Service sub par, drinks failed. Food was good. Couldn't make a double crown Diet Coke if they tried and it's such a simple drink. Left cash with a sweet tip and was followed out questioning why I didn't leave a card. If I could give a 3.5 rating I would. The lunch portion to lap fried tilapia, and french fries were delicious and nice size servings. The breading was delicate and perfectly crispy throughout the meal. Our server Alyssa was cheerful and competent. While the restaurant itself could use a little TLC, it was clean. As were the bathrooms. If we travel this way again, I'd definitely return. No pics, though. We were way too hungry. read more

My wife and I came in today looking for some good quality seafood with great service and although the quality of the food was great the managers at this location when dealing with their staff left a lot to be desired. I understand that this is a restaurant business but there's a good way to deal with your staff and by the way I seen not just 1 manager but 2 mistreat staff I'm surprised you guys are still open. If I'm not mistaken the names were Holly and Michelle. I'd love to come back but if this is how they treat their staff I'm better off finding another seafood spot in Valdosta. read more

I ordered a seafood bag to go and specifically asked for dry seasoning as I cannot eat butter/oil. the receipt showed they took my order properly but when i arrived home it was soaked in butter and oil! I called several times that evening to speak with someone and they wouldn't answer. I called the next morning to voice my concern with the manager and she refused to come to the phone but stood next to the young lady and told me there was nothing they could do about it. she never offered an apology, refund or credit. extremely disappointed in the lack of concern from an error on their behalf. I have decided to take me to this restaurant after my birthday For another dinner. We did it after my birthday but it was fun. We went during lunch and wasn't very crowded. Didn't take us long to get seated service was OK I guess. The waitress came took her order quickly but she didn't check on us that much. We had to look for her when we wanted to pay. I think she may have been prepping some stuff for the restaurant but she should've looked around and helped us little bit more. The food was pretty good overall. I thought that the sauce was a little salty. I got house special spicy. My grandmother and aunt had the Fried oysters they said they were pretty good. My mother actually end up having Muscles in the back and they were great. I think they were the green ones. I would definitely go again. read more

LOVE! I always get the seafood combo with snow crab legs, headless shrimp & lobster tail. I love spicy food but sometimes the medium does the job, when I get hot sometimes it taste just like medium or way too extreme. Overall it's a great taste, and I eat here every time I'm in the mood for seafood either dine in or take out. Fast service and good mixed drinks also. My husband typically gets his with sausage as I'm not that big of a fan, just has too much of a smoked taste to me but he likes it. Appetizers- Fried Calamari, Wings, & Moz Sticks are good. The fried catfish is also good, mom had to send it back once just due to it being uncooked a tad but once it came back out it was delicious. Visited this past week with my family. We usually have a great experience, but this one was definitely one to remember. The food wasn't seasoned well, so we requested a bowl of seafood sauce on the side. When the sauce arrived to the table, the bottom literally melted out of the bowl as the waitress was passing it to us, which caused boiling hot seafood sauce to spill in my sister's lap. This wasn't the fault of the waitress, but I would like to say that the manager refused to come to the table to talk to us because he was "busy helping them cook in the back". He sent someone to our table to ask if we wanted the ambulance called. The biggest slap in the face was the 10% discount off of her meal to credit the large red burn mark that's still on her leg. After seeing the 10% discount on her check (which was pretty close to no discount at all), she requested to speak to the manager again and he still refused to come to the table. We won't be going back. Not sure what the "incident report" for was for, but I'm pretty sure it meant nothing. read more

DON'T GET ANYTHING BOILED. The boils/steams suck... everything was over done. I had the 1/2lb snow crabs and I felt like I was eating crawfish as much work that had to be done to get to the crab meat. The seasoning was okay. They have 4 seasonings but you only can pick one seasoning which I think is weird. read more

We drove all the way from Albany to have a good time and eat some good seafood. We saw that this place had some good reviews on the food. The food was very good, the service was EXCELLENT! We arrived to a fairly busy restaurant but wasn't overly busy. We were immediately sat in a booth with paper on the table for the obvious mess we were gonna make. Tai came over, introduced herself in a warm and polite manner. We proceeded to order our drinks and she informed us that the specialty drinks wouldn't be able to be made because they didn't have a bartender yet. So this was the one negative that the restaurant had because of course we wanted the full experience, drinks included. We ordered the calamari to begin with and when it arrived, Tai brought us boom boom and yummy sauce to go with it. The calamari was very meaty and large in size. Definitely worth the $7. For lunch, we ordered the Saturday special which was Lobster and Shrimp combo with your choice of seasoning (house blend) and your choice of level of spice (medium) for $22.99. We also ordered the seafood combo of 1 lb of snow crab and sausage with the house blend and medium spice level of seasoning. The reason why we got the house blend is because Tai suggested it as the best seasoning. Both combos came with corn and potatoes included. My smallest child ordered barbecue wings and fries off the kids menu thinking she wasn't gonna eat any of the combo. Before the food came out, Tai brought us a bucket, bibs, gloves, wet naps and crab crackers. This was probably a standard step but I've seen many places where you had to ask for the setup instead of automatically receiving it. When the food came out, WE MADE A MESS! We asked for extra butter for our combos and Tai brought one for each of us, extra lemons, as well as continually check on us to make sure we were great. The house blend was very good and the medium spice level was good enough to have a good, strong kick but not super hot. I have a spicy tongue and i always want the hottest spice but this was good and flavorful for all. The potatoes and corn could have been better seasoned but the meat was just right. My smallest child didn't even eat her wings. Why? She was too busy eating the seafood combos we had. Needless to say that this place is very good. Tai is incredible. We eat out a lot and she made our experience memorable and pleasurable. We will hopefully come back, if we do she is our server. read more

I've visited this location twice so far, from Lake City. My first time was great! The food is good and our waitress, Psalms, was so sweet and attentive. This last visit was a little less impressive. Our waitress may have just been having a rough night. She forgot to put in part of my order and never cleared off cups after bringing refills in new ones. By the end of our dinner it appears the manager took over her section for her. They were out of blue crabs, which I was really looking forward to enjoying. Everything was pretty good though! Overall the food is nothing to write home to Mom about. It's bar food set in a restaurant type atmosphere. I had the fried catfish basket with fries and a Yuengling beer. The food was just meh. Not much flavor with the catfish fry nor the fries. I was disappointed the tartar sauce was also meh. Tasted like the tartar sauce you get from the grocery store. I took 1 bite of each one and threw them all away. I ordered black mussels which were not fresh at all and my shrimp was not cleaned or picked out correctly. My service was top notch and food amazing. I am in town for business and ate somewhere else for lunch and am immediately regretting not eating here for lunch. The house seasoning (hot) was the best seafood seasoning I've had for any steamed/low country boil. Most places use old bay or some version of powdered seasoning. Did the seafood combo with garlic butter, medium spicy. Now, listen. The taste is awesome. Highly recommend. BUT price point is on the high side. They have the get your hands dirty set of menu where you get just 1 item, plus corn and potato. Or you can get combo of 2+ items of your liking, with corn and potato. The price depends on how many items you have, for example snow crab leg for single is $13ish, for combo is $12. Add shrimp ($9?) and sausage ($4.50), they really add up. I sharred my sausage with my son, who ate the entire sausage (thin slices but you do get enough to fill you up), so if you want lots of different items but dont want to eat them all, try sharing with another person by getting different things in your order. Corn is not good and my crab is a bit too done, hard to get them out of the shell. But i'll be back. Still delicious. read more
