This place is right in downtown Aiken and doesn't look like much from the outside but they have a good selection for the most part. There are lots of clothes and many decent brands, linens and holiday stuff, books, accessories, and some furniture out from. All were fairly priced and they have rotating daily sales. Today (Monday), for example, they had 50% off red tag items and 50% off books. I found a handful of items and enjoyed browsing around then being able to walk to lunch nearby. The employees seemed nice but weren't out of this world friendly, but as long as they aren't rude it doesn't really affect my shopping experience. I'm sure I'll be back!

I was told if items still have original price on them they were supposed to be marked 50% of that. Seriously ??? Most of the time the item is flawed or damaged in some way, or from past seasons. I have seen items in there that had yard sale stickers on them and GW marked them at some fantasy retail price. Holiday items are now marked with fixed prices and I guess stay on the shelves until they break or look so shoddy somebody pulls them for the dumpster. Store does look cleaner as well and cashier was very nice.

The place is huge and quite junky to me. I was kind of shocked how junky it was because I have never been to a store like this before, but I was open to looking around. They had clothes, shoes, kitchen utensils and appliances, household appliances, and furniture. A lot of the things that were in here were broken and in need of repair. The owner says people come in and buy things that are broken and fixes them.....I guess!!!! They had a ton of special occasion dress that wear very inexpensive with the tags still on them. My friend did find a pair of shoes she liked. She was also interested in a bed in the back that was $325. It was a Queen size bed with huge wood fixtures on the bed frame. It was nice and sturdy. She was interested in the bed but she thought the price was kind of high, the owner did lower the price but she was still unsure. They also delivery to your home for $25. I thought that was a great deal. My friend also bought a vacuum cleaner, punch bowl, and vanity for $35. That was a pretty great deal for those items. I'm glad my friend was able to come here and get some things she was looking for.

When you park the care the first thing you see are all kinds of birdhouses and eclectic things hanging for the rafters. We fell in love at first glance. When you enter there is a bit of,oh dear me, overload! As you can see from our photos we were having the best time. The owner Liz gave us the grand tour and offered us a lemonade or ice tea! We said yes! Country hospitality is the best. We got to see how she makes the pottery for the shop as well as met her husband who is the handyman and general all around go to guy! Well we bought as much as we could carry and and enjoyed a nice visit with the owners. Sometimes country shopping means you sit a spell and talk with folks. We enjoyed that alot! They gave us some recommendations in the local area to eat and to shop! Didn't seem like they had any competitors. Will we be back, oh dear me yes! We do like this kind of shopping and visiting. As a side note their shop was on ETV as a special small business.
