Loveeee this place! Aujourd'hui Demain just happened to be a short walk from the hotel that my sister and I were staying at during our most recent trip to Paris and I couldn't have been happier!
We stopped in for an early dinner on a hot Saturday, tired and hungry after a long day of traveling. We snagged a table in the bright, colorful and casual establishment, then I quickly ordered a refreshing "Mojito Classic" ($8). The drink was indeed refreshing, yum!
I had a hard time deciding what to order for my meal... it's not every day that I can literally order anything off of a menu. Hooray for plant-based cafes! I ended up going with the "Ultimate Selfish Buger" ($17), which included two brioche buns filled with no-fish fillets, house tartare sauce, micro greens, house arugula pesto and gomasio (seasoned sesame). The dish also included mini whole potatoes and a small green salad with pickled onion and mustard, I believe. Oh my gosh. Sooo much flavor! This dish was both beautiful in appearance and extremely tasty, plus satisfying. The bread was so tender, flaky, and "buttery." The "fish" is kind of like a chicken nugget but it worked. I would definitely recommend this dish. My sister ordered the "Sesason Bowl : Sunny Summer Salad " ($15), which was composed of quinoa, tofu, thai sesame sauce, baby kale, peanut miso eggplant, tomato, basil pesto, pickles, roasted mini peppers, and grilled lemon. She enjoyed her dish as well. She's a lighter eater and couldn't finish hers... I inhaled all of mine and was very full.
Service was amazing, we chatted with several very friendly people which made the experience even better.
I needed new shoes since I managed to obtain some gnarly blisters, and what do you know, part of the shop has vegan clothes and shoes! They also have a grocery section in the back--all vegan of course. I wish Seattle had a place like this. My only regret is dining here just once! read more
