What i wasn't happy about was that they drove and parked their trailer in my yard, which we have so carefully tried to get grass to grow in. I told them they could park in the driveway next to ours as the house wasn't occupied, which I thought they did, but when I came back out again it was in the yard. I figured that it was my fault because I didn't request them to stay off the grass so I let it go. They came back the next day to finish picking up the limbs and I requested a quote on getting some limbs cut from another tree for thinning while they were there. They promptly responded and again said they could do it that day, which was great. I asked if they would be careful with the grass because it was on a different side of the house and I didn't figure they would need to be in the grass anyway. I got home and they were working hard, but there were tire rugs all through my yard (we have a corner lot so there is no possible reason why they would need to drive where they did). Their truck was on the street at that point so the damage was already done and there was nothing I could say. Apparently, they ran over 3 street signs while they were there too (my neighbor was present when it happened). Long story short, they got my taken care of very promptly, the price was reasonable, and they were polite, but I would set expectations at the beginning of what you want regarding boundaries of your yard.

WORST. EXPERIENCE…read more I didn't want to have to leave this review, but after the owners promised to make it right and then never made good on their promise, I can't stress enough how horrible our experience was with Moore and Smith. They were by a mile the highest quote, and we don't mind paying top dollar for good service, but this was nothing short of disappointing. The company came highly recommended, however they repeatedly dropped the ball on our rental when we needed to have trees removed. They presented a waiver to our tenants stating it was "to cover the property under insurance should anything happen". This was in fact a waiver in case the lawn and or driveway got torn up. I, as the owner of the property was NEVER presented this document, or I would have certainly requested to move the service to another day when the ground was more firm. Lo and behold, the lawn is a demolition derby, the driveway is damaged, and the tenants were picking up trash and debris for days. Not what I would expect for an $8000 service. When I called to get to the root of the problem and express my frustration, I spoke with Megan, who is equally as classless as she is condescending... not sure what swamp they dug her out of, but I've never been spoken to by a more repugnant person. Any company that would have THAT as their customer service person clearly doesn't give a shit about customer service... The owners called me back to apologize for how she spoke to me, which showed class, and promised to return to our rental, smooth out the tracks from the damage, and to reseed the lawn. He also promised to come to our property for free for a service should we need help. They never made good on either promise, and calls to the owner have been unreturned and texts left on read. Needless to say we are disappointed and will never be hiring them again.

Looking at your reviews I see I'm not the only one this has happened to. The owner blocked me on Google but here's my reply to YOU. Last week, Romiro (the owner) came out to my property (after being late due to reportedly having truck problems), and was very nice. Reasonable quote. Was looking forward to having the trees on my property trimmed. He showed my husband and I his license and schedule. We decided to get this done today, 4/4/17 starting anywhere from 8am-8:30am. Well, fast forward to 4/4/17 (today): 9am came and went. I contacted the office. The woman told me we were in fact on the schedule and she would contact her "boss" to find out what happened and get back to me. Well, over 1/2 hour came and went and no returned call. I called back around 40 minutes later, I left a voice message. She called back a couple of minutes later and told me the guys were emptying out their trucks because they were full. They would be here between 10:30am-11am. 11:20am: no tree service on my property, no follow-up phone call to notify me of what was going on. Basically, a no-show. I called the office once more and cancelled the service. I notified them I would be searching for another company. Never received a call back. I am extremely disappointed as I have many other things happening and was looking forward to having the trees trimmed so that they would be safer when we get these strong TN storms. I do not understand why a company would give the estimate and then not follow-through without an explanation. I understand life happens and would have been perfectly fine if they contacted me and told me the truth, that they either forgot or something happened, etc... I do not, however, understand this type of unprofessional behavior that seems to be more mainstream nowadays. I am a professional myself and conduct my self as such. I guess I will stop expecting others to act the same. Based solely on my experience, I DO NOT and CANNOT recommend this company. Here's a doozy of an update: Apparently, they don't even communicate with their own staff. 2 guys came out here without being notified that I had cancelled from earlier due to lack of communication on their part. They said they were the only 2 that were sent out to start this massive tree trimming service (for 2 60' hackberry trees, might I add). I had been instructed earlier by the woman that answers the calls that more guys would be sent out due to starting at a later time in the day (which was supposed to be around 11am). And these 2 poor guys were the "extras"?! Messy business practices.
