What a cool antique store, that I think fits with the culture of the South. I found some nice jewelry that was decently priced. Granted, I didn't really care if it were actually antique or old for that matter - it was just cute. There were a lot of items and I feel that it would take forever to actually look through everything! I got a nice necklace, a ring, and a watch (not pictured).

Mema Had One (MHO) is an "American Pickers" wet dream of antiques, vintage clothing and knick-knacks. The owners had such an addiction to buying antiques that they started a business, which means they do the hard work for you. - Large varied selection - Three stories of fun - Reasonable prices - Friendly owners - New items added often - Customer oriented - Vintage, vintage, vintage When first walked into Mema Had One I gasped "Oh, good Lord". Ever since my first visit I have been excited to drop-in and look around for new additions any time I am near Washington Road. MHO has such a variety of things from kitchenware, storage, clothes, records, books and miscellaneous finds. There is really something for everyone and if you don't believe me, I'll let you ask my friend Adam who picked up a Centurion statue for half the price you'd see anywhere else. Now Barnabus has a new home on a solid pillar in his living room. I recommend you at least pop-in to burn some time, the owners are fantastic to speak with and could talk antiques all day. They have thought through the entire setup from viewing through purchase. They have a sweet iPad checkout and unique decorated bags for your purchase. Everything screams Mema Had One.

Three stars because not enough variety. Its not a good or bad place, just average. I wish there were more glasswares such as Glasbake, FireKing, Pyrex, etc. The shop is clean and laid out pretty nice. No issues here.

Mema Had One is a very cool antique store. They have a ton of stuff. Go when you have at least an hour to look through the place. It is huge. They had lots of old doors, windows, and shutters I liked. My fiancé and I needed to get to the Vintage Market, so I missed a whole room. My fiancé said it was the room with all the furniture. I am SO bummed I missed it. I am going to go back for sure. I would definitely recommend this antique store. Can't wait to go back and see what I missed.

This place is A- Ok in my book. Lots to look at with three floors to go through. It's a good mix of old and new items and most of it is in good shape. Prices are a bit higher than I would want to pay. $5 for one used book is a little steep. They had an old croquet set I wanted but no price was listed. One of the women at the front desk had to call someone and I finally got an answer of $120 (HAHAHAHAHA). Some hidden gems if you look hard enough but I do not think I will return when I am in the area. I enjoyed the Riverfront Antique Mall (8 min drive up the road from here) over this place. Their selection is twice the size and with a better lay out.

I just moved to the area and found this place on yelp. What a great place!! I could've spent all day in there and still not have looked at everything! Upstairs downstairs outside the other downstairs.. this place is packed full of everything you could imagine. the prices are GREAT!! I was just floored by the prices, I wanted one of everything!! the furniture was all beautiful. I'll be going back again and again!

It used to be Hancock Fabrics. Now I will be forthright and let you know this is a no frills place. Of course you shouldn't expect money to be spent on lighting or other bric-a-brac when the business is an extension of Habitat for Humanity (a non-profit). What sets this store apart from others is after you venture through the usual stuff (furniture, books, CD's, glasses, etc.), the other half is focused on home repairs/supplies. There are washers and dryers here, but also vents and pipes and bolts and a number of items you might need to fix and/or add on to the home. The pricing across the board is amazing. That day I walked out with a office chair (see the uploaded picture) for only $5. It is gently used and is very comfortable. Stop in today and remember, every purchase supports Habitat for Humanity. *Insider's Tip -Take the time to comb through the CD's and tapes. There are some classics in there, most for only $1.

Great shape and was going to a popular office store to buy one but glad someone told about the chairs(thanks Aaron!). Also when do purchase items from here round off the change because it goes toward the Habitat cause. One of my top stores in my area for hard to find item to renovate homes with. Come by many things here you wish you came here 1st !
