My favorite pizza in the area- hands down. Wonderful salads and pasta dishes too a full bar. Warm, friendly staff. Beautiful setting- exposed brick, soft lighting. Simply the best.

We had a great time here! We walked in on a Friday night and were seated right away. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with an impressively large pizza oven. Our server, John, was great the whole night and never broke a sweat despite the place being packed. We enjoyed our food and particularly liked the gnocchi! The drinks were delicious as well. Very happy to have such a nice restaurant so close to us!

This place is a GEM!!! We saw it on our way to another spot and had to stop. It smelled so good and the atmosphere was perfect. Moody Low lighting, with the flames of the over lighting up the back of the restaurant. The bread they give you as a starter is already amazing! Baked fresh you see the server cut it up right before serving it to you. The pizza itself was literally perfection. The taste was perfectly balanced between the cheese and the prosciutto. The truffles oil was just enough to coat your mouth but not over power. I'm still dreaming about this pizza!!!! The servers are very nice and even though we stayed till close we didn't feel rushed at all. We actually had to ask for the check. Felt just like being in Europe. Definitely try this place!!!

The food is delicious! This is a great place for a date night or family dinner. The staff is very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations.

Hard to find authentic Italian food better than this place .. but what do I know , only been to Italy 23 times

Solid food, made fresh, tasty and you get your money's worth. Love the added touches with he EVOO on the table and complimentary bread that is made in the brick over is amazing! Staff is pleasant and always around to attend to your needs. The pizza is a great option here, but the lamb chop and fingerling potatoes were sooooo yummy! No parking lot, and street parking is a big tough.

It's my 3rd time here and finally tried their pizza! If you're coming here, you gotta try their pizza. They're unique and not the typical pizza you get elsewhere. We tried the Montanara Genovese and also the pizza w honey truffle, so delicious!! For dessert, try their white tiramisu. So yummy and heavenly! It's the best dessert, had it 2x already. Just to add , the warm bread/pizza bread is also the best!

So let me say , this place could have easily received a 5 star review if it wasn't for the aggressive and cranky bartender. Let's start with the positives. The ambiance is so cozy, rustic and warm (unlike the service). It's dining room is so appealing and would make the perfect location for any date night, girls night or in our case...just a last minute hang out. The wine list is expansive but seems to be curated just right for the right flavor profiles to pair with their dishes. I devoured their pillow soft bread which had me addicted. We ordered the meatballs which were good, the three cheese pizza and the octopus. I really enjoyed the octopus although it received mixed reviews regarding the texture at our table. Nonetheless , the pairing of the arugula salad underneath was great. Now the bartender was so very rude. When asked about what wines she recommends, she seemed upset and told us she doesn't know cause everyone has different tastes. Her responses and attitude the whole evening definitely rubbed us the wrong way. Sucks cause this was my first night out after having my baby and my first sip of wine in 9 months , and it would have been nice to enjoy that with some pleasant interaction.

Such a lovely spot !! And the pizza is the BEST in town!!! Thank you for the delicious cuisine and superb service

I have been to the Englewood location but never this one. Small spot that had a bar and a few tables. There is metered parking if needed. The food was solid. The fritto misto was a herty portion of fried goodness. The marinara was nicely done. The caprese was simple. Went with the margherita and it had a good crunch to it and flavor. Not sure its go out of your way pizza but it was good.

Sparkling RED, omg so fun

"Things to Consider":…read more 1. Food - fine if you want to pay hotel prices for food that you can get at a New Jersey or Long Island mall at much lower prices. Paper plates, plastic cutlery and pita chips warmed and served in the bags they came in. 2. Service - non-existent. No staff members acknowledge your arrival. You either have to wave madly or go to the bar and ask for a drink. The staff is always closing early with the staff excuse that "we are not busy" yet guests are routinely turned away. The staff is not happy and begrudge being there. DO NOT believe in the hours posted on the website. There is a built-in clientele but the staff can't wait to close it down. I don't know what is wrong with management but they have lost the plot. 3. Ambience - The space could be so much better than it is. The lighting is okay but the seating in the bar area is not appropriate. The adjoining cafe has a better feeling. Ambience has a lot to do with making guests feel welcome - this staff doesn't understand the meaning of hospitality but they should not be blamed. It is clear they have no training and are not held to any standard. If you want to go to a great space, go to the Wallace Hotel around the corner (I am NOT affiliated with them... have just gone there many times). It is so sad to see a place with such potential be so poorly run, especially as they have such little competition. The Arthouse Bar has the potential to be THE leading cocktail/music/late-night bar on the Upper West Side.

I mean it's drenched in butter... it's obviously going to be delish. the fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and layered in salt. weird to have to ask for mayo but they did bring it out. - the, albeit pretty, veggie sides I felt were unnecessary and borderline cold so unclear on how much they really added the meal - the Tarte Tatin à la mode was a win around the table. the apple melted in your mouth. the Poire belle Hélène was good but paled in comparison
