They were at Pop-Up's and special events around the area (and region). And now, they can be found across the region (including North and South Carolina). But what do they carry? Though personally they have handcrafted leather gifts, accessories, and jewelry they follow more the pattern of a boutique in that they have items from other small businesses. What kind of items, you ask? Candles, cosmetics, coasters, can coolers, (and to finish out the C's) clothing. The ambiance of the space alone is rejuvenating. The natural light pouring in through the front windows, the reflection off the lightly stained wood accents and pastel colors inhabiting the space, and the warm smile of every team member awaits you upon entrance. There are people/businesses we all find ourselves routing for. They've put in the work, they remained positive amidst challenges, and they have proven resilient despite adversities. And for Freshwater, in addition to that, they have opened a brick-and-mortar location even after all that 2020 brought their (our) way. I will champion them to anyone who asks (or doesn't). Stop in for a visit and I have no doubt you'll do the same.

At a store like this you can't just buy anything. A lot of their clothes are geared toward the youthful crowd and having words and saying on their clothes, but great pieces can be found if you have time to search and look through the merchandise. The prices are pretty cheap as well, so it's basically a win-win situation. At any given time there will be great sales going on with out of season clothes or clothes that haven't sold as quickly as others. The saleswomen are always friendly and greeting you at the door when you enter. You can find great deals on jewelry as well. There is usually a buy one get one 50% off on the jewelry. Once again you have to carefully separate the good stuff from the junk. They also have fragrances in front of the register that are 3 for $10. They are knock off of popular fragrances. Again, choosing wisely is the key. I found a great fragrance called Sexy Bomb I think is the knock off of a Victoria's Secret fragrance. It smells wonderful, you wouldn't know it was a low end fragrance. Checking out is always quick and easy unless there is a line of people waiting to check out as well. On a day of shopping, this is a perfect place to find deals and good pieces if you are in the mood to look, but if it's a shopping day you are usually in the mood to search and find bargains!!!!

Look, Communigraphics is a fine local business. My organization has worked with them for a few years ordering branded T-shirt's, polos, and name tags. The quality has always been great and the prices are reasonable. My only complaint is that they don't seem to have a good internal communication structure or complaint resolution system. My organization places our yearly order in January for 11 branded polos. I asked for a quote or order summary and never received one. A few weeks later we asked to add one shirt to the order, because we brought in one additional person. I asked for an updated quote or order summary and never received one. About a month later our order came in- missing the extra shirt. A few more months later our extra shirt came in- but they'd ordered an extra of each shirt. We now have 23 shirts for our 12 members and our extremely small budget is down an additional $350 (because the person who picked up and paid for the order didn't realize the duplication error). This is all okay so far, people make mistakes. I explained what happened to my sales person I'd been working with. She has no idea what I was saying and just left it at "well you can't return branded T-shirt's". I've made it clear that we didn't order these, right? Eventually after 5 or 6 emails, I gave up on her and called the manager. He or she was out, so I had the person at the front desk take a note for them with my number explaining that I had an issue concerning a double charge. A week went by and I called again and had them take another note for any manager to return my call concerning a double charge. I never heard anything back. In the end, we can use the polos next year so it won't be the end of the world. But our budget doesn't carry over- so we've had to cancel other plans because we don't have the funds for it. I could go in and demand to speak to someone in person but I'd had to call off work to make it during their hours. In the end, I'm fine with taking our annual business elsewhere. But quality-wise they were good. Just hope that you don't have a problem because they have no interest in resolving it.
