I went into my local stores first--as I always try to do to support local businesses--but they didn't have the model he needed. Staff recommended ordering online through Best Buy, which I did, purchasing a Dell with the required specs for an engineering student. Total cost: approximately $2,500. Within the first year, the computer completely failed three separate times. Each time, it was shipped out for repair. Each time, it came back and failed again. And each time, I was told some version of: "If this happens again, we'll replace it." Well, here we are again. This time, when the same failure occurred, I was suddenly told that we had "run out of time" and replacement was no longer an option. I attempted to escalate. I asked to speak with the manager, Cody--who never showed. I then spoke with Zach and Justin. They were polite, but it was clear they did not have the tools, authority, or training to deal with what is obviously a lemon product. Instead, I was given excuses that directly contradicted what I had been told multiple times before. I won't repeat the excuses here. What matters is this: * Best Buy failed to stand behind the product * Best Buy failed to honor what their own employees repeatedly promised * And when accountability was required, Best Buy disappeared This is exactly how local retail dies--not because of online competition, but because customers lose trust. A $2,500 computer that fails repeatedly should not become the customer's problem to absorb. This was handled poorly, inconsistently, and without integrity. I expected better. After several visits, I was greeted with friendliness and welcomed with smiles. Even after not being there for years I was nervous about going back in & once again I was treated with politeness. I've had to put some items there temporarily & pay on them monthly until I get back on my feet. Yes there is interest but it's a business. I've even bought a few reasonably priced items while there & put a few things on layaway. While I don't have much experience with any other pawn shops I don't see a reason to go to another one since I'm SO pleased with Cash America. My goal is to get back on my feet financially and retrieve my items & than drop in to purchase a few things like a cute purse!

Outside of CA, NY, and NJ I have never had this happen. I asked if this was a state law (I happen to know it's not) . The clerk said it was "company policy". What a load of BS. I was planning to make a purchase and have it shipped to my local FFL at home. EFF these guys! I will never set foot in another Cash America Pawn again! If this is how they treat potential customers, they should remove the "America" from their name, maybe "Cash Russia" or "Cash China" would be more appropriate.

    I have been shopping at Target since I was a single digit age and I am a boomer if that gives you…read moreany clue as to how long I have been shopping here!! I cannot recall experiencing any unpleasant staff in person nor via phone. I have called a hundred times plus over the decades, and since we moved here and this location on Wildflower opened, I have thanked the Target guru's for this location as it's much closer to me. We have lived here for more than 20 years and I have never met an unkind, rude nor unpleasant employee in all of my visits!! Also, I will admit that I have enjoyed their drive up order services immensely as being an exceptionally positive experience as well the lengths that they will all go to should I have difficulty with an item or my order languishing longer than it should be. Target is my happy place!! As I always come out happy once I enter the doors and we'll long after I have left as I enjoy my purchases throughout the years. On a side note, an online order I purchased was damaged in-transit which the carrier contacted Target and they reordered the item without my needing to reorder the item again, including having the damaged item returned to the Target facility back to their warehouse which saved me an additional trip to return the item. How better can that service be with other larger retailers across the board??
