I think this restaurant has a fun concept with some great menu items. Servers were friendly but they were all over the place. It seems like there is a need for more organization from the kitchen and wait staff. The floor offers a fun thematic experiences. The dishes are named after Black culture themes. The music is fun and has an old school presence. You can see episodes of "Sanford and Son" or "The Jeffersons" on the TVs. I was surprised by the 30+ minute wait for the food, but all that went away when my plate arrived. Everything was cooked PERFECTLY. It all looked and tasted amazing.

The skinny: super friendly server, slow service, good food, wouldn't order coffee again, automatic 20% gratuity added to every check. Walked in on a Sunday morning ready for coffee and breakfast. It probably took about 15-20 minutes before we were able to order coffee. We ordered honey flat whites, but they came in tall to-go cups with milk to the brim. It really wasn't a flat white, it was maybe a latte? As for food, we got the California love (breakfast burrito) and the ready or not (eggs your way, protein of choice, biscuit, potatoes). I got my eggs over medium and chicken sausage. The biscuit was drenched in honey which was delicious. The potatoes were ok, but I liked my eggs and chicken sausage. The burrito was big! It was really like two burrito halves, so it was plenty of food. I took a bite and it was pretty good. Overall, seemed like a fun brunch place for mimosas and vibes with friends. The automatic 20% tip doesn't really make sense to me for a place like that.

I was genuinely excited to try Angie's Cafe, but unfortunately this experience completely changed my mind about coming back. We ordered an iced matcha with extra matcha powder and an omelette with extra tomatoes and no peppers. After being seated, we were not given any silverware... and none was ever brought out, even after waiting. The iced matcha was another disappointment. I asked for extra matcha powder, but it came out almost white, basically sweet milk with little to no matcha flavor. It definitely did not reflect what was ordered. We then waited over 40 minutes for a simple omelette, while watching several tables who came in after us receive their food first. When the omelette finally arrived, it had a large amount of peppers (which we specifically asked to leave off) and barely any tomatoes, even though we requested extra. I really wanted to like this place, but between the long wait, incorrect order, lack of attention to detail, and disappointing quality, I won't be returning. Oh, just got the check. THEY ADDED 20% GRATUITY. What is this, there was only 2 of us..? EDIT: I feel like I should also add how, from the moment we walked in, the service felt off. The waitress seemed visibly irritated and unwelcoming, and the interaction set a negative tone for the entire visit.

Great service and great food! From the moment we walked in everyone was super friendly. Even though we didn't have a reservation and it was Mother's Day they were able to seat us and have our food come out pretty quickly! Our server was so kind and constantly checked on us. The inside was also super cute and well decorated.

We went based on the fact that they had a vegan potato breakfast bowl. Breakfast is the one meal that is so hard to find vegan options for, so we were happy to find this. This was one of the best dining experiences in many years. We were welcomed in a friendly and warm manner and seated promptly. We couldn't find the potato bowl on the menu and found out it was on the happy hour menu. They had two sizes, regular and happy hour. We got one of each. The manager came over to our table and interacted with us and said lots of people visit while driving through Valdosta. We mentioned the potato bowl and his eyes lit up and he went to the kitchen to let the chef know orders were incoming. He was clearly proud to have this option. Our server officially took our order and told us about the two sizes, which was nice because the smaller size was good for me. After the bowls arrived, the chef came out twice to talk to us, and ask questions about potential vegan dishes for the future. Overall, the service went above and beyond, and was genuine and interested in our needs. The interior was tastefully decorated with lots of seating. While we were there, Sanford and Sons was playing on the TV, so that was a fun bit of nostalgia.

    Rubber box pancakes

Bathrooms are gross Eggs are overly salted. Pancakes were gross, tasted like plastic and box, hard and rubbery. So bad I didn't even bring them home to feed to my chickens or pig. Tasted like straight cardboard Bathrooms are gross. Expect longer wait times... Syrup barely came out even when being held to the side and upside down. Gratuity added automatically so please pay attention. Not worth it. Waffle House would have been better and cheaper and faster, even tastier option. Sat there for 45 mins. Seated quickly, Waitress was nice hospitality isn't the problem.

The food is flavorful! I had the catfish and grits and I'd definitely eat it again. Our waitress, Michelle, had a bright personality and gave good recommendations. Valdosta needs more of these restaurants with a variety of recipes on the menu, there was even a vegan dish. Thank y'all for bringing Augie's to town!

Before we received our food my wife said we were coming back no matter how the food tastes lol. Thankfully, the food was as enjoyable as the atmosphere. Our server was great. The pancakes were awesome. The eggs are some of the best I have had around town. The pork bacon was great quality. Even the cappuccino was made well. Most of the coffee shops around here can't even do that. I am very glad we tried this place out instead of one of the normal places we go to. Next time I am going to try a cocktail

Came here for brunch on a Monday... not busy at all! The staff was so friendly and even the cook came out and asked us how the food was. We tried to do the bottomless mimosas but they weren't doing it at that moment so we just did peach mimosas by the glass and they were pretty strong and good. I ordered the catfish and grits with bacon on the side... DELICIOUS! My friend ordered the steak and eggs and grits. She said her steak was cooked to perfection. The inside of the restaurant was very nice and even had separate rooms for meetings and a library/study. Will definitely go again and try some new items on the menu!

It's quaint, charming, and has that small-town, heartwarming vibe that makes you want to linger over your coffee a little longer. I ordered the Homemade Hash and Eggs, and it was almost perfect. The portion is hearty, so much so that I couldn't even finish it. But here's the kicker: the dish had absolutely no seasoning. None. Not even a sprinkle of salt and pepper. As someone who loves bold flavors, I found that strange. Thankfully, they had salt and pepper on hand, so after a generous shake (okay, several generous shakes), it turned into exactly what I hoped for: hearty, satisfying, and delicious. The coffee was solid but mild. I'm a "give me an extra espresso shot" kind of girl, so I would have preferred something a bit bolder. They offer basic creamer and sugar options, but I didn't notice any flavored coffee or syrups, so if that's your thing, keep it in mind. If you're a simple coffee drinker, you'll be just fine. What really sets Savannah Moon apart, though, is the service. The girl who greeted and served me was friendly and super sweet, exactly what you'd hope for in a place like this. She was genuine in a way that made me feel like a regular, even though it was my first time here. Overall, this is the quintessential breakfast spot. The prices are average in comparison to most of the sit-down breakfast spots I frequent. It's not trying too hard, it's warm and welcoming, and it just feels like the kind of place you want to visit again (and I definitely will).

I was there for breakfast, and had a Lavazzo cup of coffee, corned beef/potato hash with two basted eggs, and it was delicious. The corned beef hash was not prepared by a chef with precise knife cuts, but how I would do at home--irregularly cut potatoes, onions--it looked like hash! My friend had Eggs Benedict, and she told me they were perfectly delicious. And guess what? Bill was right at $25! Our server was a friendly, attentive young woman, who took good care of us. Run, don't walk, for an amazing breakfast at Savannah Moon Bakery, in downtown Thomasville. Their downtown deserves its own entry on social media.

Last night we came to celebrate my son's birthday. We were seated promptly for our reservation. Service was great with our server telling us if the specials (the daily blue and the yellowtail collars they had as an appetizer). We ordered a round of drinks for the table. All was going well. The smoked fish dip was good - a solid performer. We especially liked the pickled veg that came along side it. Our mains consisted of the daily blue, two had the new chicken sandwich, and I ordered the duroc aged pork chop. Liam's is fancy now, with mains not coming with sides. This certainly cranked up the bill. I had the pork chop, which was really small despite the declared weight and the price of $45. The taste was good, but didn't really impress me. The daily blue had skin that was charred, but the fish part was good. My daughter wasn't impressed with that. The chicken sandwiches, however, were a hit. Go figure. All but the daily blue ordered a side dish. Two had the mashed potatoes, which were good, I ordered the side with stringy cheese, prosciutto, peaches, and sliced peppers. No flavor. I get the bill and there is a $9.40-something charge in there for a "non-cash transaction". Also, my two drinks were charged a dollar more than the menu price. With everything there at a premium price (a larger and much better pork chop can be had at St James for more than $10 less - with sides!), everything is a la carte, and a silly charge for not having cash means I'm done with Liam's. The place where I discovered my first and favorite scotch, a love for unique cheeses, and great cooking techniques has been outdone by at least one local competitor while increasing prices and serving less. It's a shame, but they never seem to be full, so instead of improving value and delivery, they've gone to increasing prices.
