I was visiting Augusta and had some time to kill before my flight, so I went to the Augusta mall. After being disappointed at Dillard's, I made my way to the outside part of the mall and noticed ann taylor. I am a regular ann taylor shopper, but the beautiful colors in the display window of this store seemed so bright and cheery I decided to go inside and take a look around. I was promptly greeted at the door, but when I said I was just looking I was given my space, which was great. Nobody likes overly aggressive sales people! I found a few things to try on, and approached one of the employees (vicki) to ask a question about a particular pair of pants, and she went to the back and dug out the size I needed. I hit the dressing room, but since I was shopping by myself I was asking the employees their opinions on various outfits and they were helping make sure I was styled appropriately. I can not say enough good things about the employees that were helping me- Pam and Vicki. They were stylishly dressed themselves, so I knew I was in good hands, and best of all, they were honest with me, which is important! They were both so nice and friendly it felt like I was getting the honest opinions of my friends. Ann taylor is a chain store, so the clothes in each one are basically the same, but the service that you get is not. Next time I am in Augusta I will definitely stop in- I can't recommend them enough if you're looking for a dress for a special event or just to refresh your wardrobe, they will not steer you wrong. read more

If I wanted my funky and edgy curvy fashion I would have to do whatever it takes to have it. I love Torrid because they really have clothes that fit the curvy and plus body well. They aren't afraid to give us current trends while giving some edge. Shoes are offered in large sizes and widths. The employees I met at the grand opening were awesome even with the amount of people there. Every single woman shared in my excitement of their arrival. While there are other plus stores in the area, I can see myself at Torrid at least once a week. Thank you Torrid for coming to Augusta. I don't think Mister's happy watching his money walking out the door though!

When you first enter. I recommend grabbing a shopping cart/buggy to your immediate right. The buggies are the first to go. Now for the fun to start. Pick a bin and start diving in to see what goods you can find. There are 12-15 bins placed throughout the store, so people are not stuck or bunch up together. - Friday and Saturday is when new inventory is loaded onto the bins - Wednesday is $2.00 day. Every item is $2.00 - Thursday is clearance day (which I think everything in the bin is $1.00) - Thursday has limited hours from 10 am - 2 pm because they clear out each bin each week. Items in the bin vary each week. I recommend checking their Facebook page because they announce the highlights that will be placed into the bin. Warning: There are no returns or exchanges on the item you purchase. I recommend checking it thoroughly. I recommend bringing hand sanitizer or gloves. The items in the bin have been handled by many people. I recommend washing your hands thoroughly when you get home.
