The mall here in Augusta is decent and pretty basic. Although stores almost always hold sales there isn't much of a variety of stores or food. Although I don't usually eat mall food, there is almost always only one place where the line is extremely long and unbearable. Besides that, the prices are a bit too high for such things at the kiosks. I don't know if this has to do with the amount the renters have to pay but should definitely be looked into, as this is Augusta and not Atlanta. The mall does a good job at keeping the exterior and interior clean which is comforting. Over the past few years I have seen plenty of stores moved around or completely gotten rid of which is somewhat disappointing because the high quality stores have been replaced with a candle shop or something that seems a bit pointless for those of us who go to the mall to buy clothing. All and all I hope they improve the stores within and add a variety of food. read more

OLD MEETS NEW AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY! I am really just here looking for shoes for my daughter so it is my intention to visit a couple of the major department stores. I was quite surprised to see that one side of the mall is very dated with older stores like Sears, JC Penney and Dillards while there is a newer area with stores such a Charming Charlie and Williams Sonoma, Barnes and Noble. While I don't mind vintage and new, I am always distracted by the "pearl on a pig" dynamic. Why create these beautiful new stores and attach them to the older outdated stores? Why not just update the older stores as well so that you have a seamless look? That was just jarring and weird to me. Although I am no longer interested in malls for the most part, they continue to be a great one-stop shopping option as more non-traditional stores are being added. They are also a great place to hang out on a hot day. This mall had a significant security present with guards literally everywhere! Even before seeing them, I felt perfectly safe here despite an incident that occurred a couple of weeks ago. It's a mall, what more can I say! read more

Very big mall. I know what I looking for when I come to the mall. You can see people exercising by walking the mall. Laughing and conversation going on. Vendors trying to get you try their product. But don't forget the aroma of all the different type of food smell. I love smelling the pretzel shop. Today, only made to stop one to champ and other to philly shop. Overall, I've had good experiences whenever I come here and shop. As I think of it, I have been coming here for 2 decades now. From the major clothing and shoe stores to a variety of food options at the food court and on the outskirts of the mall, there is an abundance of stores here to go shopping at. There's usually a decent size crowd here during throughout the day and night. Especially on the weekends. It has been a hangout spot for a very long time. You're very likely to run into someone you know if you're a local. Avoid this place on the holidays when there's ad sales going on!! I only go in the mall to weigh myself in GNC. My daughters love the mall. I am glad to see that it has expanded since I was kid back in the 90's. I do enjoy Lane Bryant and now I am falling in love with JCPenny(they have coupons)!!!!! They also have placed a Sephora in JCPenny and I am excited about that, because I don't have to go in the mall to go to Sephora! I also enjoy New York and Company, Children's Place and I think that's about it! I hope they continue to bring new stores to the mall Augusta deserves a big mall@! read more

Wide variety of shops, parking is never a problem. Has everything I need, really. I just wish there were a Cheesecake Factory! :) Not a contender for deadmalls.com (yet), but more sit-down dining options would be great. read more

I have been to the mall at least 3 times in the past month. That is a far cry from how often I use to come. I hardly ever come to the mall anymore. They took a lot of stores out of it that I like. But there are a few other stores that I do like, Barnes and Noble, Hot Topic, Sephora, and American Eagle, to name a few. I always loved the food court too!!! I can eat at any of the restaurants and be satisfied with my choice. I love the fact that they added more upscale restaurants to the mall, it attracts an upscale crowd. What I'm really excited about is the new addition to the mall, H&M!!!! I had been saying for years Augusta needed one and behold we are getting one!!! It will be opening on August 14, 2014. I will be there on opening day because this is my all time favorite store!!! I can hardly contain my excitement!!! I know this will be a great addition to the mall. This and a few other things are drawing me back to the mall and becoming a regular customer again!!! read more

On a weekday, the mall is okay for families, but Friday and Saturday night the place is taken over by kids and thugs. I worked security there for three years and still wouldn't take my family there over a weekend. read more

If you're just looking to wonder around and enjoy shops it'll be a quick and disappointing trip. The food court is ok-ish. The outdoor part is pretty nice, but last time I was there all the nice businesses were closing and getting replaced with lower end retailers. read more

I'm from NJ originally, so I like to think I know a little bit about malls :) When I moved here, I was a little surprised at the size of the mall and when I finally went to the mall, I was pleasantly surprised at the range of stores and really...the sheer size of the mall compared to what you would expect from a 'smaller' town. This place is growing and they have a beautiful mall to match. It's clean, something for everyone, the bathrooms are clean, the play area is clean, the food court has tons of food choices as well as a ton of seating. I love their upstairs court with the Apple store and Barnes and Nobles. My daughter works at the fragrance counter of Macy's (ask for Jessica) and I always get great quality of service from everyone who works at the mall. Yes, on the weekends you can find a lot of younger people here, but that's ANY mall in the US. read more

I spent many an hour in my childhood waiting around in the Augusta Mall food court after eating with my grandparents. After growing up, we were allowed to go walk around the mall by ourselves while our grandparents sat around talking forever and seeing who they knew that was also in the food court. From everything else I've seen in this town, I'm highly impressed with the mall. Great stores like Banana Republic, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Hollister, Barnes & Noble, Sephora, etc. are found here. It gets an "A" for being modern. It is also conveniently located by a PFChangs and a Chop House. It also has a pretty cool fountain outside with neat blue-lighted steps. Gotta admit, for Augusta, they did a good job. read more

Excellent Mall, great food choices,stores,and customer service. Though I do wish they had a "Lush" it's still a great mall.

My experience at the shops have been wonderful, mall security though not so much, watched a security officer almost scream at a woman asking if she was an employee and telling her to park in the back before she could even respond. It's just plain disrespectful to treat anyone that way. read more

I just moved here from San Dieg, Ca and I have to say, I am very impressed with this mall. It is larger than most of the malls in SD and so much more clean too. I love the kids play area on the lower level, and their food court is massive. I am surprised by all the stores they have here, some of my favorites are Victorias Secret, Barnes & Nobels, Forever 21, and Buckle. This is definitely a nice place to hang out on a hot day with the kids. read more

The mall is simple, and perfect for a child. There is a play area (in front of Dillard's) for children, and a train children can ride in! The mall provides you a area (in front of H&M) where there are chargers you can use for a moment. There are also many food courts such as Starbucks, or Chick-fil-a. Also, there are military discounts in most stores in Augusta mall! One of the nicer malls I've been too and it's pretty large. Augusta being the second largest city in Georgia i'm glad they stepped it up with the additions and stores like Sephora and the Apple Store It's nice not having to drive to Atlanta just to visit my favorite stores. Today I experienced one of the worst customer services of my life! I usually buy at this store, as usual I went to the store n saw some kids pants on $6.99 so I grabbed three pairs of the same pants but in different colors. Since I got the pants I thought to get my son the matching shirts as well. So I spent an hr mixing n matching the pants with the shirts n shoes! After an hr I was so ready to checkout, the sales associate came to me n said he can help me. When he started scanning the pants he said they r not on sale. I looked surprisingly at him n I said "sir, it still has the red rag saying on sale for $6.99." The associate said no it was till the morning n we were supposed to take off the tags but Idk how come it still has it. I asked for a manager to speak with but he said he was the manager. He didn't even take the time to see if he can do anything else to help me out. All he did was removing the red tags n asked me if I still want them. I was so disappointed n pissed so I said no n I ended up wasting my one hr lunch break with buying nothing! It was the worst service I ever had! read more

Basically, I've seen better. This mall is okay. Nothing too great. Sure you have Barnes and Noble and restaurants like PF Changs. But let's face it, pf sucks. Service isn't all that great. Seems like people here need to learn what Good quality customer service is. That goes the same for inside the mall. read more
