Margarita Pizza after hanging out at the Eiffel Tower
Priscilla C.

You know somewhere is good when you eat there and your like DELICIOUS then you later find out its vegan! The drinks were AMAZINGLY delicious and the waiter (who I also think is the owner) was very nice. Great vibe. My boyfriend and I loved it and neither of us are vegan. We have the margarita pizzas and spritz. Would definitely come back when I visit Paris again.

Vegetable soup for a starter - delicious!
Chanele R.

Fantastic vegan brasserie! Traveling one as a vegan and one as a vegetarian, we were "warned" that we would struggle in France. Paris is ripe with options, though, and this way the third all-vegan restaurant we visited and definitely the best. The menu has a lot of traditional and comfort foods, including pizzas and burgers. We both had pizzas, and they were excellent. For a starter, we shared a vegetable soup that was delicious. The atmosphere was calm and appealing, and the service was friendly and accommodating. I would eat here regularly if I lived in Paris.

Penne Bolognaise (my favorite and probably the best vegan bolognaise that I have ever had), Cheeseburger with fries. So good!

Great vegan restaurant in Paris! We ate here a lot during our stay and it was one of our favorites. The food was delicious and staff was very friendly. The inside and ceiling decor are also very cool. We tried the Penne Bolognaise (my favorite and probably the best vegan bolognaise that I have ever had), Cheeseburger with "frites avec mayonnaise" (fries with mayo- they also have ketchup), and pizza. All were so good!

Margarita pizza with a glass of rosé.

A vegan brasserie! My heart skipped a beat when I came across this little gem in Paris. I ordered a glass of rosé, a chorizo pizza, and pain perdu for dessert. I was very jet lagged, so I didn't even notice that the pizza I received wasn't the chorizo one at all. I think I got the margarita pizza? It was delicious! The cheese...I don't know what cheese they use, but it was one of the best cheesy pizzas I've had since going vegan. Melty, stretchy, delicious cheeeeeese. Pain perdu is basically french toast and how lucky am I to have french toast in France?! I loved every bite, it was so indulgent. I especially loved the caramel sauce that it was smothered in. The service was great - typically French so not at all overbearing. I ordered in French but when the waitress had to explain something to me outside the limits of my knowledge of the language, she switched to English without a problem. I would've come back here a hundred times if I had the time or the stomach space. There's still so much I want to try! I'm truly impressed by the existence of a vegan brasserie, so cool.

My wife and I are both vegans and just recently visited Paris for a few weeks. This was one of my favorite places to eat while in Paris! I think the restaurant is 100% Vegetarian, but it definitely has options for vegans too. We ended up coming here a few times during our stay I would absolutely 100% recommend getting the Pizza here! Most vegan cheeses simply don't taste good and remind you with each bite that you're eating vegan cheese. The vegan cheese here tasted great! I think I'd put this in my top 3 favorite vegan pizzas! One of the other things about this place that I loved is that they were open all day long. Sometimes my wife and I would trek to a vegan restaurant that was open on yelp, but was closed once we got there. & some of the other vegan friendly places close early in the day. It's nice to have a spot that you know will be open most of the time! Finding vegan options while traveling can be quite a challenge, so I'm reviewing most of the places my wife and I stayed during our trip to make it easier for others visiting in the future. Be sure to check out my other reviews if you're a vegan visiting Paris and wondering where you'll be able to eat!

My husband and I are both vegans visiting Paris from MN USA. This was our first meal in France and it was amazing! One of the best pizzas my husband has ever had. I agree as well. A lot of vegan cheeses have an after taste, and this pizza cheese did not have that. It was really good. He couldn't stop talking about it. I ordered the pad thai - but it was more like drunken noodles. The noodles they used were wider than usual ones used in pad thai dish. It was still good though. I really enjoyed it. Service was a bit slower here. We had to waive down the waiter when we wanted our check, but he was very nice and spoke English. The bathroom was downstairs. It's a cute place. The seats outside were not very comfortable, so I would probably recommend sitting inside. LOL Other than that, we had a great experience.

The Orientale pizza and the crostini. YUM!

This place is FABULOUS! I was in Paris visiting, happened to be staying at a place off Rue Montorgueil, and was excited to discover a vegan restaurant nearby. From the outside, it looks just like any other brasserie in the area. I went for dinner and took advantage of the happy hour deal - a double pour of wine for €5,5. Dinner was the napolitaine pizza, and my dining companion ordered the pad Thai. I have had many vegan pizzas and this one was just superb - the crust was thin but still chewy, topped with an amazing tomato sauce, and the cheese was unlike any other vegan cheese I've had on a pizza, totally melty and delicious. I tasted the pad Thai and that was also great. We actually ended up going back for dinner a few nights later and I had another pizza (the Orientale) which was just as delicious. I was so pleased to come across this place and I will be back if I find myself in Paris again. A must for any vegan visiting Paris!

Spaghetti Bolognese, salad and beignets
Rachel S.

Great vegan brasserie! Ordered the spaghetti bolognese and the small salad - both so tasty! My friend ordered the vegetable beignets and they were just alright - basically a fried assortment of veggies with a spicy dipping sauce, nothing special. We also enjoyed the Margherita mini pizza - so lovely that the have a mini one. Service was great, if you get the chance definitely sit outside, it's a bit dark and crowded inside. Waffles were delicious, especially with a scoop of ice cream! Overall, a good place to have any meal as they are open until midnight.

This place is amazing! I was so excited to find an all vegan restaurant so close to my hotel! The staff is very friendly. I was nervous because I didn't know any French and the menu is all French; however, the staff all knew English and were very helpful when trying to decide what to order. I ate here everyday when I was in Paris, because it was sooo good. You really can't go wrong with any of the items. I got penne bolognaise, kebab maison, chorizo pizza, and risotto. For desserts, I got the banana split and panacotta. They were all delicious, but if I had to pick one it would be the kebab maison. My friend isn't vegan, and she really liked it too. This place opens early, closes late, and remains open throughout the day (which is not very common in Paris). Also, check out Cloud Cakes which is down the street from this place for some delicious vegan pastries.

Cheeseburger with salad and fries.

If you're vegan or vegetarian, this restaurant will satisfy any craving you have. Burgers, pizza, a full bar with happy hour 5-10 pm. I got the cheeseburger, and it was cooked and made to perfection. The salad is to die for as well. Only downside... no wifi! But everything else was top notch: location, food, servers. Highly recommend!

All vegan restaurant with decent food. The good, pad thai is tasty. The burger is good. The not so good, pizza is average at best. Might be a premade shell, toppings are good. I came for rhe vegan brunch plate which Iooked amazing on the reviews but iI waa rold they sisnt have it. This on Sunday at 1:30pm. Good vegan spot.

Great vegan option! Brunch starts at 11, and they have a pretty huge plate for 25€, all vegan. They're vegan cheese burger is awesome too!

Great vegan option! Brunch from 11-5 on Sundays with a huge all-vegan plate for 25€. A bit pricey, but good and filling overall. Excellent coffee and fresh OJ. Loved the vegan cheese burger!

Sunday Brunch
Alyssa W.

After a month in Paris, my friend and I (both vegan) went to Janine Loves Sunday for brunch and it was the 1st time we were FULL after a meal!! We both got the "Sunday" which included a hot drink of your choice, a kiwi drink, tofu scramble, yogurt w granola, banana pancakes, toast, and a raspberry mousse. This food is to DIE for! The BEST we've had in Paris by far. I can not explain how delicious! On top of that the food came quick, they were patient with us as we asked lots of questions and we don't speak a lick of French, and their music/playlist was perfect. Such a good atmosphere!

Le Comptoir de la Gastronomie - An amazing French onion soup...

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

They had a number of goods to choose from and I ended up buying a few things for souvenirs. As for the actual restaurant, they had a number of delicious sounding items on their menu. Our server was very attentive to us and helped us decide on our dinner orders. Similar to the other restaurants though. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.

On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.
