This is the 2nd time I received this kind of service at this location. I made a purchase at the location in October and had to ask for help after standing in the shoe dept. meanwhile other customer were spoken to and I was overlooked. Once the salesperson brought back the shoe in a hurry she tried to rush me out the store and I told her that I was continuing to look. Finally after carrying the shoes and doing a balancing act of sorting through the racks...another salesperson acknowledged me and asked if she could put the shoes at the register. On Saturday, 11/16/24 to be quite honest even if you had the item I was looking for there is no way I would have spent money there. I will say that I've always received excellent customer service at the Surrey Center location. I'm not sure if I received this sort of service at the Martinez location due to the color of my skin. I have mentioned this to many family members, friends and coworkers. As I left the store on 11/16/24, I felt so upset (honestly, I could have cried right there in the store) but instead I left.
