scaling, chipping and disintegrating beneath you. Past reviews going back a couple years have pointed this out with increasing frequency; I highly encourage the ownership to take notice of this. Moreover, there are a number of visually-obvious AI generated posters throughout the shop, and that also seems to indicate a level of increasing carelessness as well. Overall, not bad, but I am worried about the trajectory of the shop from the lack of investment in dining room infrastructure and promotional materials.
